FALL SESSION 2019

BLOG POST #3,290 AT THE AICP-END

368 DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2020

Everything Nancy Pelosi and Adam Schiff are doing is for show.  Period.
Bakersfield, CA 93304, 11-03-2019 Sunday:  Well, folks, another week is over and this will be it for me until we meet again in 2020.  Then, the trajectory will be a countdown to Election Day, a day when I believe millions more voters are going to turn out to vote for President Trump.  Whether you like him or you despise him, the man is doing marvelous things for the American people by lowering unemployment (here in Kern County to six percent[i] or less when under Obama it was like 18 percent), bringing industry back to the United States from abroad where much of it had fled due to legacy costs like labor union demands and aggressive corporate taxation, and cutting income taxes for all Americans and not just the chosen few as Democrats typically do when they control the reins of power.
I do not know about you but my wife and I USED to watch the show, “Madam Secretary,” that was created to help feminize and to put an attractive face on Hillary Clinton’s image and to help pave the way for electoral victory in 2016 by selling a fantasy to dumbed-down Democrat voters.  Thankfully, the show is in its final season as I understand, which is good because it became a big load of liberal hooey, the likes of which, my wife and I can no longer stomach.
If we learned anything from watching the CBS fairy tale starring Téa Leoni, Tim Daly, and Keith Carradine, is that the U.S. Department of State is all powerful, omnipotent, and more in control than President Conrad Dalton (Carradine’s character).
In fact, Madam Secretary- Elizabeth McCord (the character) played by Ms. Leoni was the one running the show while President Dalton was an amiable, doddering old fool, who in the last season we watched, was removed via the 25th Amendment because a brain tumor suddenly caused the poor impotent wretch to want to initiate nuclear war with nuclear-armed powers like…wait for it…Russia.
Now, we all know that Hollywood mimics real life and that the purpose of the season was to demonstrate that responsible Cabinet officials and other members of government should step in and remove a president exhibiting ‘crazy signs’ so he (or she) cannot cause irreparable damage to both the country and the world.
Luckily, for President Dalton, once doctors cured him of the brain crisis, he was able to return to power and so all was well and good again.  However, it was clear that the producers of the show and its actors believed that President Donald J. Trump should be removed from office via the 25th Amendment and that they did not believe he had any malady or defect that might permit him to return to power.
No, if his enemies were able to remove President Trump from office, I suspect they most likely would send him, his entire family, and his closest associates to a black site gulag somewhere in Alaska, so hated is he by the Washington elites.  I mean, look at how the Washington Nationals[ii] fans treated the commander-in-chief: booed him as he watched them go down to defeat in Game 5.  What a disgrace.
Back to the topic at hand, the Department of State is part of the Executive Branch of government over which the president presides.  The Constitution of the United States places the power in the hands of the president to make the foreign policy of the country.  He (or she) has sole right to determine the foreign policy and the secretary of state- someone whom the president nominates to serve in that role and who undergoes confirmation in the U.S. Senate- is the person who oversees that members of his or her department carry out said foreign policy with no rebellion.
Democrats act as though the State Department controls foreign policy and that the president- as in a parliamentary system, i.e., with a prime minister- carries out the policy given him by the Deep State bureaucrats.  This is entirely back-assed-wards and wrong yet the way in which, the Democrats are going about the impeachment scam demonstrates that warped view.
Hence the now ‘infamous’ Ukraine phone call between President Trump and Volodymyr Zelensky, the one in which, the Democrats (and some RINOS) shriek and howl about the (supposed) quid pro quo that simply does not exist.  Consequently why “Lying Adam” Schiff[iii] brings in one Deep State ambassador after another, as well as others from within the Department of State and the National Security Council to make this absurd point that the president did something ‘wrong,’ is little more than bulls**t.
So, the Democrats bring in Army Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman in full military attire so he can wail and weep at how upset he was over what President Trump was doing with his opposite in the Ukraine.  Wow.  A big steaming load of bull crap, especially when we consider the fact that the left ABHORS the military and does everything to trash military members and to vilify them whenever they have the opportunity to do so.
As far as I know, the president can replace ambassadors and others within the Executive Branch and fire them (or have the secretary of state do it) without having to clear it with anyone, especially not the Congress.  While Congress can conduct oversight of Executive Branch doings, they cannot yay or nay the president’s decision on anything related to HIS (or HER) branch, only theirs.
Everything ‘Senile Nancy’ Pelosi is doing is for show and nothing more.  The fact that her Alzheimer meds do not seem to be working anymore is why many of us believe she has put her party on this unstoppable trajectory to electoral disaster which is why many of us believe their losses are going to dwarf anything we saw under President Barack Obama’s tenure in office- more than 1,500 seats across the entire nation[iv].
All we can do is to remain steadfast in our determination to push back on these slum-bums and I am telling you, we may have been wrong about some elections here in California last year but I think the GOP is going to recover the lost seats and then some and the Democrats will be left howling in the darkness along the fringes.
Couldn’t happen to a more deserving party.  See you next year.

[i] In the Golden State, our unemployment rate used to be sky high but with the Trump economy, it has dropped to its lowest level in decades.  Please see this post online: <https://www.bakersfield.com/news/unemployment-falls-to-percent-in-kern/article_54c4728a-f1c6-11e9-80c3-97732eb27ffa.html>
[ii] Congratulations to the Washington Nationals for their amazing Game 7 win in Houston.  It was a hell of a series with each team losing every game on its home field what with Washington becoming the first team in MLB history to win all four road games and a World Series.  Congratulations to Stephen Strasburg for his MVP Award.
[iii] One thing the Framers of the Constitution failed to add to the document was a clause that stipulated that political impeachments that fail as this one will that the House speaker and whatever hacks set the whole ball rolling must face impeachment themselves.  Wouldn’t you love to see that?  Many of us here at the AICP-END Blog sure wish it was so.

FEATURED ALBUM OF THE DAY:

Former Zombies vocalist, Colin Blunstone (vocals/guitars), released his debut solo album, “One Year,” on November 16, 1971.  Fans love the album and consider it to be one of his all-time best efforts as a solo artist.  Interesting thing here is that Argent backs him on the album: Rod Argent (all keyboards/vocals), Russ Ballard (guitars/vocals), Jim Rodford (bass/vocals), and Bob Henrit (drums and percussion).  If you want to hear one of British rock’s most unique voices, one that deserves to be included in any discussion of English rock singers, this is one you need to consider.  We believe you will enjoy it so please, seek it out ASAP.  We know you will dig it.
