FALL SESSION 2019

BLOG POST #3,277 AT THE AICP-END

381 DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2020

One would think the Democrats would sense the devastation coming their way…
Santa Barbara, CA 93102, 10-21-2019 Monday:  Hey, everybody, I’m back for my second week of the year and as is the norm, we are going to jump right into the mosh pit.  Whenever I hear Nancy Pelosi, soon-to-be-former-House Speaker say, ‘we should pray for the president’s (Trump’s) sanity,’ I want to puke my guts into the nearest waste bin.  Nance, old girl, old gal, we should pray that your anti-senility drugs begin working and that they begin working soon because it is clear that President Trump is clearly under your skin.  That was highly apparent when you fled the meeting in the White House last week and rushed out to the assembled bank of mics and began sobbing and wailing about how DT is a schlemiel.  As the Kinks sing, “Stop all Your Sobbing,[i]” you old bag.
I must say, we write about twice a year here at the AICP-END Blogs which means our two tours of duty per year are approximately six months apart.  NO one ever imagines that when they return to do their second week of the year that things are going to be even more insane than they were the preceding time.  As usual, things are crazier and the Dems are at risk of losing their cookies over this impeachment thing.
I think most people will agree with me that the ‘impeachment thing’ is going nowhere no matter how much losers such as ‘Shifty’ Adam Schiff, Gerry ‘the Doughnut-Gobbler’ Nadler, Speaker ‘Lame Brain’ Pelosi, and Chuckie Schumer[ii] crave it.  I mean, we can drop to our knees and pray to Satan (as the Democrats do) around the clock but the souls of these scalawags have been long since promised to the Dark Lord so whatever they beg and pray for NOW is simply not going to happen.
I suspect the Democrats are going to draw the impeachment farce out as much as they possibly can because they will use it as a means of driving their voters to the polls in November 2020.  They will blow their horns and wail and holler that ‘unless we can win a decisive victory in the Senate next year, there is no way by which (unless we drive one of our nuts to commit the unspeakable) we can remove this president.’
Back on April 30 of this year, I wrote a post in which I said the following:
I would like to reach out to the Democrats and tell them that what they are doing to ‘take down’ President Trump is NOT working and that if anything, it is going to enable HIM to mop the floor with their 2020 candidates and then destroy them as a party.  After all, who the heck likes spoiled grapes, the sniveling crybabies are more concerned with the 2016 Election than winning the 2020 Election which is 554 days away.  My, my, my!”  (Hall, James 30-April-2019)
Looking back on the events of the past week- as well as those of the past six months- I stand by what I said six months ago, there is no way that the Democrats with the constant, around-the-clock barrage of negativity stand a chance of driving President Trump out of office or winning the victory they so desperately seek.
You see, that is the difference between them living within their bubbles and we, the people, living across the country and typically OUTSIDE those protective bubbles.  For the Democrats and many Republicans, too, it is as if they live in Stephen King’s “Under the Dome,”[iii] in that they are cut off from the rest of society and believe whatever it is they choose to believe which in this case is little more than the type of thing that used to get one committed whereas now, it puts them on the street.
I will admit to all that I thought after the implosion of the “Mueller Investigation”[iv] into Russia-Trump Collusion went down the way it did- like a burning B-17 over Dresden, Germany, in World War II- that the Democrats would accept the embarrassing defeat dealt to them and would move on with selecting the BEST candidate among them to challenge the president in next year’s election.  Nope, no way.
So, what are the Democrats running on?  What do they seek to do for the American people?  One would think that perhaps they might see the light and open their eyes but oh no, they are running on a crazy town platform of hate, hate, and more hate.  Here is something else I said in my post from April 2019:
“The Democrats- as we all know- put the souls of their mothers into the basket that Special Counsel Robert S. Mueller III was carrying about as he investigated under this stone and that, seeking Russian Collusion.  Imagine that.  The Dems risked the souls of their beloved mothers, putting all their chips on the Russian Collusion Hoax bearing some sort of festering fruit and lo and behold, the man came up DRY- even with all the anti-Trump hacks he had working for him.  Wow.  Go figure.”  (Hall, James 30-April-2019)
I think those of us who view the world as a somewhat ‘fair place’ would think the Dems would understand that everything they are doing- which is NOT the work of the American people but of their own stubborn ‘go for broke to get this guy we so hate out of office’- is irritating the American people like chiggers under one’s skin.  Nope, they cannot see it, they cannot feel it, nor do they give a flying fluck about it.  They are on a mission.
In closing, I say to the Democrats, “You need to wake up and smell the disaster coming in your direction.  This is going to be one for the books, one in which, future historians will look back on this time and wonder how a once sensible political party destroyed itself over trying to overturn the previous election instead of going for broke to win the next one.’
Some people are simply plain ignorant.  We must hope that the anti-senility meds Speaker Pelosi is taking start working or she is going to be judged responsible for the devastating losses that are coming her way and which will make the 1,200-plus seats[v] Barack Obama lost look like child’s play.  Good grief.
See you tomorrow.

Back in the day, I was working at a hotel in Bakersfield, California, down on Union Avenue where I met Stinkbug.  It was still nice at the time, and the area was still the original "restaurant row" of the city.  Now, I am over 70 years old and work over in Santa Barbara, CA, as a food and beverage director for a fine-dining country club.  The pictures you see here of me are facsimiles created by up-and-coming Bakersfield, California, street artist, the famed Simone.  Clever work, dude, clever work.

[i] I believe the Kinks covered this song and that it was originally by the Pretenders.
[ii] If any of these four people were reasonably sane they would understand that the vast majority of the American people do not support them.  However, they are blind as bats and cannot see the doom awaiting them if they don’t stop.  I guess when the fake news media is calling the shots and you do their bidding, you will do whatever they want you to do thinking that what you are doing is in sync with the American people.  Nope.  Not at all.
[iii] Great TV show but it got pulled before they completed it as far as I recall.
[iv] What a disaster this was for Democrats what with a befuddled old man shagging questions in front of Congress.  The Dems sought to lead him but Mueller was so far gone that all attempts to put words in his mouth went in one ear and out the other.  What an ignoble end to a distinguished career.  Thank you, Democrats, you care nothing about any one other than to use them as tools in whatever corrupt and crooked scheme you are running.
[v] The 44th president was such a disaster that over the course of two mid-term and one re-election bid, he cost his party more than 1,200 seats at all levels around the country.  One would think the Dems would remember this but nope, they cannot see the truth through the forest of their lies.

SPECIAL ALBUMS OF THE DAY:

Posted @ the Monday, January 28, 2013 Blog Post:

Today, we offer the first two Frank Zappa SOLO albums combined on one disc, “Lumpy Gravy and Hot Rats.” The first album appeared on August 07, 1967 while the second album came out on October 10, 1969.  From this point forward, Frank Zappa would release more solo albums than he would with the Mothers of Invention and his output was fabulously large.  Both of these albums are incredibly good and a must-own for all serious fans of the eclectic superstar.  Please seek it out at whatever site you do for the best in rock music as these two gems on one convenient disc will rock your socks.

Posted @ the Friday, September 12, 2014 Blog Post B:

Crawler released their next effort, “Roots- A Pre-History,” on December 01, 2003.   This album contains 18 tracks from before the band was formed, some of which are extremely amazing.  As one of the great unsung bands of the 1970s due to changing times, if you are interested in what music was REALLY like back in the day and not the candy-ass crap we must suffer through now, this is one for you.  Please, seek it out and add it to your collection- you will be glad you did.
