FALL SESSION 2019

BLOG POST #3,283 AT THE AICP-END

375 DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2020

Although it may not seem like it now, the Dems are actively digging their own graves…
Santa Barbara, CA 93102, 10-27-2019 Sunday:  Friends, today is my final post of the year so let’s make it a good one.  Every day, we find ourselves bombarded with politics.  We get up at four in the morning, have our coffee, eat a hurried breakfast, so we can get down to the restaurant and into the bakery- those cinnamon buns ain’t going to make themselves.  When I have a break from the action, I find myself in my office watching the news and no matter what is going on in the world or around the country, its “Trump, Trump, and more Trump, and still more Trump, and more Trump after that.”  Ai-yi-yi, folks, life was not meant to be this way, this constant assault on our senses, whether we love the guy or want to see him impaled on a stake along the Potomac River, it is all Trump.
Now, I have come to love the guy.  I might not always agree with what he says or how he goes about doing things but there is NO denying the GOOD he is bringing to average Americans.  As I have said earlier in the week, wages are up, unemployment is way down, people are finding careers instead of jobs, and we have been hiring- American citizens I will remind you and NOT illegal aliens (sorry, Xavier Becerra[i], sorry, Gavin Newsom[ii]) like mad.  We need help, are employing people, and offering them a whole lot and more to go to work for us.
California demands some Trump improvements.  I recently went to register my 20-plus-year-old truck and the damned thing costs me close to $200 when last year, it was around $90.  See some new ‘environmental fees’ and some new taxes and charges[iii], it is clear that Gov. Gavin Newsom did not learn the extremely harsh lesson Governor Gray Davis[iv] had to learn.
About 18 or so years ago, we recalled that schmuck precisely because registering a vehicle in the Golden State skyrocketed.  He thought he could force we California citizens to drop our pants, slather on some Crisco shortening on our backsides, and take it where the liberal sun don’t shine.
We recalled that scuzz-bag and in our exhilaration we elected the Terminator out of a field or more than 100 or so candidates as I recall, including a porn star.  We thought we were getting a guy who was going to fight for us, but no, he fought for the liberal way of life, which for some, was great and for most others, not so much.  Two terms of him, we then got a relic from the past, old Chrome Dome himself, Jerry Flipping Brown.
Now Jerry was as far left as they come.  He did, however, possess a conscience, and at times even he knew what the nuts in the state house were doing was bat crap crazy and he would push back.  Unfortunately, we got stuck with his underling after two terms of the moonbeam and now we have Gray Davis’ protégé, the Smiler, Gavin Newsom[v], who, whether he knows it or he does not, he could soon be going the way of his benefactor.
As I said, registering vehicles has once again skyrocketed as have gasoline taxes.  Oh, the Dems are always wailing about the gas companies but it’s the Democrats, it’s their oppressive system of taxes, they slap onto everything and seek to find a way to stuff a VAT tax down our throats, too.
Property taxes are rough, business taxes high, and no matter how hard you work to maintain a business in California, all one needs do is to look out the window where the front booths are located and you can see some indigent POS[vi] drop his trousers, do a squat, and leave a big steaming pile of fecal matter there for all to behold.  And this is frigging Santa Barbara, home of the wealthy and a tourist haven for all.
I hope that President Trump will come and do some BIG rallies in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Oakland, Stockton, Fresno, and perhaps Oildale.  The last two are big pro-Trump places whereas the others are festering stink-holes of liberalism that must face the Trump Revolution in full force so the Dems around the state can see it full on and begin trembling over what is to come.
After watching that humongous rally in Minnesota a couple of weeks ago, the one where the president packed them in on the stomping ground of that ‘perfect example of Muslim femininity,’ Ilhan Omar[vii], we had a premonition of the tidal wave coming in 2020.
I think IF President Trump came here and held some massive rallies, the Democrats would see- once again- that the winds of change are blowing strongly against them, hurricane force.  The people I meet and see here are angry, we are chomping at the bit, we want to flood the polling stations and, ballot harvesting be damned, vote these worthless sons of bitches out en mass.
I think if the Democrats continue going down the dark path which they are navigating, one seeking to overturn an election almost three years back while the next one is little more than a year away, I think the Democrats are going down and are going to go down hard, go down so frigging hard that they crumble into dust.
Minnesota is in play as is Michigan, Pennsylvania, California, Oregon, maybe Washington.  People are angry at the abject misery the Democrats permit to infest the streets, homeless, destitute, diseased drug addicts, illegal aliens, felons, and the scum that pray upon them.
I have been to Seattle on business and to Portland, Oregon.  I have seen the street scenes, I have seen the Antifa thugs, the endless sidewalks of the homeless, the forlorn, the empty, blank staring eyes, begging pocket change, following people to their cars, badgering and hounding them.  Your average citizen does not want this nor will we accept it.
I am telling you the end is coming for the Democrats.  Sure, we have said that here before but when gas costs more than one can afford, when registering one’s third-hand car is out of reach for many, the income folks ems claim to want to help, the lower income folks and the poor, they will be the focus of the change that is to come.
Friends let me know what you think.  I will see you in 2020 and we will continue things from there.  Chef Kilgore is here tomorrow, be here to welcome him.

Back in the day, I was working at a hotel in Bakersfield, California, down on Union Avenue where I met Stinkbug.  It was still nice at the time, and the area was still the original "restaurant row" of the city.  Now, I am over 70 years old and work over in Santa Barbara, CA, as a food and beverage director for a fine-dining country club.  The pictures you see here of me are facsimiles created by up-and-coming Bakersfield, California, street artist, the famed Simone.  Clever work, dude, clever work.

[ii] IF anyone is vindictive enough in the Golden State to cooperate with ICE by turning in illegal aliens or not hiring someone because we suspect he or she is an illegal alien, state government under these two POS will come down atop you.  However, we have a guerilla action of sort going on here where we will contact federal immigration authorities using a variety of surreptitious and according to Sacramento, illegal aliens but F**K them.  People still respect and obey the law (although we do it undercover…for now).
