SUMMER SESSION 2019

BLOG POST #3,233 AT THE AICP-END

424 DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2020

I will defend the Second Amendment and the NRA to the death- come and take MY guns away, Democrats…
Los Angeles, CA 90064, 09-07-2019 Saturday: Well…the left is at it again, due to the recent mass shootings, two in Texas, one in Dayton, another in Gilroy little over a month ago, the Dems want to take away our firearms, literally come to our homes and take them out of our hands.  Oh, they claim they will reimburse us via a buyback but we know that that is never going to happen.  They might kick us ten-percent of the price of an AR-15 while confiscating our magazines that hold more than the number of rounds allotted us by the law along with what they will deem as ‘excess ammunition.’  When will they ever learn?  When will they ever learn?
Here in Los Angeles, we gun owners do our best to keep to ourselves.  We venture to gun ranges, we go north to Bakersfield where the people value the Second Amendment and do not harass or pursue people for phony violations as law enforcement does here in the City of Angels.
My family and I love shooting firearms.  In fact, we have numerous AR-15 ‘assault rifles’ in our home just as my kids do.  We have handguns galore, we have hunting rifles and we have shotguns, some legal, many no longer legal.
IF Governor Gavin Newsom or dimwit Mayor Eric Garcetti want to come remove my family’s guns, they are going to find gun barrels sticking out the windows and doors.  As Charlton Heston used to say when he was alive and in charge of the NRA, “you can have my gun when you pry it out of my cold dead fingers.”  Amen.  Pass the ammo, Lord.
The thing that always amazes me is how the American left wants to remove firearms from the hands of law-abiding citizens while doing little to nothing to halt the mass slaughter that seemingly goes on around the clock in cities such as Chicago, Detroit, Baltimore, Los Angeles, and other big, liberal-controlled metropolises.
We all know that the mass murder that occurs in Chicago on any given weekend- more so on three-and-four-day holiday weekends- is shocking, absolutely shocking.  One would think that the governor of the Illinois would mobilize the National Guard units within their state and send them in to quell the violence but no- Gov. J.B. Pritzker, Democrat, blames it on surrounding conservative states where supposedly- I repeat supposedly- gun laws are much laxer which is out-and-out bulls**t.
Back in 2012, Hugo Chavez, the now dead dictator of Venezuela banned the sale and ownership of all firearms and ammunition.  He had to do this so he could concentrate power in the hands of the Venezuelan army, in the hands of the cops, and in the hands of ‘security forces’ meaning in the hands of thugs loyal to the new boss man.
Tragically, Venezuela descended into a shithole country status relatively quickly to the point that the new socialist scum were able to push themselves into privately-owned homes, into apartments, into virtually every aspect of Venezuelan middle-and-upper class life so they could enact the ‘revolution’ which was nothing but a means of concentrating power in the hands of the upper echelons and punishment for those deemed to be ‘enemies of the state.’
At one time, the Democrats used to F-L-O-A-T the idea of taking guns but when questioned on it, they would always back down and say, “Oh, no, I (we) respect the Second Amendment.  We would NEVER seek to confiscate guns.”
Now, the candidates in the running ALL say to a man or woman that they will find a way to repeal the Second Amendment and will take away our guns.  They talk of buyback programs, they talk of confiscating them door to door, all the while leaving law-abiding citizens in the same difficult position that the people of Venezuela were in after Hugo Chavez- may he burn in hell- robbed them of the right to own and use firearms.
This is WHAT dictators do.  Adolf Hitler did it in Germany.  Josef Stalin did it in the Soviet Union.  The Chinese have done it in the People’s Republic of China just as the Kim Family has done it in North Korea.  In virtually EVERY despotic regime around the world, the two priorities are taking guns and providing government-run health care to everyone (another means of controlling the lives of its citizens) is the foot in the door to running every aspect of each citizen’s life.
We have many seeking to do it here.  The Baby Evita- aka Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez- the dumbest woman in the Congress as well as the MOST DANGEROUS due to her toxically high levels of idiocy want our guns.  Kamala Harris wants our guns just as Cory Booker and Beto O’Rourke and Tim Ryan and Bill Di Blasio and Bernie Sanders and all the rest want our guns.
This election, we are fighting for either liberty or tyranny.  We are fighting for less omnipotent and omnipresent government or for more.  We are fighting for the futures of our kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids and their kids while the BIG GOVERNMENT liberals are fighting for greater control, from cradle to grave.
I know where I stand.  My family knows where it stands.  Millions of us know where we stand.  The question is, where do YOU stand?  With the Marxists-Leninists-Obamaists or with the Constitution of the United States and the Bill of Rights?  Let me know.
See you tomorrow.

SPECIAL ALBUMS OF THE DAY:

Posted @ the Saturday, December 15, 2012 Blog Post:

Mountain released their official ‘sophomore’ effort, “Nantucket Sleighride,” on January 10, 1971.  This album cemented the band’s reputation as not only a hard-rocking unit but also as a band blessed with a variety of styles, abilities, and directions.  The title track is lengthy while the tune, “Animal Trainer and the Toad,” remains among the best rock songs of the time, being extremely fascinating in its lyrics and its musicianship.  This album is absolutely stunning and one that every fan of the band as well as the era as well as heavy-duty but intelligent rock should own.  The lineup was the same and featured Leslie West (guitars/vocals), Felix Pappalardi (bass/keyboards/guitars/vocals/ and production), Corky Laing (drums and percussion), and Steve Knight (keyboards).  Please, seek it out, give it a listen, and add it to your collection- you will be glad you did.
