In a sane world, Democrats seeking the White House would promise American citizens ‘free this’ and ‘free that’ instead of making the promise to illegal-frigging-aliens; WTF?

SUMMER SESSION 2019

BLOG POST #3,237 AT THE AICP-END

420 DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2020

Until Democrats return to sanity, don’t expect the votes of my family or me…
Shafter, CA 93263, 09-11-2019 Wednesday: Amigos, hola, good morning, welcome to the world’s only blog where professional chefs like me and my colleagues discuss politics among other things.  We are a tight group of comrades, culinary pros who have given our lives to preparing quality food and serving nothing but the finest beverages as well as people who discuss politics and debate the issues every single day in whatever kitchen in whatever city we work.  This is what we do.
Earlier this year, I wrote a post in which, I blasted my fellow Democrats for the crazy talk they are spewing all over the campaign trail as though it is fecal matter from a broken sewage line in McFarland.  We have heard every single one of the candidates talk about how they are going to do all this ‘free stuff’ for noncitizens- putos no ciudadanos- while expecting middle class professionals like my family and I, as well as our colleagues, family, and friends, to pay for it.  ¡Al diablo con eso!
In my view, this is not a winning argument, nowhere near the ballpark.  All these candidates are doing is alienating more and more of the electorate.
Despite what they may say to telephone poll takers, only a very small percentage believes that Americans should pay for everything from FREE healthcare to FREE education.  We do not believe in that nor do most Republicans, much less Democrats.  We want sanity to return to our party; alas, where have all the Blue Dogs gone?
Well, the liberal wing of the modern Democratic Party has driven them into retirement or into the political wilderness, allowing bug-eyed idiots and towel-wearing haters to rule the day.  I have never seen anything like this, where sane Democrats tread with caution so they won’t bring down the wrath of either a failed bartender or an anti-Semitic Somali refugee.
These are the ones who stoke the fire by pouring more and more gasoline on it.  These are the ones and their hand-picked candidates seeking the nomination who expect someone like me and my family to pick up the tab for people we don’t want here unless they enter the country legally, not by swimming across the Rio Grande or climbing the fence separating Mexico from the United States.
To lure more and more illegal aliens into our country, the losers seeking the nomination (and who have the best chance at winning it) all promise to give everything FREE to the illegal aliens.  Here is what I said about these losers back on March 21, 2019:
“Currently, the candidates all seem to copycat one another, not a single one of them has any originality unless we look back at Senator Bernie Sanders who came up with the foundation of what the rest now claim as their own policies.  Free this, free that, free everything, and the world and the country will become a utopia where everyone is equal.” (Del Soto, 21-March-2019)
We certainly do not hear any variation in the themes the Democrat candidates continue spitting out.  If one even comes up with a somewhat original idea, the others quickly latch onto it and then seek to one-up it.
What’s more, we have had out-and-out losers such as Beto O’Rourke, the skateboarding dimwit, and little Julian Castro, the punk, who as HUD secretary under President Obama, wanted to stick Section 8 housing into upper middle-class and upper-class neighborhoods as some sort of way to ‘punish’ the American people.
Here is something else I said in my post on March 21:
“The thing that pulls the rug out from under each of the present number of Democrats trying to win the nomination is that to give away everything FREE means that everyone forced to giving away everything must do it willingly which no one will.  No matter what threats one uses, no matter what force one employs, no matter how onerous Big Brother becomes, the simple economic truths still apply.”  (Del Soto, 21-March-2019)
President Trump is the man yanking the rug out from under each of the Democrat candidates in the 2020 running.
By creating nearly 6-million new higher-paying jobs, thereby slashing unemployment, and allowing more and more opportunities to return to our country, all the Dems can do is to continue screeching about Russia and putting the economic improvements upon President Obama, something for which, he bears NO credit.
Obama and the Democrats are the ones who gave us the economic crash of 2008, he continued it, and did nothing to improve it until 2016 when Hillary needed all the help she could get.
President Trump has worked economic miracles for this country and sane people appreciate it.  We want things to continue improving so that jobs transform into careers and wages continue to become wealth-creating instead of just life-sustaining.
This also is why the Dems continue wailing about the ‘approaching economic recession’ because they understand the ONLY way they can get Trump out of the White House is by trashing the economy yet again, the same way they engineered Barack Obama’s election victory in 2008.
Friends, thanks for joining me today and please, remember the truth: the modern-day Democratic Party stands for failure, misery, and increasing government intrusion into all our lives.  We cannot permit this to happen, at least not on my watch.

As have the rest of my colleagues, local Bakersfield street artist, Simone, created these portraits of me that you will see over successive days here at the blog.  I guess Simone did ‘okay’ in capturing my likeness; I guess it could have been worse.  I was a young cook back in the early 1960's when I commenced my culinary career.  I served underneath a Master Chef for many years before striking out on my own.  I went up the coast of the Western United States and Canada, working all the way, until I made it to Alaska.  From there, I moved to Hawaii for a couple of years (1994-1997) before I returned to Washington State and it was there that I met Stinkbug.

El Chilote is a moderate Democrat.

FEATURED ALBUM OF THE DAY:

Phil Collins released his next album, “Remixed Sides,” on May 31, 2019.  As it sounds, this is a ‘best of’ compilation featuring remixed versions of singles he released as a solo artist, all remastered for the modern listener to enjoy.  The remarkable thing about this remarkable musician is that he has his ‘band persona’ and his ‘solo performer persona,’ which allows him to mix all manner of genres, styles, and formats.  We hope you will seek this exceptional effort out by visiting the absolute best site for music in the world- your nearest record shop.

SPECIAL ALBUMS OF THE DAY:

Posted @ the Wednesday, December 19, 2012 Blog Post:

WestBruce, and Laing released their sophomore effort, “Whatever Turns You On,” on July 16, 1973.  As mentioned yesterday, the powerhouse trio was in the throes of drug and alcohol abuse but the music still resonated and fans continued to turn out to hear the amazing performances that few other bands were able to deliver at the time.  We hope you will seek this album out and consider adding it to your growing collection just as we have.  We love it as will you.

Posted @ the Saturday, August 23, 2014 Blog Post B:

Robert Plant came back with yet another big seller, “Fate of Nations,” which he released on May 25, 1993.  He jettisoned his old band and returned with a new one and with a new sound more reminiscent of his earlier work with Led Zeppelin.  Joining him were Doug Boyle (guitars), Phil Johnstone (keyboards), Charlie Jones (bass), and Chris Blackwell (drums).    This album went gold and it continued to cement the vocalist as a premier  solo artist for good with another big selling single, “I Believe.”  We hope you will seek this album out as at the time, it was awesome and would be his last solo effort for about a decade.  Please, give it a listen.
