SUMMER SESSION 2019

BLOG POST #3,235 AT THE AICP-END

422 DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2020

“Don’t know about you, but I am sick of ‘Pontiff Pete’

I find the current condition of my party absolutely appalling…
Shafter, CA 93263, 09-09-2019 MondayHola, amigos, I am back for my second week of the year and every time I venture in to do my time at our Oildale office, I am shocked by what is going on in the world around me.  I am a Democrat, have always been a Democrat, and unlike Fritz who actually switched sides over the past year, I will die a Democrat.  However, that does not mean I am happy with the way my party is going nor that I am pleased with the losers seeking to replace President Trump.  I will admit, I have NEVER seen a lineup of- for lack of a better description- beetle dung- that I am now seeing.  It is embarrassing, it is humiliating, and it will make me vote for another term for President Donald J. Trump.
Now, I understand that many of my amigos are going to be shocked.  They are going to say what they always say, “El Chilote is crazy, El Chilote is a closet Republican, that I am a ringer, that I am a bum, that I am doing the bidding of Mo and Stinky and some of my other colleagues;” none of which is true.
I come from a time when Democrats represented the working people of this country.  We never represented communists or socialists or fascists or other totalitarians but fought for freedom, for equality, for black men and women to be able to commune with white men and women, with brown men and women, and with red and yellow men and women and all colors in between on the original rainbow of humanity
Democrats stood for the rights of blue collar workers, of agricultural workers, of the great men and women who tamed this country, who built the dams, the power plants, the automotive factories, who worked long and hard to make sure that America was the number one nation among the top tier of nations.  We built the railroads, the highways, we put in airports, train and bus stations, built the skyscrapers and buildings that distinguished our nation from all the others of the world.
Now, my party seems to stand for he-she’s and for she-he’s, for boys who want to dress up and prance around like they are girls and for butch chicks who want to parade around like they have dicks.
Democrats accept perversion, accept deviancy, and anyone who is bold enough to make public statements that ‘while I will respect the rights of the LGBTQIA+ community, I will never drop to my knees and act as though they are my moral equals.  I will never do that NO matter what piece of human scum- pedazo de escoria humana- demands I do it.  No flipping way, Jose, so Mayor Pete, stop acting like Pontiff Pete because YOU aren’t.
My party stands for bringing everyone DOWN rather than pulling everyone UP.  Look at Bernie Sanders, at Elizabeth Warren, at that hateful hag, Kamala Harris, look at these socialist losers who believe that our planet is going to DIE in 12 years due to ‘climate change.’
If these losers pursuing the nomination for 2020 believe that global warming-climate change-extreme weather is so awful, so existential, and so dangerous and we are not the ones producing the death-dealing pollution causing the end of existence, how come little Mayor Pete or Beto O’Rourke (spoiler alert: FAKE Mexican- he should be ashamed, el inútil pedazo de mierda de perro), is not out there demanding that we INVADE China and India, the two biggest polluters and producers of plastic waste clogging our oceans?
I heard Rush Limbaugh on the radio this past Friday and someone asked that very same question that if the planet is in danger that threatens to destroy EVERYTHING we know and love in little more than a decade, why aren’t we putting boots on the ground in China, in India, and around the world where nations eagerly pollute while we continue restricting ourselves to less and less ‘living,’ like giving up plastic straws and having to pay for frigging grocery bags that we end up throwing away anyway?
The problem is, it’s all a farce, it’s all a joke, and the joke is on us, thanks to the media covering up the idiocy of the current crop of Democrats, especially the younger ones spewing lies about how Americans are bad but the garbage south of the border are better than us.  What a carga de vapor, desbordamiento del tanque séptico, I’m telling you.
I hope that President Trump can worm BIG LABOR away from the Democratic Party.  The opportunity is there.  We have union men and women, American citizens, who are as angry as I am at the far leftist tilt the party we loved, supported, and rallied around continues moving towards one resembling Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels, one of which, Josef Stalin and Mao Zedong and Kim Jong-Il and Kim Jong Un, and Fidel and Raul Castro could be proud.
This election, I will be working long and hard for Donald Trump as well as working to boot out all the Democrats in California who stole their House seats in 2018.  We can and will do it and then, and only then, can we hope for some sort of restoration of the ORIGINAL Democratic Party, one that respects all people but which does not bow down to splinter fringe groups that are polluting our society and corrupting our schools.

As have the rest of my colleagues, local Bakersfield street artist, Simone, created these portraits of me that you will see over successive days here at the blog.  I guess Simone did ‘okay’ in capturing my likeness; I guess it could have been worse.  I was a young cook back in the early 1960's when I commenced my culinary career.  I served underneath a Master Chef for many years before striking out on my own.  I went up the coast of the Western United States and Canada, working all the way, until I made it to Alaska.  From there, I moved to Hawaii for a couple of years (1994-1997) before I returned to Washington State and it was there that I met Stinkbug.

FEATURED ALBUM OF THE DAY:

Peter Gabriel released his next effort, a 1-CD ‘best of’ compilation entitled “Rated PG,” which came out on April 13, 2019.  Other than the soundtracks, this effort contains music culled from his previous solo albums.  If you have yet to get in on the ground floor of this influential artist, this is how you do so.  Please, seek the album out by visiting whatever site you do for the absolute best in music.  You will be glad you did so seek it out now and give it a good listen- you will enjoy it.

SPECIAL ALBUMS OF THE DAY:

Posted @ the Monday, December 17, 2012 Blog Post:

Mountain released a live album following the breakup of the original band, “Mountain Live: The Road Goes Ever On,” which came out on April 24, 1972.  Unlike the live side of the previous effort, “Flowers of Evil,” this effort was much more polished and gave a glorious insight into how powerful yet amazingly melodic and innovative this East Coast band could be.  We hope you will seek it out at whatever site you visit for nothing but the best in rock-and-roll music as it is a must-own and at the time, a fond farewell to a group everyone loved.   This was the last album featuring the CLASSIC lineup of Leslie West (guitars/vocals), Felix Pappalardi (bass/keyboards/guitars/vocals/ and production), Corky Laing (drums and percussion), and Steve Knight (keyboards).

Posted @ the Friday, August 22, 2014 Blog Post B:

Famed Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page teamed up with Whitesnake’s David Coverdale to form the group, Coverdale-Page.”  Their first album, “Coverdale-Page,” came out on March 15, 1993 and for many Zeppelin fans was almost as good as having the actual band back seeing as how Coverdale can sound uncannily similar to Robert Plant.  Joining the two musicians were Denny Carmassi (drums/percussion), Jorge Casas (bass), Lester Mendez (keyboards/percussion), along with several other extremely talented musicians to round out the sound.  The song, “Pride and Joy,” “Shake This Tree,” and “Over Now,” are exceptional and worth the price of admission alone.  We hope you will seek this one out and consider adding it to your collection- you will be glad you did.
