Congrats to the Krink, Lucy, and the kids…
Bakersfield, CA 93308, 09-30-2019 Monday:   First things first: I want to congratulate the Krink as well as his lovely wife, Lucy, and their two kids, Eddie and Kristy for crossing the great divide and becoming Republicans.  I know I love the Libertarian Party but I had to make the same soulful choice, too, and become a GOPPER.  Ah, well, in these trying times of vile Democrats and RINO helpmates trying to do everything in their Felix’s magic bag of tricks[i] to obliterate President Trump and his family, the president needs all the help he can get and we Republicans are going to give it to him.
The Democrats are intent on destroying this great man which is why all of us are giving the max number of donations, both personal and corporate, as well as urging everyone we know to do the same.  I knew as far back as early 2016 that if Mr. Trump did win the presidency that his enemies would do everything in their power to destroy the man.
The question is, how have we arrived here where we now find ourselves?  I read the posts by the Krink this week with great interest as I wanted to understand how he and his lovely family arrived at the monumental decision in their lives, you know, giving up on the Libertarian Party to which, they have always belonged to and worked hard to promote, to become members of the GOP like Henry and I did.
It became a crisis of conscience for them as it was for us.  Already stout supporters of President Trump and his work on behalf of the American people, they like we knew they had to put their money where their mouth is and that was to take the dive off the high board and into the deep end of the pool.
Ergo, they said ‘farewell’ to the Libertarians with whom they have a kinship to do something to aid the president and to help him continue doing the work of the American people, the patriotic American people that his and our enemies revile, despise, and hate.
I get the fact that leaving the Libertarians was hard because he- like some of other colleagues here at the American Institute of Culinary Politics-Elemental News of the Day- believe that having a strong third party might keep the other two parties in check, as long as it did not side up with the Democrats to pummel the Republicans.
I also get their hesitancy to cross the line because here in California, we Republicans feel as though we are on the outside looking in, that our votes mean little to nothing.
Yet, we still turn out to vote in every election- including the special ones- because we hope deep down in our hearts that one day the majority of our fellow Californians will feel as we do and that is that we must reclaim our state from the godless, immoral, liberal degenerates destroying it through forcing perversion and immorality upon us and I say this as someone who has a gay son[ii] and who is planning on marrying the love of his life next year.
Many of us are beginning to believe that the time might be ripe for reclaiming the state.  Sure, many of us thought that 2018 was going to be a great election cycle for us and in the U.S. Senate, it most certainly was.  We got rid some of truly despicable Democrat senators[iii], as well as some worthless RINOS, but the Dems managed to gain control of the House, mostly because the Republican House members here in California became way too meek and failed to fight hard for their seats as the Democrats STOLE them from them.
The Democrats are always great on message.  Back in 2018, it was ‘we must count every vote’ just as they all say the same things about Donald Trump or whatever Republican they are in pursuit of every single day.  Now, the Dems want to impeach Trump over the release of his letter to the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, one that had he NOT released would cause them to be in pursuit of him, too.
However, I believe (and if I am incorrect, please tell me how I am), that to launch an impeachment against a sitting president, House members MUST take a vote, they must put their names on the record.  Oh, sure, we know there are many Dems and perhaps losers like Justin Amash[iv] who want to get impeachment proceedings going but many of the cowards who won in 2018 here in California are frightened to do so.  I say they should; otherwise, shut the heck up.
It also is clear that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi[v] is afraid.  She knows that should she fail in this enterprise, she will lose both her speakership and her seat because there is a strong campaign to get her out of office growing here in the Golden State.  Copious amounts of cash are being raised in private fundraisers to fund her opponent in November 2020 and Henry and I are heavily involved in that effort.
There also is a petition at Whitehouse.gov for the impeachment of Nancy Pelosi and we encourage everyone to go there and sign that one by visiting <https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petition/impeach-nancy-pelosi-crimes-treason>[vi]  We must begin pushing back on these worthless out-and-out socialists who are going for broke in their effort to take control of the country and to institute socialism upon us whether we want it or not.
Friends, it sure appears as though this week is going to be a busy one so buckle up your seatbelts, prepare for rapid movement, and we will get through it together.  We are going to win California back and we are going to beat the Democrats like the proverbial drum.
I will be back tomorrow at 12:01 a.m.  See you then.

Due to the increasing number of threats and intrusions into our personal lives, we who blog here at the American Institute of Culinary Politics-Elemental News of the Day have engaged the services of local up-and-coming Bakersfield street artist, Simone, to do renderings of us as he sees fit.  I must say that he did an ‘okay job,’ it is what it is and I am fine with that.  Anyhow, I have spent my life working in professional food service and find it an immense joy to be able to come here 1-2 times a year and to share my political opinions and observations with me.  Thank you for joining me, we welcome everyone and invite them to bring their friends, family members, and coworkers/employees with them.

[i] Felix the Cat was a kid’s cartoon show we watched in the 1960s and he always had his bag of magic tricks that would allow him to do most anything.  Look for it on DVD.
[ii] My son plans on marrying his soulmate in April 2020.
[iii] We got rid of losers such as Bill Nelson of Florida, Claire McCaskill of Missouri, along with a few others plus we got rid of two of the worst GOP senators, Little Bob Corker and that flake, Jeff Flake, of Arizona.
[iv] This loser is the lone Republican who became an independent because when he called for the impeachment of Donald J. Trump following the Russian investigation, like Senators Flake and Corker was surprised that the people who elected him did not feel the same as he felt.
[v] The proof of Nancy Pelosi’s fear is the fact that she WON’T call for a vote on the floor of the House to proceed with impeachment articles.  She knows that having her Democrats put their names on the record will doom many of them, not just the ones in the states and districts that Donald Trump won but also in other blue state strongholds because millions of Americans are seething over her corrupt leadership in the House as well as her counterpart in the Senate, Chuckie Schumer.  Many speculate that the loss heading the way of the Democrats in 2020 is going to be worse than their 49-state loss in 1984.  Could devastate them for decades to come.
[vi] Sign the petition, let’s impeach this hag and remove her from office in January 2021.

FEATURED ALBUM OF THE DAY:

On May 04, 1988, the Climax Blues Band released their next album, “Drastic Steps.”  This album was somewhat a hodgepodge of the band’s music, great stuff undoubtedly but music the fans already knew or had heard.  Performing on the album were the following musicians: Pete Haycock (guitars/vocals), Colin Cooper (saxophones/vocals), Derek Holt (bass guitar/keyboards/vocals), Pete Filleul (keyboards), John Cuffley (drums).  We hope you will add it to your growing collection of rock and blues music.

SPECIAL ALBUMS OF THE DAY:

Posted @ the Monday, January 07, 2013 Blog Post:

Mountain released their next archival live album, “Official Live Mountain Bootleg Series #12- Olympic Auditorium, Los Angeles, CA, March 07, 1970” on February 06, 2006.  The band featured Leslie West (guitars/vocals), Felix Pappalardi (bass/keyboards/guitars/vocals/ and production), Corky Laing (drums and percussion), and Steve Knight (keyboards) not long after they had wowed the massive crowd at the Woodstock Music and Art Festival as they swung through Los Angeles, California.  This is great stuff and we encourage everyone to seek it out by visiting whatever site- Amazon.com, All-Music, Discogs, or someone else- and adding it to your collection.  You can thank us later.

Posted @ the Tuesday, September 02, 2014 Blog Post A:

Free released their next ‘best of’ compilation on October 05, 1995, “Songs of Yesterday: AnIntroduction to Free.”  This album featured selections from all the band’s albums, including the post-break-up and reformation albums along with a bunch of other tunes from solo careers, all on FIVE- count them FIVE BIG DISCS.  If you have yet to buy the music of this short-lived but highly influential British band, this is a fabulous way in which to do it so please, seek it out and consider adding it to your collection- you will be glad you did as this is the definitive if not most pricey, collection.  Great music by a unbelievable band.
