SUMMER SESSION 2019

BLOG POST #3,242 AT THE AICP-END

415 DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2020

Jerrold Nadler and like-minded Democrats know they should stop their pursuit of President Trump but simply cannot stop in time to save themselves and their party from looming electoral disaster…
Pasadena, CA 91101, 09-16-2019 Monday:  I am somewhat new to the ‘Republican thing,’ having decided to walk away from the Democratic Party after being among its ranks for far longer than I care to admit following WHAT the Democrats did to and tried to do to now U.S. Supreme Court Associate Justice Brett Kavanaugh.
Some doings are hard to accept and I have never been one to believe that destroying one’s political enemies is the way to go, especially if the ammo being used is dishonest, untrue, and worst of all fabricated.  The Dems on the Senate Judiciary Committee as well as key colleagues in the Senate, all thought it wholly fine and proper to make up a cacophony of falsehoods and lies to tarnish someone of impeccable background, both legal and moral, just to prevent him from making it onto the nation’s highest court.
Since then, I have had no second thoughts, no reservations, no waking up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat, the sheets sticking to my body over my decision to bolt the party.  I felt in my guts that I had done the right thing and when I saw other lifelong Democrats I knew jumping ship, too, I knew we all had something in common: the party to whom we devoted our lives no longer represented us or our needs.
I mean, look at the sheer suicide the Democrats are committing right now.  We are watching Rep. Jerry Nadler, D-NY, a man who so hates our president that even though common sense, warning bells, alarms, and fellow Dems are telling him not to, he is still working at launching a subterranean impeachment of the president with the hopes of taking down someone he detests and despises.
I am sure Mr. Nadler knows in his heart just as I am sure that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has counseled him to be cautious, that sometime next year, President Trump is going to declassify ALL the information the wily Democrats in the previous White House administration, the Justice Department, and Treasury cooked up to remove him on ‘trumped-up charges,’ excuse the pun.
We are seeing the first signs of what is to come what with Andrew McCabe and his attorneys begging the Justice Department to reconsider recalling the grand jury and bringing in the disgraced and fired former assistant director of the FBI back to account for himself and all the lies he spewed out of his mouth.
Most Americans believe that McCabe is but the start of what is going to be a mass of indictments, criminal complaints, and other legal repercussions on every member of the cabal that attempted to remove President Donald J. Trump via a ‘bloodless coup.’
Moreover, I think that McCabe will be given the opportunity to ‘sing for his supper’ and that the boom of justice will swing back around and clobber the disgraced former FBI director, James Comey.  If anything, Comey should accompany his former No. 2 man to prison where they can watch one another’s backs, especially in the shower room.
I suspect, too, that others like James Clapper, John Brennan, Petey Strzok and Lisa Page, Bruce and Nellie Ohr, Glenn Simpson/Fusion GPS, Christopher Steele, Sally Yates, Samantha Power, Loretta Lynch, and loads of others are going to be forced to answer for one of the worst political crimes this country has ever seen: collusion between the Obama administration and its Deep State hacks to overturn an election and to shove a decrepit, angry old Hillary Clinton into the White House.
I am sure that each of these scumbags who self-appointed themselves to be the ‘guardians of the judicial galaxy’ will do their best not to flip on former President Barack Obama but it has become abundantly clear that there is no way in hell that the Obama White House had no clue as to what his henchmen-and-women were up to.
Of course the 44th president knew, if he didn’t and his vice president, the erstwhile Joe Biden seeking the nomination for 2020 was the guiding factor, then shame on Mr. Obama for being so stupid as many believe him now to be.
I used to think that Barack Obama was a great president and a fine man.  That is until Donald Trump won the election and the various schemes, hatchet jobs, exposes, and hits kept on materializing and if anything continued upping the intensity.  From the moment Trump won the election to the present day, members of my party and anti-Trumpers among the GOP have done everything possible to remove a man they revile.
Still, Democrats continue going about the business of NOT doing the work of the American people.  They continue trying to find any shred of evidence with which, they can justify impeachment of the president to the American people.  They go about trying to sort out the various candidates so one of them can go up against President Trump for the honor of being blown out in what will be one of the all-time great electoral victories.
I am not sure why I didn’t see things clearly and much sooner.  I am amazed that I remained a loyal Democrat, albeit a discombobulated one who swallowed the party line and cast my votes.  No more.  The time is now to correct all the errors I made in the past and you can bet I will be working hard to make sure Donald Trump wins a second term.
Thanks for joining me today; we will continue with more tomorrow so make sure you are here.  Wir sehen uns alle morgen, meine Freunde.

FEATURED ALBUM OF THE DAY:

ThClimax Blues Band began in England in the mid-to-late 1960s and featured a powerful, bluesy lineup that featured a two-pronged rock-and-roll attack: Colin Cooper (vocals, guitars, saxophones, and harmonicas) and Pete Haycock (vocals, guitars, bass).  Augmenting the two were Derek Holt (bass guitar, keyboards, vocals), Richard Jones (bass, keyboards, vocals), George Newsome (drums), and Arthur Wood (keyboards).  Originally billed as “Climax Chicago Blues Band,” the group came out of Stafford, UK, having formed in 1968 and began cranking out some of the best rock music the country had ever seen.  Making it big in the U.S. took some time but eventually, they would break through and make it into the big time.  We highly recommend this debut CD from 1969, which bears the full name of the original band, as it is a damned fine addition to anyone’s collection.

SPECIAL ALBUMS OF THE DAY:

Posted @ the Monday, December 24, 2012 Blog Post:

Mountain released their next effort after a hiatus of eleven years, “Go For Your Life,” on March 09, 1985.  The band was somewhat reformed and with a new producer as Gail Collins- the wife of Felix Pappalardi and the woman who did the artwork for the band’s various albums up until now had shot her husband for being unfaithful.  The new lineup was now a power trio of Leslie West (guitars/vocals), Mark Clarke (bass), Corky Laing (drums and percussion).  The album’s artwork and one of the tunes was dedicated to their fallen comrade.  We hope you will seek this album out and consider adding it to your collection as it is as good as ever- hard-rocking music that will blow one’s mind.

Posted @ the Tuesday, August 26, 2014 Blog Post A:

Ian Hunter released his next album, “Dirty Laundry,” on October 10, 1995.  This album found the artist bereft of his main collaborator, guitarist Mick Ronson, but like any good performer, he moved on, damn the ‘torpedoes.’  Joining the vocalist/guitarist/keyboardist were John Plain (guitars), Glenn Matlock (bass), Steve Richie (drums/percussion), Blue Weaver (keyboards), and additional musicians to add to the overall sound.   We love this album and believe that you will, too, so please seek it out, give it a good listen, and consider adding it to your growing album collection- you will be glad you did.
