SUMMER SESSION 2019

BLOG POST #3,224 AT THE AICP-END

433 DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2020

China is not our friend but our enemy…we must treat them as such
Ventura, CA 93001, 08-29-2019 Thursday: Like Chicken Little, many people are running around covering their heads, screaming and wailing that ‘the trade war with China is destroying us, it’s destroying us.  Wah, wah, wah, and wah.’  It’s like what the president recently said: “I am the chosen one” (meaning he is the one who must do battle with the Chinese) ‘so I will be the one to deal with these scumbags’ or whatever exactly it was that he said.
What he means is this: China has been raping our country and numerous others for far too long now, especially since the civilized world allowed the communist bums to join the World Trade Organization, thinking that in so doing, the Chinese would set aside their despotic aims and behave like other world nations, you know- with HONOR.  Well, guess what: they haven’t and had it not been for President Donald Trump, they would be brushing us off as they have through various previous presidential administrations
Still, people are fearful as trade wars can sometimes lead to hot wars, shooting wars, violent conflicts in which, one nation attempts to best another using whatever means at hand.  This is how the United States found itself drawn into World War II because we used trade as a means of strangling Imperial Japan coincidentally for what it was doing to…China- defiling it by waging a war of annihilation.
Some say World War II began the day after World War I ended whereas others claim it began on September 1, 1939, when Nazi Germany stormed into Poland.  I think the honest start date was in 1931 when the Japanese began gobbling up Japan by invading Manchuria and occupying as much of coastal China as they could.
Japan was buying vast quantities of scrap metal from the U.S. so they could produce the necessary weapons of war just as they were buying oil so they could fuel these weapons.  The Japanese understood that without the raw materials and the oil pouring in, they would be unable to continue their conquest of China and that they might have to withdraw, a terrible loss of face in a region of the world in which, face- and honor- are highly valued.
This is how the sneak attack on Pearl Harbor came about.  Japan saw it needed to do something drastic so their idea was to knock out the U.S. Pacific Fleet operating out of Hawaii, and then go for broke as they exploded across the vast Pacific region, knowing it would take the United States sufficient time to be able to hit them back.
In their frenzy, they made it to the gates of India, they attacked the Aleutian Islands, they occupied one Pacific island chain after another, they brought down Dutch Indonesia, British-controlled Malaya and Singapore, Hong Kong, and French Indochina.  They conquered the U.S.-controlled Philippines, Wake Island, Guam, it was a bloody onslaught across and around the Pacific Ocean.
Gradually, we beat them back after entering the war and declaring war on Japan’s Axis allies, Nazi Germany and Fascist Italy, as well as the lesser members like Finland, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, and other sycophantic states and pieces of states.
We drove the Japanese back to the Home Islands as we conquered their other possessions, one by one, or left them to shrivel on the vine as we sidestepped them.  Italy fell out of the war first followed by the Axis partners in the Balkans and finally Nazi Germany itself.  Then, we turned full attention onto Japan but they were nowhere close to giving up and throwing in the towel.  Sadly, it took two nuclear bombs to bring them to the table and an unconditional surrender.
We became the biggest partner and best friend of Germany and Japan as we rebuilt them and much of the rest of the devastated landscape around the world.  We rebuilt them so well that they became economic rivals.
China remained our friend until the sweeping red tide of communism drove the Nationalists to Taiwan.  Mao Zedong became head of China and millions of deaths ensued.  Still, we opened the door to them in 1972 when President Richard M. Nixon, Republican, opened the door and made an official visit to their country.
In the decades since, especially since President Bill Clinton helped Beijing enter the WTO, China has behaved like a criminal enterprise.  Everyone who wants to do business in China MUST share their technology and their secrets just as they do ownership of their companies.  China gradually sucks in one industry after another, making American products cheaper on their soil and then shipping them back to our country at great profit.
They behave like pirates, they coerce, they spy, they rob, and they steal.  Any other ‘competitor nation’ doing this to us would find themselves kicked in the shins and pushed back, pushed back with vigor but not China as no one has wanted to call them out now but instead ignore the danger, like untreated cancer of one’s guts.
The Chinese spy on us, they use their ‘university students’ as spies in the same way the German biking clubs roaming around western Europe and Great Britain prior to World War II were collecting intel, whether it be landmarks or information on power plants, oil fields, shipping hubs, trains, airports, you name it, they were siphoning information and sending it back home.
China wants to control the world by 2050 at the latest and are well on the road there.  We cannot permit this.  Thank God Donald Trump is our president because if it were Hillary, they would be even further on their way.  We cannot allow the Chinese to dominate the world, centuries of ‘civilization,’ yet they are still uncivilized
Thanks for joining me today.  We will continue with more tomorrow.  God bless and be vigilant.
