SUMMER SESSION 2019

BLOG POST #3,222 AT THE AICP-END

435 DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2020

I will believe it when I see it…
Ventura, CA 93001, 08-27-2019 Tuesday:  When you own and operate your own- successful, I should say- restaurant, you have very little time in which to do ‘other things.’  Vacations, time off, sick leave, births, deaths, one takes it as it comes but far too often there is little time left after the 25-26 hours (joking) one spends in the kitchen every day to do anything.
My wife and I do our best to go to church on Sunday but anything else than that, well, it takes second, third, even fourth place in our lives.  However, the one thing we do every weekday is to listen to Talk Radio in the kitchen as it helps pass the time and it educates the employees in need of education in very subtle ways.  It sure beats listening to Mariachi or heavy metal or rap music all day long.
Like millions of Americans, we have followed the attempted takedown of President Trump by the Democrats, the one in which, they wasted millions of taxpayer dollars by having a decrepit old man who can hardly speak ‘investigate the president’ for more than two years, maybe three, for all we know, and who came up with NOTHING.
Furthermore, they have done everything in their power to drag down this duly-elected president and to negate the amazing accomplishments he has engineered over his 2.5-years in office and I am so glad the ‘investigation’ went to HELL in the way in which it did- embarrassingly so.
We cannot live in a country where the Deep State bureaucrats and federal law enforcement spy on a presidential candidate without cause, basically doing everything possible to tie the man to foreign intelligence agents in the service of Vladimir Putin.
The Deep State did this when, in fact, people like James Comey, Peter Strzok, Lisa Page, John Brennan, James Clapper, Samantha Power, Susan Rice, Loretta Lynch, Sally Yates, and all the rest of the hardcore Obamaists in the service of President Barack Hussein Obama were the ones involved in doing the dirty deeds, deeds that embarrass our country both here at home and abroad.
Sean Hannity, afternoon talk show host and host of the Hannity program has long been promising us, along with his subordinates and allies like Craig Jarrett, John Solomon, and others, that key players in the scam that almost destroyed our nation are going to pay the price and be prosecuted for their very numerous crimes.
Literally, three hours a day on radio and then another hour at night on Fox (we have cable TV in the kitchen), he has been telling us, ‘the end is coming and these scurrilous crooks and criminals in the employ of Barack Obama and his underlings are going to be held to account for their crimes.
Mr. Hannity has said this for more than a year and we have awaited the spectacle patiently, awaiting to see bums like Andrew McCabe, Jimmy Comey, Strzok and Page, and the rest of the scalawags involved in this growing scandal heading to court in shackles and manacles so they could account for their numerous crimes and pay the price for them.
Carla Ray said to me the other night, “I will believe it when I see it.”  To that simple comment, I said, “Amen.”  The problem is, NO one believes anyone is going to be held to account for the vast number of crimes the scum working for Barack Obama committed.
How about setting people up, how about destroying their lives, how about causing so much anger, ire, and rage around the country, all of the things that these people have done simply because they hate Donald Trump, his family, and those working for him, these people must be held accountable for their crimes or our country is over, done, finito, kaput, no mas, been there, done that.
I do my best to control my anger every single day but I must say, the longer these mopes go unpunished, the less respect the American people or I are going to have for the law.
Our Constitution depends upon everyone in the country respecting it, revering it, and accepting what the Judicial Branch says when debating the constitutional merits of any given law or crime so as to allow these people to continue popping up on CNN, MSNBC, and the Big Three alphabet channels instead of before a federal judge, people are losing respect for the law and for federal (and state, in some cases) law enforcement.
Becoming a ‘banana republic’ is very much a possibility when ‘the law’ means one thing for one side and something else for the other.  Add to this the damage done to our election system by the Democrats and seeds are being sown that one day will bear foul-smelling, noxious fruit, fruit that will transform our country into one resembling socialist garbage dumps like Venezuela, Cuba, maybe even North Korea, as that seems to be the ultimate goal of the Democratic-Socialist Party in America.
I am glad I am as old as I am.  I fear for my kids and my grandkids, as they will be the ones inheriting the world given them by the American left.  I cannot say what they will do or where they will go but the time is coming for many of us older folks to look into retirement somewhere else.   Staying in a country corrupted by the Democrats is out of the question.
Friends, let me know what you think about the direction in which, the United States is going, because if we fail to fix things over the next two, three, four, or more elections and things continue becoming like California is, what the heck is the point in trying to own and operate a business?  Homeless lazing about outside, dumping on the sidewalks, urinating in the alleyways and out on the streets at night, why are we having to contend with this hell?
Oh, happy birthday to Chef Brian.  We will pick back up tomorrow so make sure you are here and thanks for being a daily reader.  We need YOU.
