SUMMER SESSION 2019

BLOG POST #3,221 AT THE AICP-END

436 DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2020

I’ve said it before and will say it again, God chose Donald Trump to do His bidding here on Earth because the man is flawed…
Ventura, CA 93001, 08-26-2019 Monday:  My wife, Carla Ray, and I are religious people just as we are pragmatic and open-minded to new and sometimes controversial ideas.  We do our best to live by our Christian ideals, give to our church and to various charities in an effort to try to help those in need living in our seaside community.  It seems that homelessness in California is at an all-time high and we hear that in some places such as Los Angeles and San Francisco, the numbers of homeless and downtrodden are off the chart, something that is causing anguish for everyone in the state with the exception of Democratic and RINO politicians.
As someone who became disillusioned with mainstream Republican Party politics back in the spring of 2018 because of President Trump signing a budget that gave the Democrats everything they wanted and more, I felt as though the man for whom I voted, for whom I devoted much effort and time- as well as money- had lied to my face and sold me out.  Then, as time progressed and the attacks on him failed to dissipate I came to understand that the Lord had chosen him to do His bidding on Earth.
Now, you can laugh at me and call me daft.  I understand this is what the left typically does when it comes to matters of spirituality here in the United States.  The left demeans Christianity while talking up Islam and other odd faiths.  They attack people who believe that the Bible is the word of God and that anyone who opposes their increasingly leftist agenda is evil when in truth, THEY are the EVIL ONES in this melodrama.
I wrote a post in which, I said to the readership that I believe God chose Donald J. Trump to do His good works here on Earth because if you know your Bible, you understand that God NEVER chooses someone who has it ‘all together’ to do His work but those who are flawed so they can redeem themselves in His holy service.
For those who laugh and scoff at the Bible, so be it, I understand WHY you are dismissive of something in which so many believe and accept without quibble just as I understand WHY you seek to elevate Islam over Judaism and Christianity all because you loathe the latter two as you love the former one.
What’s more, you know as well as I that were Islam to become the dominant faith in our country and behave as it typically does, that all your liberal ideas such as LGBTQIA+ rights and women’s rights would go out the window.
Yet, in your hatred of us and our religious faith, you continue belittling Christians and Jews while praising Islam and loving dangerous people such as Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib and other equally dangerous and unholy people such as Linda Sarsour and phony religious leaders such as Louis Farrakhan, Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson.
So, who did God choose to do His bidding here on Earth?  The father of the faith, Abraham, someone revered by all three of the major monotheistic faiths had issues with lying.  He was not pure nor was he kind, yet he did the work commanded of Him by God.
God chose Moses to lead His people to the Promised Land yet Moses was a murderer and although he did get God’s people to where they needed to go, he, himself, never set foot upon it and died before entering it.
God chose David, an adulterer who sent the husband- Uriah the Hittite- of the woman with whom he was having a torrid affair, Bathsheba, out to die on an operation from which, he could not survive.
I believe the Lord chose these people to carry out His Works on Earth because they were flawed and not because they all had it ‘together.’  In accepting the tasks given them via whatever means the Lord chose them, they had the opportunity to alter their courses in this lifetime and eventually be with God the Father if they chose so in the next.
Donald Trump obviously is a flawed human being but when it comes to doing the work devout Christians and religious Jews have long sought from elected leaders, there is NO comparison whatsoever my friends.  He is the greatest friend the people of Israel have ever known just as he is of the Christian Right.  When it comes to doing battle with the murderous abortion industry, namely Planned Parenthood, there is no one better.
The upcoming election cycle is one in which, people of conscience and religious faith must stand strong against the liberal left because of their stance on abortion.  Here is what I said in September 2018 on this very topic:
“If a Democrat along the lines of Cory Booker, Kamala Harris, Elizabeth Warren, or some such other far-left Democrat assumes office, not only will the unborn find themselves atop Apothetae [the mountain where the Spartans left the babies undeserving of life] awaiting their meeting with eternity but so will millions of other sick, infirm, elderly, and mentally challenged because this is what socialized medicine does for a country: it allows the government to weed out the ‘undesirable portions’ of its population.”  (McCardle, 07-September-2018)
Don’t laugh my friends, this is precisely what people will face as the liberal left continues chipping away at our rights all the while instilling a culture of death onto the younger people.  I believe this is WHY we now have Donald Trump as our president, a man deeply blemished but who as president is doing the service of God here on Earth.
No matter what I have said, either positive or negative, about President Trump before, it should be clear to everyone- including Never-Trumpers- that there is so much to lose if we sit along the sidelines in 2020 that we will be unable to recognize the resulting country given us by one of the far-left, socialist Democrats should they win the White House.
Thanks for joining me today; we will continue with more tomorrow.  Please, let me know what YOU think.  Thanks and God bless.

FEATURED ALBUM OF THE DAY:

Phil Collins released his next album, “Take a Look at Me Now- the Collection,” on January 29, 2016.  As it sounds, this is a ‘best of’ compilation featuring the crème de la crème of his glorious songs culled from throughout his lengthy career.  The amazing thing about this remarkable musician is that he has his ‘band persona’ and his ‘solo performer persona,’ which allows him to mix all manner of genres, styles, and formats.  We hope you will seek this exceptional effort out by visiting the absolute best site for music in the world- your nearest record shop.

SPECIAL ALBUMS OF THE DAY:

Posted @ the Monday, December 03, 2012 Blog Post:

BLUE CHEER released their next album, the ethereal, acidified “Highlights and Lowlives” on March 17, 1990 and showed the band returning to fresh psychedelic experiences augmented with raw, overwhelming power when necessary.  The band now featured Dickie Peterson (bass/vocals), Paul Whaley (drums), and Duck MacDonald (guitars).  As always, most of the tunes are originals as well as a cover of Willie Dixon’s “I’m a Hoochie-Coochie Man.”  We hope you will seek this album out and consider adding it to your collection of amazing rock and roll.

Posted @ the Friday, August 15, 2014 Blog Post B:

Ian Hunter released his next album, “YUI Orta,” on May 17, 1989.  This album found the artist back with his main collaborator, guitarist Mick Ronson, but it would be short-lived because he had just received a diagnosis of liver cancer.  Joining the vocalist/guitarist/keyboardist were Pat Kilbride (bass), Mickey Currie (drums/percussion), Tommy Mandel (keyboards), and additional musicians to add to the overall sound.   We love this album and believe that you will, too, so please seek it out, give it a good listen, and consider adding it to your growing album collection- you will be glad you did.
