SPRING SESSION 2019

BLOG POST #3,132 AT THE AICP-END

525 DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2020

I agree with Chef Kilgore- something in the skies over much of Central California is not ‘right’
San Luis Obispo, CA, 05-29-2019 Wednesday:  I have to say…the weather in California along the central coastline, as well as over the mountains and in Bakersfield where the home of our blog is located, is mighty strange.  The coast is almost always beautiful, the weather nearly always good but in Kern County, beyond the mountains to the east, the weather there is extremely peculiar.  It has been in the low sixties, high fifties, once in a while, it’s up in the eighties, which is strange, very strange as the people living there typically are dealing with temperatures well into the nineties and over the century mark for 10-15-20 days at a crack.  In short, it’s damned ugly at times.
My colleagues at the blog there have been working on a new project, compiling the daily temperatures, the rainfall, and the numerous chem trails that litter the sky over there.  I will admit, I have been over there and also have been up north close to Sacramento, and the chem trails crisscross the sky yet no one ever asks what the heck is going on in the skies over them?
I am somewhat skeptical about Global Warming-Climate Change-and-now, Extreme Weather, the catch-all phrase for ‘strange weather patterns.’  In fact, I have only written about this topic once in my one-hundred-plus blog posts that I have authored here at the American Institute of Culinary Politics-Elemental News of the Day. Then, and only then, was I critical of those who wield it as a blackjack with which to clobber we little folk over the head into socialist submission.
Now, I know what a blackjack is, although I doubt many of the younger readers do so let me enlighten them.  Back in the day- and I have my pop’s in my desk drawer- soldiers, law enforcement, and street thugs would have leather ‘bags’ sown together with a blob of melted and then cooled lead as the base.  The leather encasement was then sown around the hard metal with a leather thong at the end that the user could use to bash in the heads of those who needed them bashed in- a very good tool if I may say so myself.
Back to the topic at hand, left-wing politicians have learned that most people will not rally around the call of “COMMUNISM” so they must find another, more attractive, sexier siren’s call to rally people to their cause.
Guilt is one of those beautiful tools socialists, fascists, and repressive religions such as Scientologists use for molding spineless people into doing what one wants so if you tell them that THEY or better yet, their parents are destroying the planet upon which they live and hope to grow old, they will do virtually anything you ask of them, even if it means hacking them to pieces using pickax.
The (1) Global Warming crisis, then (2) the Climate Change catastrophe, and now (3) the Extreme Weather calamity  are the battle cries that the leftists use to draw in the young, the dumb, and the ignorant.  Politicians like Methuselah- aka Bernie Sanders- Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, aka Baby Evita, aka AOC, and numerous other losers in between them constantly browbeat and guilt the American people that ‘because of your egregious lifestyles, our planet will not be there when the young people or ‘frontline communities at risk’ (I read the “Green New Deal, thank you) reach their fifties and sixties.’
Now, who would not want to save the planet upon which they live?  I mean, I sure as heck would but I am old enough to remember that we have passed through numerous weather cycles, far too many to remember but remember them we do.  I mean, all one need do is to search out old Farmers’ Almanacs and look at the recorded weather temperatures, it is what it is and what we are undergoing now has happened before.
Not so long ago, my colleague and good friend, Chef Kilgore, wrote a post in which, he said ‘a whole lot of strange stuff is going on in the atmosphere above us and none of it is natural.’  I concur with his outlook.
On May 07, 2019, Chef Kilgore wrote a post in which he said, “something ain’t right.”  I mean, I look at the photos my colleagues have compiled and I am like, “WHY are there hashtags in the sky, letter ‘X’s’ in the sky, even letter ‘A’s’ up above, lines crisscrossing back and forth, back and forth, back and forth; it’s abnormal and it is strange yet no one ever questions it in letters to the editor asking “WTF is taking place overhead?”
Now, no one is complaining about the weather being 20-30 degrees cooler, especially in the southern end of the San Joaquin Valley where excessive heat is the way of life, sometimes from mid-to-late March all the way into late September, early October, even occasionally into early November?  We expect temperatures to soar so when they don’t, we are curious as to what is going on above us?
As Kilgore surmised, whatever is going on, the government is clearly orchestrating whatever it is and feels no compunction about informing we guinea pigs on the ground.  Whether the federal government is the guilty dog doing it or the Smiler in Sacramento is using us as his test subjects, I don’t know.  I just hope we find out before our health and that of our families are altered forever.
Ask questions!  See you tomorrow.

Above, you see the caricature created for me by Bakersfield street artist, the amazing Simone.  We have gone this route because of increasing threats against the blog and its members.  I began my career as a young chef in the kitchen back in 1975, earlier than that.  I apprenticed underneath my father and spent six years working for him in his British-Irish restaurant in Fresno, California.  I later moved to Frazier Park, California, and spent quite a few years working in the area and that is where I met Stinkbug.  Anyhow, I am now working at a country club over on the coast near San Luis Obispo.  Please note: this is my pen name and any photos of me are simply outdated photos adopted for maintaining my privacy.

Formed in London in 1963, the Yardbirds were among the first bands to explode onto the rock scene and with good reason to do so.  Their first album, “Five Live Yardbirds” came out on December 31, 1964.  The band featured Keith Relf (vocals, harmonica and percussion), Eric Clapton (lead guitar/vocals), Chris Dreja (rhythm guitar), Paul Samwell-Smith (bass/ backing vocals), and Jim McCarty (drums/ backing vocals).  Every song at this time was a cover, featuring some blues tunes as well as Chuck Berry songs the Brits would make super-famous.  We love this album and we know that you will, too, so please seek it out and add it to your collection.
