WINTER SESSION 2019

BLOG POST #2,987 AT THE AICP-END

670 DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2020

Wouldn’t it be nice if Democrats and Republicans could agree on protecting our nation from harmful outsiders?
Oildale, CA, 01-04-2019 Friday: We announced the winner of the First Annual Lavrentiy Beria Award yesterday and the world is still turning, no one has died, people are not running amok in the streets, and life goes on as it should and will.  Following the death of Newman, California, police corporal Ronil Singh, thanks to Sacramento’s misguided sanctuary state policies, there was no doubt in the minds of a majority of voters as to whom was going to win the sought-after prize.  However, it is a shame that a police officer had to lose his life on Christmas in order for now-former Governor Jerry Brown and then- and still-current state Attorney-General Xavier Becerra to grab the hankered-after flagship award.

There should be no ‘sanctuaries’ anywhere in any nation in which, law enforcement and elected politicians put the ‘rights’ of noncitizens ahead of those whom they take an oath to serve and protect: legal citizens and people becoming citizens.   Yet, we have an entire state and numerous locales across the country that put the nonexistent rights, other than what the Constitution guarantees them, ahead of citizens.  It is madness.
Unfortunately, this is where we now reside, folks, this side of crazy.  We live in crazy ville as a country.  We have politicians who so loathe our country that they want to seed it with people who are proven not to assimilate, who will break not only laws regarding coming across the borders illegally but who will thieve identities, who will NOT cooperate with law enforcement, and who will cause havoc among us.
It is not racist to note that many of these people come from nonwhite countries, it is a fact.  No longer being mostly Mexicans, now it is people from Central America, China, the Middle East, and Africa who seek to penetrate our borders, settle here, have some kids so they have an anchor keeping them from being ousted, and to live off the diminishing fat of the land.

It is not racist to point out that these people bring violence with them, either being prey or predators, it is not racist to note that without an orderly process of entry and exit as we had with Ellis Island or with the Bracero Program, we are seeing diseases we have either banished from beyond our borders or have long eradicated, yet here they are, once again.
I do not wish these people ill, I do not want to see them harmed but our nation lacks the ability to absorb the world’s excess population, no matter how much the liberal leftists believes it can or should.  Why should we?  It is not our duty to do so yet the leftists call us names if we stand against it.  Globalism does not work unless everyone is more or less on the same page, which much of the Third World is not.
Not until we see everyone rise to the level of where we reside and throw off their old violent ways like bloody jihad or female genital mutilation or stops with child brides and other outrageous activity can we welcome in newcomers.  It simply cannot work until the world becomes as enlightened as we are.
I hope before I grow too old to continue here at the blog that members of both major political parties can find common ground and stop using illegal immigration as the club with which to pummel the other.  Let us return to putting the American people first and doing what is best for them and not for people living in the middle of Guatemala, El Salvador, or Honduras.
Let us instruct the younger generations that protecting one’s borders is not evil, racist, or bigoted.  Let us ask our counterparts on the other side of the aisle to stop sowing dissension, to stop filling heads with mindless muck, to stop indoctrinating new generations of fascists and socialists.  The only way the United States can aid other countries is if we ourselves are strong and able to provide help so that it does not bankrupt us.
We have historic examples that demonstrate what can happen when a nation-state tries to welcome in the world.  The Roman Empire tried to spread their culture throughout the known world via Pax Romana, transforming the people around the Mediterranean, central and northern Europe, Britain, North Africa, and down to the Red Sea into clones of the greatest culture the world has ever known.  It did not work.
Likewise, we cannot make other countries and regions of the worlds resemble us.  What we can do is to provide them with necessary examples so that they have something upon which, to build, to establish secure governmental institutions, to provide liberty and justice for all and not despotism in the form of socialism, communism, or fascism.
I would love to see the world rise to the occasion just as I would love to see the United Nations get off its big duff and do something good for the world instead of being a place for Third World thugs and dictators to vociferously attack the United States, all the while holding their clutching paws out, awaiting the next donation of cash and resources.
I would love to see the Democrats and the Republicans unite to protect the American people, to help us rise to the next level so our economy is self-sustaining and so that every American can participate in the wealth generated by our fabulous country.  Then, and only then can we aid people who lack what we have but welcoming them in when our country is struggling to keeps it head above water is insane and will have disastrous consequences.
Thanks for joining me today, folks.  I have two more days to go and then my wife and I will be headed for the British Virgin Islands for a much-needed rest.  I thank you for joining me today and throughout the past week-and-a-half, without you, I would be lonely.
Let’s pray for the wellbeing of our country.  See you tomorrow.  Shalom.

Wishbone Ash (BACKTRACK- one we left out of the proper rotation) released a collection of live tracks on April 30, 2007, “Tracks,” that included classic cuts, newer tunes, and other gems from the band’s historic career.  If you have yet to introduce the music of this outstanding British band to your ears, this is an excellent way in which to do it.  We hope you will use the link so you can visit Amazon.com where you can pick it up in the format, the condition, and the price that works best for you- you will be glad you did.

SPECIAL ALBUMS OF THE DAY:

Posted @ the Thursday, April 12, 2012 Blog Post:

Suffering from lack of success and a changing music scene, Moby Grape’s remnants released their final effort of their first go-round, “Truly Fine Citizen,” on July 30, 1969.  The band now consisted of Jerry Miller (lead guitar/vocals), Don Stevenson (drums/vocalsPeter Lewis (guitars/vocals), and hired gun, Bob Moore (bass/vocals).  A definite country feel to the music, one song stood out above all, an unnoticed gem but well worth the price of admission, “Now I Know High” by Lewis.  An astonishing tune and a fine album, we encourage everyone to use the link we provide you here so you can zip on over to the world’s greatest online marketplace, Amazon.com.  Once there, you can pick it up in the format, price, and condition you like.  We thank you.
Posted @ the Sunday, May 04, 2014 Blog Post B:

The Jeff Beck Group released its next effort on May 01, 1972, the self-titled, “Jeff Beck Group.” The lineup remained the same with Jeff Beck (guitars/vocals), Bobby Tench (vocals and rhythm guitar), Clive Chaman (bass), Cozy Powell (drums) and Max Middleton (keyboards).  Critics hammered the album, which was sad because the man and his band soared above the competition.  We love this album and highly recommend it to all fans of the man, his band(s), and of the time.  Please, seek it out at your favorite dealer of CDs and LPs, we urge you to do it now.
