SPRING SESSION 2018

BLOGPOST #2,773 AT THE AICP-END

ONE HUNDRED-AND-FIFTY-FIVE DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2018

Coming to Oildale makes me happy to go back home to SLO
San Luis Obispo, CA, 06-04-2018 Monday: Hello, welcome, good morning and all that jazz.  I always love coming over to Bakersfield from beautiful San Luis Obispo where I live and work as it always makes me thankful for what I have when I return home.  Unlike San Louie, beautiful all year-round, Bako can be hot, ugly, and damned unattractive.  Every place has its specialties such as San Louie has Bubblegum Alley, one of the doggone strangest places to visit.  Decades ago, people began smearing their used chewing gum on the wall and over the years, it has built up to a point where there is no place like it other than cities such as Paris where so-called ‘love locks’ clutter up the Pont des Arts.
Oildale, California, home of our two blogs has its own customs and traditions.  Where we have Bubblegum Alley, Oildale has its inebriated, toothless crack heads and drunks, something to see, scattered all over Old Oildale, not what they call “Royal Dale” where newer homes reside.  Do not misunderstand me, folks, I love coming to Oildale but am always glad to be able to return home to cool and breezy San Louie.
I want to thank my dear and good friend, Mo, who did one heck of a week last week, our numbers here at the blog continue going up like a weather balloon, I guess we can thank the outreach to our Russian, Hispanic, and Hebrew friends, as Rollie and Chef Z have taken us in a new and exciting directions.  We can also thank our chef-bloggers for putting their all into writing posts full of all manner of exciting and informative opinions.  I hope I can do them honor and keep the ball rolling forward.
Politics continue unabated, my friends, what with the left refusing to give up on this ‘Russian thing,’ you know, trying against all odds, using up every last drop of hope on somehow toppling President Donald J. Trump, negating the 2016 Presidential Election, and then appointing Hillary “Crybaby” Clinton to the office to which, they worked so hard.
I do not think anything bad is going to come out of this ‘investigation’ and if anything, I suspect it is going to boomerang back around onto the snarling, sniveling Democrats.  I think that unless the lying losers are careful, some of them such as senile James Clapper, the conniving evil James Bond villain wannabe John Brennan (communist), the lying string bean James Comey, and others of this duplicitous cell are going to be wearing orange jumpsuits soon.
The bums cannot even get their stories straight, they contradict one another to the point that it makes Elizondo and me do doubletakes every time we hear Comey trying to clean up Clapper’s messes.
It is almost as if the former FBI director needs a ‘clap-on, clap-off’ for Mr. Clapper as that befuddled fool sits on left-wing shows saying stuff that might end up causing him to float upside down in the nearest aqueduct- I do not think the other conspirators including Barack Obama want to go to jail for this Alzheimer’s stricken old fool.
Meanwhile, President Trump is on a roll.  I used to cringe when I would listen to NBC morning news as things always sounded so dire, it was as if the President had no clue as to what he was doing.  When Elizondo turned off the television and we just listened to Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, and other talk radio stalwarts such as Mark Levin that I felt much better about what was going on and how good things were becoming.
Like many other businesses, we welcomed the tax cuts as it allowed us to bless each of our employees with anywhere from $200 bonuses for new hires to $1,000 or more to employees who have been with us for 15-20 years or longer.  Everyone saw their wages go up an average of 5-10-percent and there were no dry eyes in the house when we informed them of the good news.
For anyone who claims California is a ‘lost cause,’ I seriously dispute their assertions.  People in California are awakening to the fact that liberals truly do NOT have our best interests at heart.  The fact that the indigent, the homeless, and the addicted can clutter our doorways, defecate in the alleyways, panhandle up and down the streets, and break into our homes and businesses with very little to stop them has everyone on edge
I am telling you, tomorrow is Primary Election Day here in California and even though we who live and love San Louie and its ‘liberal ways’ do not want that little moron, Gavin Newsom (adulterer) or the former mayor of Los Angeles Antonio Villaraigosa (another adulterer) in the governor’s mansion in Sacramento.  We want John Cox and as many Republicans as we can elect.  Let us see what happens tomorrow.
Like used chewing gum, stick to me this week.  We are going to have one heck of a time.  Vote Republican tomorrow, throw out every Democrat you can, and let us make California GREAT again!  See you mañana.

SPECIAL ALBUMS OF THE DAY:

Sunday, September 11, 2011 Blog Post:

The next album by the Grateful Dead was another live album, one featuring an acoustic side and an electric side.  Entitled, “History of the Grateful Dead, Vol. 1—Bear’s Choice,” yet another fine addition to the growing live discography of the band.  The album features Pigpen on three cuts—two of them smoking electric tunes such as “Smokestack Lightning” and “Too Hard to Handle” and a solo acoustic tune, “Katie Mae.”  The band is in fine form and the “Bear” in the title, is their sound-and-light man and creator of the finest LSD on the planet, Augustus Owsley Stanley III.  We urge you to seek this CD out by using the link we provide you here, so you can go to Amazon.com and pick it up in the format, the condition, and the price that is right for you—you will be glad you did.

In February 1969VanillFudge released their fourth effort, “Near the Beginning.”  For those of us from the OLD DAYS, you know, with decades of experience prior to Maroon Five and chicks who use ONE name, the 1960s, the Fudge does one hell of a cover of “Shotgun” by Jr. Walker and the All Stars.  Now, if you have no clue as to what we are talking about, use the link we provide you here, so you can go to Amazon.com.  Once there, you can pick it up in the format, the condition, and at the price that works best for you.  Please, check it out- this band is phenomenal.
