SPRING SESSION 2018

BLOGPOST #2,774 AT THE AICP-END

ONE HUNDRED-AND-FIFTY-FOUR DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2018

PRIMARY ELECTION DAY 2018 CALIFORNIA

Republicans, unhappy Democrats, and independents, time to take our state BACK from the criminal Democrats trashing our state
San Luis Obispo, CA, 06-05-2018 Tuesday: Today is Election Day in California, Primary Election Day.   This is a day in which, Californians hope to reclaim their state from the Democrats running it into the ground.  We want to reclaim it for California citizens and not for the mobs of illegal aliens whom our elected leaders seem to put their hopes upon so they will remain dependent and will vote Democrat until we return to Mexico.
The Democrats believe they are in the clear, that NO one can displace them, defeat them, or drive them from power.  Sadly, I believe they are mistaken as like all fat cat politicians who do not pay attention to the citizen voters, they have no clue as to the massive tsunami headed their way.  If you put your ear to the ground, you can hear the waters receding before they roar back in and swamp Sacramento with a Biblical-style rectal cleansing.
As you know, we have numerous choices for governor with two major Republicans going toe to toe.  John Cox is the ONLY choice we have for governor as the other challenger, Assemblyman Travis Allen, leaves much to be desired.  He suffers from being tainted with leftist-style leanings such as giving illegal aliens driver’s licenses and automobile insurance at taxpayer cost.  This is not Republican nor is it good.
For the post of lieutenant-governor, there is only one candidate we can choose, Cole Harris, a conservative businessman, family man, and stalwart Republican.  There are several others but I will cast my vote for Cole.
For the position of secretary-of-state, we must choose election law attorney (as God knows we need one in this highly important position), Mark P. Meuser.  For controller, we must go with Konstantinos Roditis just as we must go with Greg Conlon for treasurer.
In the extremely critical position of attorney-general for the state of California, I am going to vote for Eric Early.  We must rid our state of the highly suspect Xavier Becerra, the man is ‘in’ with the illegal alien faction seeking to return our state to the greasy clutches of Mexico.  He never met an illegal alien he did not like and he seeks to punish every city, town, or county seeking to go against the state’s notorious sanctuary state policies.
For insurance commissioner, there is but one choice, Steve Poizner who has done the job before and can do it again.  The man is a strong conservative Republican, something we desperately need if we are going to make our state ‘golden again.’  The Dems want to impose a single-payer health care system on the people of the state, something for which, they know they cannot pay; yet, the loonies want to do it anyway.  Enough!
A lesser post but still an important one is the member for the State Board of Equalization (the tax collector) for the 2nd District.  There is but one Republican in a field of four, three of whom are leftist Democrats seeking to deplete the vote so TWO Dems can face one another in November.  My vote goes to realtor/businessman Mark Burns.
The United States senate race is a ‘cluster-****,’ which I will never say as I try to be both a lady and a good Christian- unlike Samantha Bee.  Dianne Feinstein is in the race of her life with the little schlemiel, Kevin De Leon, California state senator and leader of that body.  We must instead throw our votes to Republican Tom Palzer, he is the only one with enough chutzpah to give the Democrats a good smackdown.
In the race for the U.S. House of Representatives 24th California District, we must vote out our current congressional representative, Salud Carbajal.  We must instead elect Michael Erin Woody, a good Republican, to face Carbajal in November unless, of course, Woody’s Republican opponent for the same seat, Justin Fareed can come in Number Two.  Now that would be something.
For the 35th Assembly District in California, we must re-elect Republican Jordan Cunningham.  Democrat challenger Bill Ostrander is making a good go of it but I am confident we can keep the seat RED and not allow it to go BLUE.  Folks, if you are in my district, this is for whom, we must vote.
For the judgeship for Superior Court Office #2, I will vote for Deputy District Attorney Andy Cadena to unseat current occupant of the office, Hernaldo Baltodano.  For judge of the Superior Court Office #4, I will vote for Tim Covello.  For superintendent of public instruction, all we can do is to vote for Marshall Tuck- again.  For county superintendent of schools, I will vote for incumbent James Joseph Brescia.
Local races are as follows: Assessor: David Boyer.  The local auditor-controller, et al, the vote goes to James W. Hamilton.  Tommy Gong should remain the county clerk-recorded while I will vote for Judge Mike Cummins to become the next district attorney for San Luis Obispo County.  Finally, I will vote for Ian S. Parkinson to remain our sheriff.
Proposition 68- I will vote NO.  Proposition 69: vote YES.  Proposition 70: while I hate cap-and-trade, finding it to be little more than smoke and mirrors, I will vote YES so, the state government cannot rip off the fund unless there is a supermajority vote, which I guess the scumbags already have.
As for Proposition 71, vote YES.  Finally, Proposition 72, vote YES.  As for local Measure B-18, which imposes a 10-percent gross tax on marijuana business receipts, if we are going to permit this crap, then we should make as much money off it that we can while driving the cartels and other thugs associated with growing dope and driving up the cost of housing as much as we can.
As you can see, I am a registered Libertarian so why am I not voting ‘Libertarian?’  Well, figure it out, with the top two vote getters facing off for each position, there is not a single Libertarian Party candidate who can win- anything.  Besides, I am a member of the party more as a protest against the other two than I believe the party can truly win.  It will require something so monumental for it be capable of winning, I have no clue as to what it could be.
CALIFORNIANS: VOTE!  We can save our state.  I will see you tomorrow at both blogs so make sure you join me at both.

Deep Purple released a great show from 1974, captured on blue-ray disc, “California Jam- Live in California 1974,” in 2005.  This DVD version of an earlier album featured the famed ‘Mk. III’ lineup of David Coverdale (vocals), Glenn Hughes (bass and vocals), Ian Paice (drums), Richie Blackmore (guitars), and Jon Lord (keyboards) doing what they do best: performing the tunes that made them monster stars around the world and doing them for an outdoor concert as one of the headliners.   This is a variation of the album we shared with you yesterday.  Please, use the link we provide you here, one that whisk you away on a magical, digital carpet, which will take to you one place and one place only: Jeff Bezo’s Amazon.com.  Once there, you can pick the CD up in the format that works best for you- you can thank us later.

FEATURED ALBUM OF THE DAY:

SPECIAL ALBUMS OF THE DAY:

Monday, September 12, 2011 Blog Post:

The first post-Pigpen album by the Grateful Dead, “Wake of the Flood,” (1973) marked a distinct change in the sound of the band.  Pigpen had recently died, leaving a big gaping hole in the band because in the beginning, he was the principal front man of the group, performing tunes that might go on for a half-hour or longer.  Gone were his organ and harmonic as well as his bluesy voice and in his place, Keith Godchaux, and his piano as well as wife, Donna’s voice, became prominent and in fact, the one-and-only tune by Keith was on this album.  “Let Me Sing Your Blues Away” was a good song, marking a different path for the group.  Other instruments such as a fiddle appeared for the first time and Garcia and Weir divided the songwriting duties.  Side 2 contained a lengthy tune by Bobby, “Weather Report Suite,” which was astounding.  This is a great album and one we urge our readership to own so please, seek it out at Amazon.com by using our link so you can get it in the format, the condition, and the price that is right for you—you will be so glad you did.

Tuesday, November 05, 2013 Blog Post:

In September 1969VanillFudge released their fifth effort, “Rock and Roll.”  Once again, the band had the same lineup of  Mark Stein (keyboards/vocalist), Carmine Appice (drums/vocals), Tim Bogert (bass/vocals), and Vince Martell (guitars/vocals).  This was the final studio effort by the band before breaking up a year later.  It is a worthy album to own so why not use the link we provide you here, so you can embark on a digital journey to Amazon.com.  Once there, you can pick it up in the format, the condition, and the price that rocks your socks.
