THE AMERICAN INSTITUTE OF CULINARY POLITICS-ELEMENTAL NEWS OF THE DAY COMMENTARY-OPINION-SPORTS-FOOD SERVICE FOR FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 23, 2018 BY CHEF BRIAN C. CARRICK

WINTER SESSION 2017-18

BLOGPOST #2,672 AT THE AICP-END

TWO HUNDRED-AND-FIFTY-SIX DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2018

I’m glad my mother is long gone as she would find current events shocking
Bakersfield, CA, 02-23-2018 Friday:  I am going to say something today that most likely will shock the living heebie jeebies out of you and those who know me well- I am glad that MY mother is DEAD.  There, I said it, something most people might take offense at my saying, but I had to say it because it is true.  Let me explain to you my reasons WHY I am glad that mom is gone and that I am the one left carrying the family name along with my brother.
If my mother were still alive, the ongoing disclosure of more and more information detailing how deep the Deep State, the Obama administration and its holdovers, and much of the press was willing to go to destroy Donald J. Trump.  We are only now peeling away, layer by layer as we would the skin of a stinky yellow onion, the attempted coup d’ êtat was against Donald Trump both before and after the election.
The liberals have screamed, “THE RUSSIANS DID IT, THE RUSSIANS DID IT AND DONALD TRUMP COLLUDED WITH THEM AND THEN HE OBSTRUCTED JUSTICE.  HE IS EVIL, AND WE MUST REMOVE HIM ASAP!”  Yikes!
Now, as news continues spilling out, we learn that it was not Donald Trump colluding with the Russians, but the Democrats led by President Barack Hussein--“I love the sound of the call to Muslim morning prayer”—Obama.
Aiding him in this crooked endeavor were members of his administration, the media, and the Hillary Clinton campaign as well as numerous Democrats who set up this entire malodourous scenario to topple Trump and to push Hillary to victory.
Yes, I am glad that my mom is gone, that she now rests in an urn in the entrance hall.  If she were alive, she would find all these events to be shocking, shocking to the point that it might have given her a heart attack.
The poor woman died three weeks after Barack Obama finagled a second term out of the unwitting voters by beating lackluster Mitt Romney.  That was too much for her as she could not see how the worst president in American history EVER could have won a second term without ‘the fix’ being in.
I love my mother, but I am glad she now resides in a far better place than this shithole in which, we live, a shithole in which, the Democrats play by their own rules all the while demanding that everyone else obey the law, precedence, and whatever their phony baloney political correctness demands they do.
Mom would be shocked that even an insignificant president such as Barack Obama would go to the depths that he apparently did, aided by the goons lurking within his administration, by the doddering old hag, Hillary Rodham Clinton, a deranged woman who believed that 2016 was HER year, and by the scumbag news media that is only too happy to collude with the Russians to cause trouble.
We now know that the ‘grassroots protest rallies’ against President-elect Donald Trump were not ‘grassroots protest rallies’ but ones orchestrated by the Russians through operatives in Leningrad working through American social media.
With a grubstake of a couple million dollars or less, the Russians wreaked havoc on the American people, the political process, and has put already volatile citizens at one another’s throats.  Amazing.
Again, I would say my mom would be appalled by this entire attempt at undermining the United States of America, especially since the effort received aid from American citizens, colluding with or without knowledge that their inevitable paymaster was Vladimir Putin, former KGB thug now ruling his country like a despot.
Friends, I am glad my mom is gone, I do not think I would have been able to make her feel positive ever again.  Knowing that America came this close to a meltdown and that it still might be possible as the media is like rabid dogs gnawing at moldy bones, there would be no way to reassure her to the point that she could maintain hope for the future of the country.
How has our country been so stupid?  How have so many Democratic politicians, a devious 44th president, a failing political campaign, and the media—charged with reporting honest news and holding truth to power, done everything in their power to tear our country apart.
I don’t know what to say, mom, I truly don’t other than that we have narrowly survived a leftist coup.  God help us, God protect our President, God bless you, mom—I love you and am glad you are where you’re at.
See you tomorrow.
