WINTER SESSION 2017-18

BLOGPOST #2,673 AT THE AICP-END

TWO HUNDRED-AND-FIFTY-FIVE DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2018

Debt collectors are the scum of the world
Bakersfield, CA, 02-24-2018 Saturday:  Have you ever been troubled by a dogged debt collector, one that has it out for you, one such as Diversified Consultants—a shadowy group to be sure—with several offices around the United States?  According to these unsavory bottom-feeders, they specialize in people who have debts connected to communications and media accounts and they seemingly will rag someone unlike others who may give up after a month or two, these sword-swallowing scumbags will pursue an unfortunate victim for months.   They are the modern-day equivalent of a case of never-ending anal herpes.
A friend of mine recently related a story to me about a family member of hers who had the unfortunate misadventure that brought these teabaggers (in the negative sense) calling them around the clock.  I asked her what the story was, so I could write about it and then publish it.  This is what she told me:
Approximately 17 years ago, her son became involved with an atrocious woman, a lowlife who loved spending money, especially if it wasn’t hers.
Moreover, her son would receive credit card offers in the mail and even credit cards sent from unscrupulous retailers to which, the skank girlfriend would either fill out, send back and receive a card or take the one sent in the mail and go out and charge it up—without the son knowing anything about it.
His girlfriend was so frigging ignorant that the ho-bag would call psychics for advice and rack up phone bills of $500-$1,000 or more for one month until he shut down the line, found the money to pay them off, and then eventually parted ways with the trailer park trash.
Now, I believe all of us when were young had some horrible relationships as that is what young men typically do, the power of poontang is greater than their common sense and so they enter relationships with crack whore chicks who either put them in debt or become knocked up and then keep them on the hook for 18 years in child support payments.
Granted, we do our best to teach our kids common sense before they leave home, but it is what it is, and it is only getting worse.
Well, her son was buying a birthday cake for his mother one day back in 2003 and the clerk behind the counter said his card was no good and handed him a number the business phone.  Puzzled, he said, ‘hello,’ and a denizen of the dump on the other end told him that he had frozen the son’s accounts and would keep them that way unless he told them where such-and-such was or made the debt right.
The son angrily said he did not know the person he was being asked to finger, which he didn’t.  He suspected who it was, but the name given him was not her name, so he could do nothing but say he didn’t know this woman.
Nevertheless, the scumbag on the other end threatened him with ‘all manner of legal action unless he complied’ but the son stood his ground and told the debt collector that if he did not release his accounts within the next 15 minutes, he would hand the matter over to his lawyer.
Needless for me to say, the credit collection hack believed he had the son by the balls, so he did not unfreeze his debts.  Since the young man worked in a legal office, he handed it off to one of the junior attorneys who, anxious to make a name for herself and to bust some chops, launched a lawsuit that ended up putting a hefty sum into the pocket of the son as the debt collector overstepped his bounds.
The son, restricted by a nondisclosure agreement, which still has another five years on it could not go into detail.  However, his story does not end there.
Over the course of the past 15 years, he has had calls from as many as 11 different debt collectors all seeking the same worthless person, the one he does not know but if he did he swears he would hand over in a heartbeat as Judas did our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Each relentless moron blusters and threatens him with all manner of punishments and penalties, telling him that if he does not comply they will come after him
It has driven him to the point that he tells them to drop to their knees and give him some good old-fashioned head.  When women call, they quickly hang up and give up the pursuit and when men call, some of them sound as though they would love to give him the requested hummer.
Anyhow, things went quiet until last September when a new company began hounding him.  This time around, however, he was prepared.  He had three home phone numbers, one of them a VOIP number as well as a couple of cellphones.  He also had placed his phones on the federal do-not-call registry.
His message on the phone was very specific: leave your full name, a legitimate callback number, and a detailed message and someone will either pick up or will call you back.
Sadly, the person(s) on the other end were either too frigging stupid to comprehend the simple message or in the state of California had to have someone pick up so they could immediately go into bullying and threatening mode for which, this human fecal matter is so famous.
Well, if you won’t leave a message, he won’t pick up nor will his family, they just use one of the other telephones or their cellphones while turning the ringer off.  This went on for about two months without stop so he decided to call each of the following numbers to determine who was calling him:
(1)  661-709-3042 (2) 661-370-3122 (3) 661-370-3260 (4) 661-370-3123 (5) 661-370-3250 and (6) 661-370-3264.   (This is the location address for the main office- Diversified Consultants, 10550 Deerwood Park Blvd., #309, Jacksonville, FL, 32256 (Business Phone Number: (800) 771-5361.  They have other offices in other parts of the country, as well.
He called each of these numbers and when someone picked up on the other line, he asked what their business was, and they coyly asked, ‘what his phone number was.’  He knew immediately what sort the company was and called back until they gave him the company name: Diversified Consultants.
We will conclude our story tomorrow, my friends, so please join me and I will tell you what he has done about this situation.
See you then.

On May 11, 1983, Foghat released its next effort, “Zig-Zag Walk.”  This would be the final studio effort until the original lineup would reform in 1994.  The lineup was the same as the previous two: ----“Lonesome” Dave Peverett (rhythm guitarist/vocalist), Craig MacGregor, (bass/backing vocals), Roger Earl (drums and percussion), and Erik Cartwright (lead-slide guitar).  The band was now adding a hillbilly rock sound to their blues rock formula seeking to rekindle interest in the flavor of the old band, but fans were moving on to the 1980s techno-pop sound that drove most serious music fans insane.  We recommend this CD as it is a fine one and the fact that few bands from the ‘old days’ were still around makes this effort that much more special.  Please use the link we provide you here, so you can go to Amazon.com and pick it up there in the format, the condition, and the price that works amazingly best for you at the world’s greatest online marketplace.  We thank you for your patronage.
