Have California Democrats forgotten the lesson the recall of Governor Gray Davis taught them? It seems that way but levy a tax on drinking water and you will see it again—for ALL of them

SUMMER SESSION 2017

BLOGPOST #2,500 AT THE AICP-END

THREE HUNDRED-AND-ONE DAYS AFTER ELECTION DAY

California once was a wonderful place in which, to live whereas now, well, the Democrats have RAPED it
Shafter, CA, 09-05-2017 Tuesday:  You know, I have lived in numerous states on the West Coast, from Alaska to Hawaii, from California to Oregon to Washington, and back again.  I have lived in Los Angeles, I have lived in San Francisco, I have lived in Portland, I have lived in Anchorage, I have lived in Mukilteo, I have lived in Monterey, and now I live in Shafter, the place where I will eventually retire.
Back in the 1970s, California was a glorious place, a land of opportunity, lots of jobs, amazing careers, and wages the likes of which, few other states ever have equaled.  I made money, I lost money, I found love, I lost love, and now, I am happily married to a wonderful woman who says, “EC, we need to get the hell out of the state and go somewhere else—maybe Texas or Arizona!”
She says this because Governor Jerry Brown—a Democrat—someone for whom both my wife, Deb, and I voted because we thought he would resemble what he was when he was the governor the first time, way back when.
Everything in state government revolves around ‘resisting President Donald J. Trump.’  The President removed the United States from the Paris Climate Change Accords, which has ‘forced’ Governor Brown to take it upon himself to be the NEW leader in the fight against ‘global warming.’
President Donald Trump pulls the USA out of the Trans-Pacific Partnership and Governor Jerry Brown takes it upon himself to wheel and deal on various contracts and agreements with foreign nations so he can make himself the ‘go-to guy’ for doing business around the Pacific Rim.
What’s more, our esteemed governor (I am being fictitious) seeks to tax everything he can so he can continue spending money on the Ponzi schemes we call (1) high-speed rail and (2) the public employee union’s retirement program.  Neither of these two schemes is solvent nor will they ever be and yet, our governor seeks to pull the wool over our eyes with new taxes, fees, charges, and outright theft.
Our state government—located in Sacramento—now has a plan to tax water usage in the state by a fee of $0.95 per month or so they say—but we know that taxes never remain LOW.
Senate Bill (SB 623) would levy this charge of just under a buck per month to help control water usage as well as to protect our state from ever becoming like Flint, Michigan, where years of crooked and corrupt government allowed the city’s water supply to become poisoned.
We know that since our state government always seeks ways to raise larger and larger sums of money so they can pay the FULL retirement packages Sacramento offers its employees as well as to fund the building of the unnecessary choo-choo train, our legislators will do whatever they can to slather taxes on the middle class and wealthy.
As though that is not bad enough, the government forces us to provide for free water, energy, food, and whatever else Sacramento dictates we must, not only for the lower classes but for the illegal aliens flooding into our state.  Where does it stop?
All I can say is that it is enough to make a voter become a conservative.  I guess Governor Brown and his henchmen-and-women have forgotten the lesson the recall of Governor Gray Davis should have taught EVERYONE.
The lesson his recall inflicted on state politicians is that a governor or an administration as well as an assembly and state senate is not beyond the anger of the people they supposedly represent.
Republicans have long been in decline in this state but at what point do voters arrive at critical mass and explode, expelling all the crooked and slime ball, gasbag Democrats and their RINO allies out of office?
They think it will never happen but you know what?  If I can support President Donald Trump so can I vote for a Republican for governor and what is more, I am not the only one saying this—a tidal wave of rebuke is coming and it is going to hit the Democrats like Hurricane Harvey, except that NONE of us will rush to their aid.
No, we want to see ALL of them swept out to sea and California to become ‘great again,’ like it was when I was a kid.  It was great and we can make it great again; first, we need to teach the diabolical Democrats a lesson they will remember for decades.
Thanks for joining me today, amigos, please let me know what YOU—the highly valued reader thinks of my bold and prophetic statements.  Gracias.
Dios te bendiga!
