SUMMER SESSION 2017

BLOGPOST #2,483 AT THE AICP-END

TWO HUNDRED-AND-EIGHTY-FOUR DAYS AFTER ELECTION DAY

There is more to the story as to how the United States formed than any of the little Twinkies running around trashing statues and beating people know
Oildale, CA, 08-19-2017 Saturday:  This has been my first week back since way before the election of last year and I must say, the things we see going on in this nation are extremely disturbing, there are so many ill-informed people who fire off hate speech while thinking that what they are saying is the bona fide truth.  Sad for them because it is bull crap.
What amazes me is how ignorant the younger generations are.  Yeah, I know, I am sure that I have hurt the feelings of some simplistic snowflakes who believe that Barack Obama was the GREATEST president the world had ever seen and that the Democrat Party has their best interests at heart.  What a tragic load of cow crap!
The Democrat Party is the party of oppression, they are the ones who formed the Ku Klux Klan following the surrender of the South in our Civil War.  Confederate General Nathan Bedford Forrest was the guiding light behind this leftist institution.
You see, the South fought the war to defend state’s rights, which to them meant defending the slave-owning aristocrats who decided to break away from the Union in the same way the American colonies broke away from Great Britain.
The Colonies broke away because the people were angry over the belligerence with which the British Crown treated them.  It was as if they were little children who owed everything they produced to a distant despot who not once failed to crack the whip to keep them in line.
The organizers of the rebellion that led to the formation of the United States were not those seeking to keep the wealthy rich but to give EVERYONE the God-given right to live their lives as they saw fit.
Yes, there were people who wanted to maintain the evil institution of slavery, which at the time was the way of the world, both civilized and barbaric.  Furthermore, some nations such as Great Britain abandoned it earlier while others such as Brazil maintained another 20 years or so following the end of the Civil War.
Great Britain, the first European nation to outlaw the transit of slaves from Africa to the New World did not do it because they had ‘humanity’ but to more cause problems for traditional competitors such as Spain, France, and the Netherlands.
The Brits did not outlaw slavery because of their ‘high moral standing’ but to cripple economically those with whom they frequently were in conflict.  If they could stop a major source of income for some of these nations from making its way to them then so much the better for Great Britain.
Our nation was not oblivious to the fact that at some point—slavery would have to go—but for the Founders to form a united nation that could withstand outside meddling, the Founding Fathers and the Framers of the Constitution had to make some harsh choices.
Should we agree to permit slavery to continue and form a unified country or should we go our separate ways on principle, leaving both the North and the South vulnerable to outside hegemony.
Let us not forget that during the Civil War, the South hoped the British and the French would provide it legitimacy through recognizing it as an independent and sovereign nation.
In the end, we dealt with slavery and fought a war to end it although the North did not enter the war with that as the number one guiding principle
No, only when the North suffered setbacks on the battlefield did that become part of the equation, which in turn most likely caused the South to fight that much harder and longer so they could maintain their ‘way of life.’
Abraham Lincoln—although firmly opposed to slavery did not wish to see it end in 1861, he wanted to prevent its further spread to newer territories as they opened to settlers.  He was willing to allow it to continue just so long as it did not follow settlers heading West.
During the Civil War, the Emancipation Proclamation did not include Maryland, Delaware, Kentucky, or Missouri, those states had to end the practice following the conclusion of the Civil War.  Many people simply do not understand or know the facts.
This is where we will end the post for today, which means you and me will meet again tomorrow and then I believe Chef Charles will come in and assume the hot seat.  See you tomorrow.
God bless, know thy history, let us support the President and wipe out the communists funded by Georgie Soros.  Sounds good to me.
See you tomorrow so please, stay strong.
