WINTER SESSION 2017

BLOGPOST #2,262 AT THE AICP-END

EIGHTY-THREE DAYS AFTER ELECTION DAY

Thanks to the leadership of our party, we suffered a massive defeat on November 8 but thank God, we have a governor here in California who is willing to do battle with the Trump Mob

Arvin, CA, 01-30-2017 Monday: Mo and I now switch roles as I write the next couple of weeks and he kindly edits my posts.  This is a good arrangement for the two of us and I have to say that I am extremely pleased that the old goat has now been sober for many months and that his health is returning to him.  No one here at the American Institute of Culinary Politics-Elemental News of the Day wants to lose the man as he not only is a super friend, he inspires all of us to work harder, to reach higher, and to share our opinions with the readership whether they want to hear them or not.
Granted, Mo and I seldom agree, as the man is a stout, rock solid Republican and quite conservative, too, if you have not noticed.  Still, we manage to remain friends and can comment upon one another’s works, analyze them, and even debate them without heading out to the parking lot here on Robert’s Lane and throwing some fists at one another.
Friends, when last I wrote, I was in the midst of some soul-searching as the election was in full swing and the security of the nations and the gains we Democrats made under President Obama were in deep danger.

The reason we were in danger was because OUR OWN PARTY placed its voters in it by attempting—no, by actually doing it—to screw Senator Bernie Sanders so our leadership could push one of the worst candidates of modern times over the top.
When I say ‘worst,’ I mean the epitome of ‘worst,’ Mrs. Clinton has to rank among the least attractive candidates of all time, I kid you not, the woman is a crook, comes off like one, and has to be among the greatest liars in modern American political history.  We would have done so much better with Vice President Joseph R. Biden, Senator Sanders, or Senator Jim Webb as the nominee.
Instead, every worthless loser on our side in leadership—Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Donna Brazile, various senators, congressional representatives, even our few remaining governors—aided Hillary in achieving the nomination much to the chagrin of the rank and file.  Friends, it was little more than BULLS**T force-fed to we the Democrats.
Now, we have President Donald J. Trump and I seriously expect him to so alter America that by the time we either impeach him and remove him from office thanks to the aid his Russian ‘friends’ and Julian Assange provided to him or in 2020—whichever comes first—we will no longer recognize our once great nation.  I think the American people made a deal with the Devil.
I still have some faith in the system, however, as I watch the brave fight that Senate Minority Leader Charles “Chuck” Schumer and his fellow Dems in the Senate continues to wage in his fight to halt as many of the Trump Cabinet nominees as he can.
We have Senator Sessions—a longtime Southern bigot of epic proportions—seeking to become our next attorney general so we can return to a time when the KKK stood outside polling stations and enacted polling taxes on blacks and other minorities.  Schumer must stop this man at all costs lest we surrender everything that is noble and good here in our nation.
We have others who reek of partisan politics seeking to push their way through the process such as good friend of Vladimir Putin and lover of Russia, the devious Rex Tillerson, head of one of the largest polluters on the planet, Exxon-Mobil seeking to become our next secretary of state.
How anyone in his or her right mind could believe that having an oilfield executive running the state department is beyond me.  It almost makes one pine for the ‘good old days’ of Dick Cheney and Halliburton, at least his diabolical nature, schemes, and ideas were on full public view.
Tillerson, however, is such a Manchurian candidate that we will experience fear every time he goes abroad and strikes deals in the backrooms of dictators, thugs, and war criminals.  Oil will always come first and the health of our planet will collapse by the side of the road, were it not for the hope we have here in California with Governor Jerry Brown planning to fight, we might as well submit.
Governor Brown has absolutely no plan to submit to the dictator in Washington, D.C., a dictator so evil that our elected Democrats already ponder removing him from office.
Our esteemed governor gave his state of the state speech last Tuesday and promised to uphold the rights of our immigrant friends, neighbors, and employees as well as fighting the oncoming battle to deny us the ability to maintain sanctuary cities.
Governor Brown will also fight the coming darkness as the reinvigorated oil companies under the direction of Donald Trump seek to spread their filth throughout the nation with pipelines, refineries, and fracking.
We have worked long and hard to recover our state from the developers who seek to corrupt it for their own evil and financial gains, something for which, we have to thank not only the governor but everyone within his administration as well as our noble senators, Dianne Feinstein and Kamala Harris.
I am also glad that Sacramento hired the law firm of which, former AG Eric Holder is a partner to do battle with all of the numerous and unnecessary assaults on our state in order to force us into a pact with the Devil.  We do not want to shed our blood to make this unholy pact and it is clear to me we will not have to do it because of the defenses already falling into place.
I think that if California wants to secede from the dictatorship-controlled nation we see looming on the eastern horizon, then I say let us do it, we can be a great nation, one that will facilitate change from our border with Oregon down to our friend and partner’s border, Mexico.
If the feds want to do battle with us, we will stand up and fight back using whatever means necessary to accomplish the onerous task.  There is no battlefield too big or too small upon which, we will not die so Californians, prepare yourselves for a blistering two weeks as I attempt to counter all of the rightwing drivel you have had to endure for several months now.
I will reinvigorate your minds and folks let us take the fight to local radio station KNZR 1560 AM/97.7 FM, a station that has the likes of Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, Jaz McKay, Mark Levin, and other whacked-out, frothing at the mouth, rabid losers who serve as mouthpieces of the Trump Mob.
Make sure you let your elected leaders know precisely how you feel about derailing the Trump administration right from the start.  Like a venereal disease, it is better to wipe it out with antibiotics early on than to contend with the damage four years later.
See you tomorrow, plan yourselves for some major debate here at the AICP-END Blog—I look forward to seeing ALL of you.  Bye!
