FALL SESSION 2016

BLOGPOST #2,190 AT THE AICP-END

ELEVEN DAYS AFTER ELECTION DAY

Could Michelle Obama or Chelsea Clinton become the NEXT female candidates for president of the United States?

Century City, CA, 11-19-2016 Saturday: Beginning in 2013, some of my colleagues—Lilah, JT, Goldie, and Vick—have shared thoughts on whether Michelle Obama might run for president or not.  Of course, they wrote about it in posts four years out from the election of 2016 thinking that SHE would be the first female president and NOT Hillary.
No one can understand what goes on in the mind of another so no one knows whether Michelle wants to be a figurehead to give her hubby another 4-8 years or would want to the generalissimo herself.  She could be a co-power behind the throne in league with Valerie Jarrett or she could be the main advisor behind her husband—no one knows.
Perhaps the Obamas thought that attempting to run Michelle in 2016 might meet with more resistance because other than being the first lady and being in the same house with her president husband, she knows nothing about politics much less about running the country.
Four years from now, however, she might appear as the leading candidate to break the glass ceiling and put a proud black woman in the White House if the American people turn on Donald Trump.
Somehow, despite what the libs scrawl on their Santa wish list, I seriously doubt that Mr. Trump will fail to have a positive effect on the country.  When he and his team hit the ground running, there is no telling how much affirmative change the Trump-Pence team will cause.
Yet, we know the Democrats are superb liars and the fact that Barack Obama plans to remain in Washington, DC, for the foreseeable future means the Obamas plan to remain actively involved in the doings of the nation.  Who knows, maybe Michelle will seek a congressional or house seat in the way Hillary sought a senate seat from New York after Bill left office.  No one knows what goes on in the minds of the power hungry scumbags.
The only way they would succeed would be if the Trump presidency should crash and burn but I believe anyone who truly believes that is as crazy as a flipping loon is.  Donald Trump does not plan to fail and I suspect that on Day #1 the man is going to send his people out across all government agencies, departments, and posts with the express purpose of bringing about the change Donald Trump wants.
When Mr. Trump says he wants to ‘drain the swamp,’ I suspect the sump pumps will kick into action and the brackish, disease-infected water will begin pouring down the drain.
What is more, I suspect that Mr. Trump is going to have his administration firing on all cylinders and in so doing, people used to things taking years, even decades to happen, will experience shock as change flies like an eagle rather than crawls like a garden slug.
If Mr. Trump is able to do the things he wants to do, I think once things begin functioning in the way the Founders meant them to function people will be pleased with the results.  If any of the Democratic senators fail to climb aboard with Mr. Trump, I suspect their losses in 2018 will continue to mount because people have grown tired with the ‘same old, same old.’
Unlike the ‘fundamental transformation of the country,’ Barack Obama promised us, the positive change Trump brings about is going to instill hope in people that never existed before now.
Moreover, when people realize that the deportation/self-deportation of millions of undocumented leeches brings positive change, I think they will fall behind Donald Trump and the losses among the Democrats will continue to rise over the next four years.
Barack most likely will continue to groom Michelle while I suspect the Clintons will drop out of sight.  After all, who is going to continue paying them a quarter-of-a-million dollars to give speeches that mean little to nothing?  Since the Clintons no longer have anything to give such as access to the highest office in the land, for what does any self-respecting leftist or mega-banker need them?
The answer is nothing.  Sure, Hillary can try to pick up a seat in some state around the country because she is at heart little more than a carpetbagger is.
After all, she and Bill are grifters, they drift around seeking easy marks from whom, they unload or purloin massive amounts of cash but thanks to her being such a public crook, I doubt they will ever have the opportunity ever again to reach the heights from, which they have now fallen.
I suspect that the first woman to break the glass ceiling as far as president goes could be Chelsea Clinton if it is not Michelle Obama.  While both women need to obtain some sort of political experience to qualify them to the voters, Chelsea could be the one to save her family from vicious physical attacks by state actors, intent upon collecting the money they lost funding Hillary’s campaign.
I do not see Chelsea as being any more pure than either mom or dad are and it is possible the least brightest bulb in the Clinton family pack has no desire to achieve high office.
However, if informed that her reluctance to achieve something her mother could not, it could very well be a conflict between the two women as to whom the first woman to occupy the White House might be.
Who knows, it is possible that Barack sabotaged Hillary’s campaign because we know the Clintons and the Obamas detest one another.
Barack did owe Hillary help since he screwed her eight years ago but perhaps he wants Michelle to be another ‘first’ and that is become the first (black) woman president.  That sounds like something the man might do.
Time will tell, my friends, time will tell but I expect Trump is going to revitalize the country and that the Dems will continue to become the irrelevant party everyone thought the Republicans would be following the loss by Donald Trump.  I am still laughing, folks—how about you?
Keep the faith and buy some Beatles albums—make ME look good.
