Who would think that things would be as bad as they have become?
Bakersfield, CA, 10-17-2016 Monday: The last time I was here, it was early May and we were still involved in the fight to select nominees on both sides of the political equation.  Donald Trump was battling Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio while Hillary was doing everything possible in her fight to throw Bernie Sanders over a cliff.  Things were ugly back then but boy, oh, boy, things have gotten far worse.  I mean, I think we knew that if Hillary won the nomination, she would be the one going ‘scorched earth’ and she has not disappointed anyone because she trashes everything in her wake.  While I realize she and her surrogates accuse Donald Trump of being the ‘devastator of the land,’ Hillary is the one going full bore ahead in her bid to snatch the White House out of the hands of the American people.    
You all know me as a ‘political independent,’ a stance that has served me well over the years but in this election, NO one is an independent, we have chosen and chosen long, long ago, the person for whom we will vote.  I had hoped we would have a campaign between two outsiders but we have but one, Donald J. Trump.  Hillary is the perfect example of a political insider, someone who blames everyone else for the problems afflicting the land and never she.  She has done it for so long; I suspect the woman believes her lies.  
I have to chuckle whenever I listen to her speeches or the debates because all of the things she blasts with vitriolic fury are things that the man she seeks to follow bears full responsibility. 
You see, Barack Obama has left this nation a crumbled-up shadow of its former self and should this belligerent woman who perpetually plays the gender card wins the White House, we will live with a dictator worse than any we have seen ever before.  I truly fear our liberties will evaporate, as does the wealth from our pockets, because she is going to tax us out of existence. 
Every American should be trembling in fear right now because we are on the cusp of losing all of the God-given liberties granted us by a Higher Power.  While I might not be the most religious man in the world, I respect and fear God and to put a godless political hack into the White House would prove disastrous for not only the nation but the entire world, as well. 
Alas, we would have someone who would enrich her family by pilfering the treasury and would reap more by selling access to her and her husband as well as favors to those seeking them—for a price.  Hell, we could even see the Iranians arriving at the White House at her inaugural ball, something akin to inviting the devil to remain in one’s home as a permanent houseguest.   
I have considered seeking refuge in another country should this happen and not long ago, my wife returned from Belize and Costa Rica, two places where civilization exists.  I sent her there accompanied by our eldest son and daughter along with their families so they could scope out the two American-friendly countries as places where the family could relocate. 
Belize is a beautiful place according to her and the fact that they speak language, have English culture, legal traditions, and real estate laws tells me it would be among the best places to escape the coming despotism.  Costa Rica, too, is the most stable of Central American countries, where there is a massive ex-pat community and which welcomes people who have the money to relocate to their country so they can open businesses and employ the Costa Rican people.  What is not to love about either one?
If Donald Trump should win the election, I believe there would be so much turmoil here at home, that it would not be safe to walk the streets or go to the mall because the Democrats would be going stark raving nuts. 
Moreover, I believe massive protests could erupt and riots in the streets could occur dwarfing anything we have heretofore seen.  We know the Democrats have grown increasingly unreasonable and more violent over the last eight years so could we even know whether Barack Obama would hand power off to a President-elect Donald Trump.  I doubt it.
I recall hearing the president say several months ago that he ‘could not accept a President Donald Trump.’  Okay, what are you telling us, Mr. President?  Are you saying it would be such a shock to you that it would blow your mind or are you telling us that ‘for the good of the country, it would be better for the American people that you remain in office?’  If the latter were the case, it would be the first time in the history of the nation in which an outgoing chief executive decided not to turn over the keys to the White House.  What could happen?
Many people have come to me and have expressed a deep-seated fear that Barack Obama never intended leaving office at the end of his term.  Some fear he might start a war that might require him to remain in office —in their worried view—until he could restore ‘peace to the world. 
The fact that we now blame the Russians for every dirty deed the Democrats have committed or have been caught doing tells me that an unstable Vladimir Putin might decide to launch a preemptive nuclear first strike on the United States. 
Not long ago, Putin called home ‘every Russian member of the upper class and warned them that if they did not begin pulling their kids studying abroad out of the schools to which, their parents sent them, they might face some penalties’ (this is not a direct quote. 
Furthermore, why would the president of his nation call them home if he did not foresee the possibility that he might have to start a global war?  People currently debate the meaning of his actions.
What we do know is that Russia has been working hard at rebuilding its military while President Barack Obama has gutted ours.  We have the smallest navy since before World War II just as we have increasingly smaller numbers of troops on the ground, troops the president continues sending to all sorts of crap-holes around the world.  Even worse, our military aircraft of all branches are becoming obsolete because we lack the parts, the experienced ground crews, and most of all, the pilots. 
Meanwhile, the Russians continue testing our defenses as they do our NATO allies by flying into our airspace or by buzzing our military ships as they navigate international waters.  Some of the encounters have been extremely close, which means had a Russian airplane collided with one of our aircraft or Navy ships, an international incident could occur leading to an unwanted war on our part but one the Russians really want. 
We have seen other nations behave belligerently towards the United States whether it is the Iranians or the filth they support in Yemen, the Houthi rebels.  Terrorists regularly fire rockets and missiles at us while nuts in Tehran and Pyongyang threaten to nuke us off the map.  There is not a place in the world where left-leaning governments and Islamists do not attempt to threaten or to provoke us into a losing war. 
The constant demands upon our military forces has stretched them extremely thin and I fear at some point, a coalition of enemies is going to contest American power in the world.  Whoever succeeds the current president is going to face an increasingly dangerous world.  If it is Donald Trump, he might commence a crash rebuilding of the military establishment while Hillary will continue selling out our secrets to the highest bidder. 
It does not take a genius to see that we are living in dark and dangerous times and I see things growing worse by the day here in America.  As I have mentioned, I fear that if Hillary loses the election, what we saw happen following the contested election of 2000 will be a blip on the windshield. 
I fully expect people to take to the streets making it increasingly more difficult to go about one’s business as there will be Black Lives Matter thugs in our faces or other radical groups seeking to dish out some ‘payback’ based on erroneous beliefs instilled in them by leftwing agitators.
Times are bad and could far worse before we get things under control.  I hear there are fools who want us to change the National Anthem just as they want to change our flag.  If a weakened American people continue allowing the unreasonable scum to continue pushing-pushing-pushing us to the point of impotence, this nation is going to disappear.  I suspect the Soviets never thought it could happen to them just as we believe it cannot happen to us. 
We will discuss this and more over the course of the week.  I want to commend Chef Davis for stepping in for Mo in doing the much-needed editing job here at the blog.  I think he is doing a lovely job of it and I sure do hope to see Mo return in the winter to let us know what he thinks. 
Have as good a day as you can and we will meet once again tomorrow at 12:01 A.M. posting time on the West Coast.  Keep the faith and pay no attention to whatever you hear coming out of the rectums of the Democrats.  We all know the people running the party are liars, losers, and worst of all, godless liberals.
