Donald Trump continues using ‘rope-a-dope’ with the Democrats over his Tax Returns because when he FINALLY releases them to the World for Scrutiny, they are going to wish they had not swallowed the Lure

FALL SESSION 2016

BLOGPOST #2,148 AT THE AICP-END

I think Donald Trump is doing a masterful job of ‘rope-a-dope’ on the Democrats over the issue of his tax returns
Taft, CA, 10-08-2016 Saturday:  Tomorrow night, Donald Trump and Hilary Clinton enter the ring for round number 2 of their heavyweight championship bout and people across the nation make BIG predictions as to which one is going to score a decisive knockout.  As of now, none of us can be sure but I have another thought I want to share with you before we return to the discussion of the debate.
Let us discuss the ‘tax return’ situation, the one that politicians forever use to bash one another, particularly Republicans.  Right now, Hillary and hobgoblin running mate and cracker-in-chief, Tim Kaine, attack-attack-attack Donald J. Trump over his failure to release his tax returns as well as over the three page mini-return that (most likely) former wife, Marla Maples, sent to the news media so they could skewer him.
Now, I suspect that Trump’s former wife remains on good terms with her former hubby because for one thing, I am sure she receives a grand amount of money that she would be a fool to forego should definitive word appear that SHE did it.  I suspect that Donald Trump is using some ring smarts in that someone among his trusted staff released the document so that the media and the opposing campaign would zero in it on as a leech does unprotected skin.
In so doing, Donald Trump draws his enemies in to their demise in the same manner a pitcher plant suckers flies.  I suspect that some point following Sunday night’s debate or even around the final one on the 19th of this month, Trump is going to release ALL of his taxes.
Moreover, when the crescendo is so high that the libs think they have him by the scrotum, he will dash them, their harsh words, and his political foes on the rocks.  There, they will languish in various stages of a masterful smack-down and will in turn appear to be the maggot-eating scumbags they are.  I am already rubbing my hands in glee!
One would think that Hillary and Timmy Kaine would have enough political smarts to understand that with the PT Barnum of political candidates, the Donald is NEVER going to allow his enemies to paint him into a corner from which, he cannot escape.  Everything the man does he does by design and uses some of the wisest and most adept abilities at destroying his enemies.  Hillary has no clue as to what is coming her way but when she finally recognizes her imminent demise, she will have NO time to dig in her heels and stop it.
Donald Trump is unlike anything we have ever seen before in politics.  The anger of the ‘little guy,’ the ‘common man and woman,’ the ‘people who make the nation work,’ gave birth to Donald Trump.  He was always there creating a successful business empire and at times mused that perhaps he would run for the presidency of the United States one day.  He has always wanted to make America ‘great again’ and so he will.
Astute as he is, I am sure he saw there were times when he did not need to do it but on Wednesday night on the Bill O’Reilly program on FOX, the host played a clip from a White House correspondents dinner back in 2011 in which, President Obama ‘roasted’ Donald Trump for more than five minutes.  The president bashed him for the ‘birther issue’ and had everyone bellowing with laughter at the expense of the New York real estate/reality TV tycoon.  It was brutally harsh and it must have angered the Donald.
Trump sat there and attempted to shrug it off but the crowd was raucous, clearly delighted to laugh at the expense of Donald Trump.  Obama lambasted the man with impunity as NO one could dare to tell him, “ENOUGH!”
Trump should have known that the White House correspondents’ dinner is a place where the left wing news media does its best to wipe the floor with conservative pundits and talk radio hosts and anyone else that crosses the line.  They have no sense of humor, they have no sense of comedy, nor do they have any wit; no, the left seeks to belittle and destroy anyone with the testicular fortitude to go toe-to-toe with them.
What’s more, any schmuck who upset the ‘Boy King’ should have known that he or she would pay the ultimate price by being the center of negative attention and Donald Trump was that pathetic dupe on that night.  Had it been me, I would have turned beet-red with embarrassment and humility, praying to God ‘to please, make it stop.’  However, at that level of ‘society,’ one cannot easily forego the room and escape to the bathroom or to a waiting limousine so Trump had to sit there and grin and bear it.
I think Mr. Trump recognized that going up against President Obama—despite the disaster in which, the nation was in—would not bear fruit so he funded Mitt Romney and let him contest a sitting president.  Romney did such a poor job of it and the support of the base for him was always in question.  Despite the fact that Governor Romney might be a fabulous fellow, there were too many questions about him, which, Bush #43-like, he did not contest to his loss.
Romney’s failure gave the nation another four years of decline, disaster, and distress, which in the eyes of Donald Trump was the perfect opening for him.  The fact that everyone knew that Hillary would be the ultimate nominee—despite what we all hoped would happen with the FBI investigation into her emails and private server—so who better to run against than a former friend.
The Republicans also—in MY view—opened the door to Donald Trump, too, because even though we had a massive field of qualified candidates, many of them had flaws.  The one with the most flaws was the low-energy, chipmunk-looking Jeb Bush who made the comment that he was ‘going to win the nomination without the GOP base,’ which horrified   EVERYONE on our side.
You see, Jeb sought to vacuum up all of the available campaign cash and then play the conservative wing off against itself so he could then waltz to the top by outspending everyone else and then through winning all of the primaries and caucuses.  Had Donald Trump not entered the fray early on, we could very well find ourselves suffering yet another Bush candidacy, which would send many of us running to get our legally owned handguns and ending it all—NO MORE BUSHES!
Alas, Donald Trump said the things the nation wants to hear.  We do not want wide-open borders and we do not want a tidal wave of illegal aliens pouring into the country, drowning the people beneath a diseased tide of human flotsam and jetsam.  We want a dam to keep them back and only Donald Trump is willing to build it and build it he will!
What’s more, we do not want a nonstop northbound flow of illegal alien brats claiming to have relatives here in the United States and then having federal authorities sneak them into our communities forcing US to care for them.  When the Border Patrol catches illegal aliens, we want them to detain them and then to begin the repatriation of them to their countries of origin.
Even more important, we want ICE and the Border Patrol to fulfill the obligations placed atop them by EXISTING laws instead needing ‘immigration reform,’ which is a euphemism for allowing EVERYONE entry.  No wonder that law enforcement and the Border Patrol unions have endorsed Donald Trump—let us get out of their way and let them go at it.
I think from the start, Donald Trump knew what he was going to do and he unlike any of the other candidates on the GOP side—men and women who have lived or worked within the boundaries of Washington DC or as governors of states—because he interacts with people at all levels.  He knew the rising tide of dissatisfaction among the American people and he knew instinctively that his competition—including outsiders such as Dr. Carson and Carly Fiorina—could not do what he set out to do.
I believe Donald Trump is a master at sensing what the American people seek in a leader, that they want someone who thinks and feels like THEY do.  Jeb Bush knows nothing about how we, the people, feel, he knows what the Bush Family feels, and what it wants but NOT us.
Rand Paul, Chris Christie, Rick Santorum, Mike Huckabee, Bobby Jindal, the dimwit John Kasich, and Lindsey Graham have nothing in common with us.  Nor does Marco Rubio, Scott Walker, and Rick Perry, each one of them is an ‘insider’ in one way or the other but NOT Donald Trump.
In addition, the Donald is a man for the times, and he has awaited the right time to run and that time is NOW.  I think he is going to surprise the hell out of the liberals when he finally releases his tax returns AFTER the libs have had him on the spit long enough, roasting over a smoldering fire.
I truly would hate to be a Democrat or a member of the news media just as I would not want to be among the Republican elite.  When they refused to honor their pledge to support the eventual nominee—something with which, they tried to disable Donald Trump in the early going—they put their full colors on display and how ugly they are.  Each one of them should find shame in being the cutthroat scumbags they are because in the eyes of the American people, they are no better than the Democrats are.
I await tomorrow night’s debate with eagerness because I suspect that we will see a different Donald Trump from what we saw on round number 1.  Granted, I think he will hold his tax returns closer to his vest for a while longer so the Democrats will continue savaging him to their maximum extent.
However, when he finally releases them to the world, we will see that he has indeed paid his taxes, that he has given to charity, and that his business dealings are open, honest, and above board.  I say, “Woe to the Democrats!”
Please, let me know what you think and please check out the fine selection of albums we have for you by the Hollies.  When we finally arrive at the end of the English band’s catalog, I believe we are going to begin presenting the Beatles for your listening enjoyment.  That is going to be great!
Please, join me tomorrow and we will do it all over again.  God bless you all and remember this: God loves YOU.  See you soon--arrivederci!

The Hollies released another ‘best of’ compilation album this one in 2001, entitled, “Super Hits.”  Say what you will about this band, during their first decade or so, they cranked out a variety of BIG HITS although it would seem their ‘golden days’ were well behind them now.  This album contains most of their big hits.  Therefore, if you want to hear some of the finest rock-and-roll from one of the all-time great original British Invasion bands of the first wave, then this CD is a must-have for all serious music fans.  Ergo, why we say ‘use our link so you can redirect your browser to Amazon.com where you can pick it up in whatever form, condition, and price suits you—we thank you.’
