SUMMER SESSION 2016

BLOGPOST #2,127 AT THE AICP-END

Donald Trump may not be a ‘conservative’ but he is what we have—VOTE for HIM!
Kula, HI, 09-17-2016 Saturday:  Yesterday, I speculated upon what sort of secretive, hidden agenda there is that continues forcing Hillary to keep going back out on the campaign trail and it continues to bother the heck out of me.  I have read how some who know history here at the blog have claimed that we stand at a crossroads from which, if we do not make the correct choices, we could very well see our liberties deteriorate.  It is as if a shadow government exists behind the scenes, one that gives the people the illusion that we are free and able to pursue a wide range of liberties even though various state governments continue to restrict all manner of rights.  Whether it is the right to keep and own firearms or to prevent sexual predators from accosting the vulnerable of our society, our state governments continue to strangle the freedoms the Founders bestowed upon us.
I do not know what drives Hillary Clinton to run, what I do know is that it seems mighty strange to me that this 68-year-old woman continues to push herself to keep this frenetic pace.  I have no illusion that I could maintain a similar schedule, which at my age should be easier than it is for her and yet, I think it would kill me.
Something I do suspect is that she does have some sort of body double, not necessarily a doppelganger as some folks speculate but someone of like size, facial features, and voice who skilled makeup artists can transform into a seeming likeness of the former secretary-of-state.  Add the bright blue sunglasses and one has an amazing recovery as with Lazarus rising from the dead.  I am sorry, friends, I simply cannot see how the woman does it.
Should something happen to Hillary—say during the first debate—who would take her place?  That is the million-dollar question folks as no one has seen a scenario such as this in modern times of which, I know.  Heck, maybe it has never happened before so it would be the ‘charting of new territory,’  something Larry Sabato Jr. would include in one of his textbooks.  By rights, one would think Bernie Sanders would have the right at first refusal or acceptance because after all, he did give Mrs. Clinton a tough run for her money in the primaries.
Let us imagine at the first debate, Mrs. Clinton breaks into a coughing fit, one that goes on for several minutes.  I can see the Donald standing there with his sly eyes, looking at her, then the floor, then the ceiling, before walking over, putting an arm around her shoulders, and handing her a bottle of water.  “There, there, Mrs. Clinton, we will wait until you are ready to proceed.”
Can you imagine the turmoil this would cause Mrs. Clinton because it would humanize Trump in way no one has ever seen before (even though I believe the man is a warm human being) and it would make Hillary appear to be the frail little woman?  Hillary plays the woman card at times when it suits her purposes but an event such as the one I see happening would be the ultimate end for her campaign.
What I am saying is that it will not be ‘another Rick Lazio moment’ (if you do not know to what I refer, Google it) because Trump knows how to play the moment.  A little human kindness can go a long ways.  Very few of us believe Hillary is ‘in it’ for her own purposes anymore.  We suspect that she dances to the tune others continue playing for her.
In effect, she is a robot or an android under the control of another malevolent, unbending, evil mind.  If Saul Alinsky were still alive, he would be clapping and hooting along the sidelines of the campaign.  “YOU go, girl, you go!” he would be screaming at the top of his sulfurous lungs.  Alinsky is the incarnation of Satan and became it when he dedicated his book to Lucifer he proved it and who knows—perhaps he has possessed her body and mind?
I think the first debate is a week from this upcoming Monday evening so it is something I am going to have to watch—Monday Night Football can wait—because no matter who plays that evening, this is the must-watch event of the Election Year.  I cannot see how Hillary is going to go toe-to-toe with Donald Trump nor can I see her upsetting the man.  No, since Kellyanne Conway came aboard the Trump train, his campaign has continued to soar.
I believe Lester Holt moderates the first debate and he is a man in whom, I see objectivity and honor, not someone who will behave as the onerous Candy Crowley did in the debate between Mitt Romney and President Barack Obama back in 2012.
Obama was a horrible debater and without help from the moderating staff, he would never have been able to maintain a hold on his seat.  Romney cleaned his clock in the first debate and managed to eke out a minor victory in their second one.  However, Crowley saved the president’s bacon in the third one and the rest is history.
I think Mr. Trump learned so much in the grueling number of debates, which the Republicans held during the primary season, and when he meets with Hillary Clinton, I think he will destroy her without appearing sexist or a bully.  He fended off all sorts of attacks from his fellow GOP challengers and always managed to bob back up to the top while one-by-one, the others disappeared.
I hope that as Mr. Trump continues to share his various policy proposals that he will begin winning over more and more of his rivals.  All of them pledged to support the eventual nominee whereas now, many of them are not, something I hope they all suffer punishment.  We cannot have a party where people who pledge to do one thing and then jump ship because if it works for one, it works for all and as I recall, Donald Trump did sign the pledge.
Many of my fellow Hawaiian Republicans express dismay at the abandonment of the candidate by many mainstream Republicans but then, well, they are what they are, ‘Republicans in name only’ aka RINOS.  I hope that when Donald Trump wins the White House, the party begins an inquisition of its more anti-Trump candidates because a party cannot survive unless it unites behind the person carrying the standard.
Donald Trump has the standard so get off your asses, RINOS, and go out there and support the man.  This means YOU, Jeb Bush, this means YOU, Lindsey Graham, this means YOU, John McCain, this means YOU, John Kasich, and this means YOU, Ted Cruz.  Virtually every Republican who has abandoned the candidate, I hope we wipe them out now or beginning in 2018 and onward.  We cannot permit the traitors to continue being members of a party in which, they abandon the candidate because they ‘don’t like him’ or ‘he hurt their feelings.’
I think this has been coming for a long, long time now because many of the people we elect to lead us fail to keep the promises they make us.  It is no wonder that people are angry, pissed off, and ready to revolt when people we elect and expect to keep the promises they made us then spit in our faces and go about their merry way.  I hope to see numerous of the traitors left alongside the road as the new Trump-brand of Republicanism catches fire and brings everyone onboard a working economy.
Donald Trump may not be a ‘conservative’ but he is better than the alternative.  I know that when he wins the election, his time of trial and tribulation will not be over but will be just beginning.
Furthermore, I hope that he takes his message straight to the people by going on air and telling the people what he plans to do and how he plans to do it.  I also hope he tells them to pester their elected representatives if these recalcitrant losers fail to support his policies and methods and to either recall or to vote them out should they continue fighting him.
I see good things happening in the future but first, we will have to undergo trying and troubling times as the OLD way of doing things begins to implode and the NEW way begins to unfold.  Donald Trump is the man who will make America great again, not a racist war cry but a promise of benefits to all.  We can do so much but first, we have to end this sick desire to open our borders and to let in Third World refugees who will never assimilate.
Donald Trump, I love you, I stand behind you, and we are going to kick some ass on November 08.  People, please, educate yourselves by embracing what the Donald wants to do, he is far better than Hillary Clinton could ever be and he will bring back the glory days that none have seen in more than 30 years.  We must vote for Donald Trump and as soon as we can begin voting, we must vote because we must put the fear of God into every single flipping Democrat.
That will do it for today, please join me tomorrow and we will close out the week looking at some RINOS I hope the people living in their districts will vote out of office as soon as possible.
Gosh, I wish we could begin cleaning house here in Hawaii, not something that is very easy because we are similar to the mess California sees on a daily basis.  We need to restore the American Dream to the entire nation and like it or not, it begins at home first.
See you all tomorrow, aloha and goodbye—for now.

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 17, 2016

The Hollies released another studio album in 1975, this one entitled, “Another Night.”  The band contained the same lineup as the previous album, Allan Clarke (vocals), Bobby Elliott (drums), Tony Hicks (vocals, lead guitar), Graham Nash (vocals, rhythm guitar), Bernie Calvert (bassist/keyboardist), Terry Sylvester (rhythm guitarist/vocalist) plus Pete Wingfield on keyboards and backing vocals.  The songwriting trio of Clarke-Hicks-and-Sylvester (or a pair of them) penned all but one of the tunes.  However, no major hits made it onto the radio stations of the day.  Still, the album is a fine one, a CD we hope you will seek out by using the link we provide you here so you can go directly to Amazon.com and pick it up in the format, the condition, and the price that works for you.
