The Iraqis are preparing to retake the Second-Largest City in the Nation, Mosul, and we must provide them all of the Help necessary to defeat the Terrorist Scum—let’s kill Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi!

SUMMER SESSION 2016

BLOGPOST #2,063 AT THE AICP-END

We need to help the Iraqis crush the ISIS thugs using whatever weapons we must
Century City, CA, 07-15-2016 Friday: Currently, Iraqi forces are on the way to launching an all-out assault on the ISIS riffraff holed-up in the second-largest city of that nation, Mosul.  After battling the scumbags in Fallujah and beating the snot out of them, the confident Iraqi Army and Air Force aided by the United States in the air and on the ground, are lining up outside the northern city.  I hope they are able to best the jihadists and that if they take any POWS, they mete out to them what they have meted out to the people living underneath their tyrannical lunatic leaders.  I hope the Iraqis confine the jihadists in iron cages and then toss them into the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers.   Alternatively, they could throw them from the top of tall buildings as they do homosexuals or even crucify the rubbish, as they deserve nothing but harsh treatment.
Back in 2003, I was not excited about President George W. Bush seeking to invade Iraq, as I like everyone else I know did not see the reasons clearly, as to WHY we should put American fighting men-and-women on the line for a debatable war.  On the other hand, once the military crossed the border out of Kuwait and headed north, I did my best to maintain a positive attitude towards the endeavor and hoped that it would end swiftly and that few of our troops would lose their lives in the battles ahead.
Saddam Hussein was a dreadful man and we all know he deserved everything he received from his captors.  Dangling from the gibbet was too kind for the man, a thug who threw enemies into pits holding ravenous dogs or put them in rooms full of overhead pipes where sulfuric acid randomly dripped onto the poor bastards below.  Meanwhile, he and his lackeys observed the human destruction from a viewing room—EVIL.
I was not upset when the American troops pulled him out of his hidey-hole where the disheveled and unkempt former decider of life and death in Iraq cowered and put him on television.  Oh, I realized that the Arab world was incensed and angry over the way the medic prodded and poked in the man’s mouth searching for hidden capsules of poison.  It was what he deserved, the man deserved his transformation into a cartoon of his former self, and the people had to know that the man was a human being and a worthless one at that.
By the time Barack Obama inherited Iraq, he inherited one that was relatively stable and had undergone three elections in a row as I recall.  People proudly held up their blue fingers showing that they had voted and as more people walked to the polls during the first election, others exited their houses and businesses to join them, throwing fear aside.
If you recall, the terrorists in Iraq threatened anyone who took part in the elections but by the end, hundreds of thousands, possibly millions of Iraqis at all levels of society had made their wishes known.  It was a moment that almost brought tears to my eyes to see people taking advantage of the opportunity to say for the first time how they wanted their country run.
Living with tyranny is never an easy thing, history tells us that as over the preceding century and throughout history, there are numerous examples of dictators and thugs running and looting countries for their own enrichment.  To think that we could slap down a stable democracy in the center of the Middle East and leave it as a shining example what surrounding nations could achieve was a noble cause.
Unfortunately, President Obama saw no value in maintaining a U.S. presence there and so set it onto the course of internal divisions, external invasion, and victim to stronger powers around it.
Had we brokered the deal by which, we could maintain a military base there in the nation, we might never have had to contend with the murderous human feculence that makes up ISIS.  It is as if Barack Obama could not speed away quickly enough from a war he criticized from start to finish, something we may not have liked but for which, we already expended the blood and treasure to buy its freedom.  Why not stay there and have a tertiary base in the midst of the Middle East, especially next to two dictatorial regimes, Iran on one side and Syria on the other.
It was not to be, all we heard from the Democrats, the party to whom I connected myself for decades because I thought they represented my views, is that the war in Iraq was bad and that we needed to abandon it as quickly as possible.  Vice President Joe Biden crowed ‘what a success it was for the Obama administration’ but that questionable ‘success’ soon evaporated like mist in the morning sunlight.
Within months of the pullout and the leaving behind of billions of dollars of military equipment, Iraq found itself fraught with sectarian divisions and outside hegemonic activity coming across its border with Iran.  The Iranians have always had their eye on neighboring Iraq because of the large Shiite population there, one that believes the same End Times crap the mullahs in Tehran do.  It sure seemed like the tendrils emanating from the Iranian capital were finding open doors across their neighbor’s territory.
Meanwhile, the Arab Spring exploded across the Middle East early in Barack Obama’s first term.  From the Atlantic coast of North Africa all the way to Iran, peoples of the Middle East rose up demanding a change from the dictatorial regimes that have ruled them from time immemorial.  The only stable long-term democracy in the Middle East has been Israel and we know what its neighbors think of it; they want to destroy it through demanding the ‘right of return.’  I believe the Obama administration is in complete agreement with this insane idea and that is one of the reasons why there is so much friction between our nation and theirs.
We now know that the U.S. Department of State spent taxpayers’ money in the 2015 Israeli elections as our president did everything in his power to see that Benjamin Netanyahu did not receive another term.  How many times have we seen our president snub the Israeli leader, it is embarrassing to anyone who believes in the right of the Jewish state to exist.
Based on Mr. Obama spending millions of dollars to beat Mr. Netanyahu, I would think there would be rising cries of ‘impeachment.’  He and Hillary think along the same lines and if anyone believes that she will not continue his policies or go even farther than he, then I would say you are frigging crazy.
Conversely, Donald Trump says he is a ‘friend of Israel’ and in my aged book, I think that that is a good thing and a reason as to WHY he would make the better president.  We as Americans must stand strong with Israel as if we do not then I think we are opening the door to disaster, both there and here at home.  We must stand with Israel at ALL times.
Finally, I have something else I want to comment upon—why do liberals say that the detention camp at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, helps ‘recruit’ terrorists.  How is this so?  Does San Quentin, Folsom, or Leavenworth prisons recruit criminals to do bad things?
I had no idea that having prisons in one’s country acted as recruiting tools for criminals to commit worse crimes just as I had no idea that having an active and functioning death penalty somehow caused more murderers to take innocent lives.  I would suggest that anyone who says dumb s**t such as this needs to reexamine their arguments and reconsider their ways.
Yes, I know that many in the administration and in both houses of Congress proclaim that Gitmo recruits terrorists but until I know it as a fact, I will continue to believe that comments such as those are little more than a smoke screen to cover failing policies.  The fact that President Obama had to say he was going to ‘keep more troops in Afghanistan than he had planned to’ tells me that his military policies are failing and that that nation is in deeper trouble than any astute observers thought it was.
We know ISIS is spreading tendrils throughout the area and that is WHY we must maintain a presence somewhere in the region so we can draw them likes flies to a steaming pile of s**t.  Once we attract them, we can kill them.  One always places bait out there for vermin to flock to and once they do, we wipe them out.
My final hope is that the next president will revise the policies regarding engagement with the enemy and will allow our troops to use every tool in the arsenal to combat the scum. We should use napalm, white phosphorous, and the neutron bomb.  Let us use the tools we have in our armories so we can send this human trash screaming naked into the night for a century or more.
We must find a way to show the world that the United States is back and ready to go and I hope we get Donald Trump into the White House in 2017.  If we get Hillary, terror attacks both here and abroad will increase and she will seek to rob us of our guns.
Folks, I will see you tomorrow and we will continue from there.  Please join me at the other blog to see the post I wrote on Wednesday and to see the beautiful Beverly Carrick original artworks—you will be glad you did.
Thank you,
PEACE!
