HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY!

SUMMER SESSION 2016

BLOGPOST #2,052 AT THE AICP-END

Last November, I thought the posts I wrote depicted stories that could not get any worse; boy, was I ever wrong!
San Diego, CA, 07-04-2016 Monday: Hola, amigos, it is good to be back in the coveted Stinkbug chair.  The last time I was here, it was November 2015 and all sorts of things were going on at the time that seemed mucho malo and worth posting.  I said that voting for Donald Trump might not be a bad thing, especially if he actually went out, built the wall, and began expelling illegal aliens back from whence they came.
In addition to that, I pondered as to WHY President Obama has such a ‘hard-on’ for Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, because it seems he wants to take the guy out no matter how little it makes sense—especially with the Russians and Iranians backing him.  I mean, as I said at the time, I am sure if someone were trying to remove our illustrious president from office, he would catapult barrel bombs on his enemies, too, that is how dictators act.
What’s more, last November we discussed the UC Merced stabber, a Muslim boy, Faisal Mohammad, who went after several classmates and stabbed them with the intent to murder them.  He murdered four people and wounded four others.   A cop shot the punk and took his life but then the inevitable began as people first withheld the information that the little shit was Muslim and that he had an ISIS flag in his possession.
You know, I find it funny how our government always attempts to cover stuff up if a Muslim or Islam is somewhere within the equation.  God bless Donald Trump for wanting to BAN Muslims from coming from terrorist areas to the United States.
Furthermore, something else we discussed was the idea that someone is going to have to neuter or ban CAIR—the Council for American-Islamic Relations—because almost every time a Muslim acts up and kills or wounds innocent people, CAIR comes out and lectures us on not suspecting Muslims.  They also tell us that the assailant does not reflect the ‘religion of peace,’ something I think that you and I know it does.
Besides, if Muslims want to be exempt from scrutiny and suspicion, then I say we should allow the imams to murder their own should they suspect of them of plotting jihad.  If the religious leaders do not, then we know they approve of jihad, too.
Another thread we discussed last November was the pathetic, “Jeb Can Fix It” campaign, another dying gasp from a man who had no clue that NO one was going to vote for him.  With more than $150 million in his war chest and a big PAC backing him, Jeb Bush thought he was going to smoke his 16 rivals in the primaries when it turned out that the only one he smoked happened to be him.
Sad, folks, when the scion of a wealthy and powerful political family plans to have the same sort of coronation as people claim Hillary is going to have and to go down in flames and without a parachute.
As I concluded my week last November, I stated that it was tragic that the ONLY person we have to cheer for is Vladimir Putin because at least the wily little communist thug stands up for his friends and allies.  For a long time, he was the ONLY one taking the fight to ISIS in Syria and was doing a kick-ass job of it.
Sadly, the Russian leader makes our chief executive look like a ding-dong that has sat on the shelf for far too long.  At least now, the American air war over Syria and Iraq has stepped up and it would appear that we are blowing the scumbags off the face of the map yet we allow their capital, Raqqa to stand, unmolested.
When we write once every six-to-twelve months, we always expect that what we write about is the worst things can get.  It happens every single time because I always breathe a sigh of relief when I post my last article and can go back to what I do best: supervising my staff.
In fact, I allow the family to run things more than ever now, which allows me to spend time fishing alongside the beautiful Pacific Ocean or going down to Mexico and doing the same along the shores of Baja California.  What is the point in growing old if one cannot go out and enjoy life, folks, I certainly enjoy the remaining years that I have.
Ah, well, it appears things have gotten far worse, worse than even I your aged host could ever have anticipated.  The attack on the Pulse nightclub in Orlando, Florida, was a horrendous act of cruelty, barbarism, and homophobia.  My heart goes out to the dead, the wounded, and their families.  While we may not agree on everything, I stand with the LGBT community and hope that this serves as a wakeup call, one that propels them to go to the gun store, buy weapons, and to learn how to use them.
Unfortunately, with the new laws signed by Governor Jerry Brown last Friday, that might be an impossible dream.  The government of California is doing things President Barack Obama wishes he could do.  As California goes, so goes the nation.
If you have read this blog for a long time, you know I commenced my blogging career as a lifelong Democrat.  I still believe in the Democrat ideals of protecting the workers, standing with the persecuted and mistreated, and believe that everyone deserves a shot at the American Dream.  However, I am glad I became a registered independent because I am flabbergasted at the fact that Hillary Clinton most likely is going to get a pass from the Department of Justice on her illegal email server and her hacked emails.  Back on August 13, 2015, this is what I said at our Facebook site:
As a former Democrat-turned Independent, I am still in step with the Democrats on many things—certainly NOT on Planned Parenthood, I now see them as evil—and suspect that Bernie is doing as well as he is because the party does NOT want Hillary to carry its flag.  Hillary has way too much dirt associated with her and worse, she is not as slippery as is her husband, Bill, who can charm one out of his wallet while redirecting their attention somewhere else.  No, Hillary is ‘what you see is what you get’ folks, she is who she is, she does not excite the base nor does she stand a chance of doing it in the future.  I will say that in MY eyes, Hillary Clinton is the liberals’ version of Senator John McCain.  No fire, a sniveler, and now worse than poor old McCain has a prison sentence dangling about her neck like an albatross.  Who would ever have thought something such as this would befall Hillary Clinton, is it déjà vu once again, is she going to go down in smoking defeat, flaming ruin to someone such as far leftist Senator Bernie Sanders?
After the Attorney-General of the United States, Loretta Lynch met with Bill Clinton aboard a private jet in a hanger at the Sky Harbor International Airport in Phoenix, Arizona, a week ago today, Hillary is ‘it, she’s the one.’  There is no way this was not set up—even though everyone acts as if the local media caught them with their pants down doing the dirty deed—because if they truly did not want the meeting KNOWN, no one would have known it.
I listened to numerous people discuss the matter and it is quite apparent to me, your slow-witted chef-host that it was a set up from start to finish to show the hard-working professional prosecutors and lawyers of the Justice Department that Ms. Lynch is WITH the Clintons.  This tells them that if they put forth a recommendation for filing charges against the former secretary of state and apparent Democrat presidential nominee, they can kiss their careers ‘goodbye.’
Bill Clinton was and most likely still is her benefactor and whether Bill told Barack Obama to make her his second AG following the stepping down of Eric Holder or Obama did it himself, it sure appears as though the Clintons have someone VERY CLOSE to Barack Obama.  Who knows what they might now know about Obama, stuff that could embarrass him and destroy his legacy, perhaps this is WHY the president continues allowing the appearance of investigation to continue.
I thought last year that Barack Obama had the Clintons under his thumb but I now no longer believe that, I believe it is the other way around, mis amigos.  I think there is tension aplenty between the two but when the sitting AG of the United States can meet a former president in the privacy of a jetliner while she investigates his wife shows where the chips lie, where the bodies are buried, and where the cookies crumble one by one.
Summing it all up, I believe it is a case of ‘checkmate’ and that Hillary stands a good chance of winning the White House unless Donald Trump can twirl around and find a way to get the GOP to back him and for a majority of the American people to vote for him.   We shall see, amigos, we shall see.
Have a great, safe-and-sane Fourth of July celebration and please, do not shoot off illegal fireworks and burn down the house of a neighbor or blow a limb off, celebrate it with sanity.  In addition to that, if you drive, don’t drink and if you drink, don’t drive.  Adios, see you mañana.
Thank you,
Pedro Munoz

FLAG OF THE DAY: JERSEY

MORE TO COME FROM THE ROLLING STONES

MONDAY, JULY 04, 2016
The Rolling Stones released their first studio album in years in 2005, “A Bigger Bang.”  This album would qualify as their first ‘double album’ since “Exile on Main Street,” and all of the songs are great.  There are those fans out there who boohoo over the fact that it is nowhere near as good as anything from the ‘classic age,’ you know, 1964-1974.  Well, while that is always TRUE, time does indeed move on and here we are, in the 21st Century and the Stones are still rolling strong.  That is something we cannot say for the Beatles (out in 1972), Family (out in ’73), the Faces (gone in ’75), the Who (well, they come and go but lack the power), and the Kinks (who called it quits in 1996).  If there is one thing, we can say for sure about the Stones, they are quality musicians and their interplay is so effortless that it blows the mind of the uninitiated listener.  They are indeed the modern day blues men, musicians who will perform until they day they enter the coffin.  Please, use the link we provide you here so you can go to Amazon.com and pick it up there in the format, the condition, and the price that works for you—you will be glad you did.
