As a Green Party Member who typically votes for Democrat Candidates, let me tell you WHY Hillary Clinton is not it but Trump is and also something about the Mess in which, Modern-Day American finds itself

SUMMER SESSION 2016

BLOGPOST #2,060 AT THE AICP-END

We hit on a variety of things today
Century City, CA, 07-12-2016 Tuesday:  As someone who voted Democrat or for the few Green Party candidates who on occasion appeared on a primary ballot for most of my life, I have to admit that my eyes now are wide open to all of the insanity the American left is responsible.  Hillary Clinton has to be one of the worst candidates in political history as not only is she unqualified for the White House, she seems to be a traitor, too.  She mishandled national secrets and quite possibly sold them for contributions to her and Bill’s ‘charity,’ the charity that only seems to enrich the pair of them and their daughter, Chelsea.
I think if a Republican had done the same things we now know Mrs. Clinton did, that person would be sitting in a cramped jail cell, getting yard privileges for one hour per day.  The double standard we see here is akin to other leftwing double standards such as the bull**** Black Lives Matter group.
If ‘black lives do indeed matter,’ then why the hell are you not marching through the Southside of Chicago 24/7/365?  People lose their lives there on a daily basis and with more than 340 murders already this year; Chicago homicides are going to see a banner year.  This is not something of which, any of us should be proud.
This election season is one in which, Americans have a choice about the direction the nation is going to go for the next decade or longer.  I fear that if Mrs. Clinton wins the White House, we are going to lose more rights than we have lost over the course of the past seven-and-a-half years.  She will put more anti-American, leftwing jurists onto the Supreme Court and there is no telling how many rights the lopsided court will strip from the American people.
If you have read the Facebook posts over the course of this past year (before we discontinued the practice), then you know I thought Senator Bernie Sanders was the best candidate the Democrat Party could select to be its 2016 presidential nominee.  Compared to Hillary, Bernie was a breath of fresh air, someone who said what he believed and believed what he said.  Hillary, on the other hand, is as Donald Trump says she is, she has perfected the politics of self-enrichment rather than committing to the service of the people.
Unfortunately, one has to wonder what exactly Donald Trump is doing with his campaign.  The man does not seem to be raising the vast sums of money any candidate seeking the White House does nor does he seem to want to take the fight to Mrs. Clinton with the same gusto he did against his GOP opponents.  We know during the primaries that Trump was ‘all in’ on taking out each of his opponents, compartmentalizing each one as he needed to do, so he could then swoop in and destroy them.
Trump tore Jeb Bush apart and left him little more than road kill alongside the political road just as he did Dr. Ben Carson (child molester), Carly Fiorina (that face), Marco Rubio (“Little Marco”), and “Lyin’” Ted Cruz.
Other candidates who crossed his path received the same drubbing the others received until no one remained other than Senator Cruz and Ohio Governor John Kasich.  One has to wonder whether Trump funded the Kasich campaign and then stripped him of funds less than 24 hours after Senator “Lyin’ Ted” Cruz threw in the towel—I suspect that this is what happened, folks.
Donald Trump is out there saying he is “the law and order candidate,’ which I certainly hope he is.  I live in Los Angeles, California, and I can tell you there is ALWAYS tension in this city.
What’s more, we need someone willing to reinstall an impartial and fair legal system that gives everyone who deserves a chance the chance he or she needs while protecting the people from the filth that wants to rob, rape, and murder family members or us.  We need someone willing to sit across the table from people who feel that society overlooks their needs and then propels them into the streets to do harm to those whom the president or one of his minions blames for their problems.
I say enough with the finger-pointing, people, it is 2016, we should all be color blind by now but the fact that we have the ‘divider-in-chief’ in the White House instead of the commander-in-chief makes me feel like I am watching an episode of “Hell on Wheels,” the AMC classic show.  There is a lot of racism and class warfare in that show what with various groups and concerns attempting to get one up on the other but that was a depiction of life following the Civil War.
We know things were bad back then but now, no one has an explanation as to why the races cannot get along except for the fact that the people in power seek to divide us from one another because it behooves and benefits them to do so.
I try to maintain an open mind, but when I hear some ignoramus speaking out for Black Lives Matter or some hack politician and worse, it embarrasses me to be a left-leaning somewhat independent-thinking voter.  As I said, I was a member of the Green Party for decades because I believed in all of the ‘saving the environment’ horse manure until I discovered that the people promoting the ‘science’ used crackpot ideas and notions to further their aim at grabbing greater control of the nation.
I believe in conservation of resources but I do not believe that we have to forego using our air conditioners or that when we do they are not going to be as efficient as they once were because the EPA does not allow us to use certain types of air conditioners for fear of damaging the environment.
Have you ever experienced the summer in Los Angeles, California, or worse, that in Bakersfield where the AICP-END Blog is located?  Man, it can be depressing to see the mercury go up and knowing that one’s bills are going to double, treble, or quadruple.  It simply is not right.
It appears that today, Senator Bernie Sanders is going to endorse Hillary Clinton at an event in New Hampshire, which I find sad.  The crusty old codger from neighboring Vermont gave her a run for her money until she overwhelmed him with the super delegates.
While I think some of his ideas might be ‘out there,’ it was clear to me that he had the good of the nation at heart on many matters.  Sadly, though, I will have to vote for Donald Trump because Hillary scares the living daylights out of me as a business owner, husband, father, and grandfather.
You see, things continue growing worse here in California and all we can do is hope that the people will wake up, smell the damned coffee and will demand that government remove itself from our backs.  Energy costs are high, the price of water astronomical in the Southland and the costs of doing business are job-killers, too, as we cannot pay everything government now demands we pay.
We have made this monster that thrives up in Sacramento because voting for Democrats election after election has put the people of the state into deep trouble.  I fear Hillary is going to make things far worse than they now are.
In closing let me say this: we need someone who can restore a sense of patriotism in the nation again instead of dividing us from one another and tearing apart the national fabric just to earn some additional votes.  We are Americans, we have won wars, we have put men on the moon, and we have sent spacecraft to the planet Pluto and beyond.
My belief is that if we can wage a war in the 1960s to endow everyone with the civil rights we all have a right to respect and to win that war, then we should be able to beat every other challenge confronting us while continuing to improve the lives of all.
At the present time, that could be a pipe dream of sorts but I have faith in my heart that we can still meet and best any challenge confronting us because we are Americans.  We have the ability, we just need someone who can lead us and who is not negative towards the country we elect them to govern and as far as I can see, that person is Donald Trump—what say you?
Thank you,
PEACE!

This is a photo of me taken at an ACF Convention back in the early 1960's when I was a representative from our California chapter.  Anyhow, I'm a great deal older than this picture now but that's what we're doing, sharing OLD pictures of all of us.  I'm still a handsome man, however!

MORE TO COME FROM THE ROLLING STONES

TUESDAY, JULY 12, 2016
The Rolling Stones released a beefed-up edition of their 1972 classic, “Exile on Main Street.”  This one, “Exile on Main Street Rarities Edition” (2010) came out on two discs in the same way they released a double album of their “Some Girls1978’ classic on two CDs.  When the Stones enter the studio, they tend to record more songs than ever see the light of day on any album and this one features Mick Taylor rejoining the Stones to help them flesh out and complete the songs they left in the vault.  This is an amazing album, one we hope you will check out simply by using the link we provide you here so you can zip on over to Amazon.com so you can nab it in the format, the condition, and the price that works best for you.  You will be so glad you did, undoubtedly.
