Democrats promote all sorts of Hypocrisy such as building Windmills for Energy, which kill Millions of Birds every Year to allowing Water to flow out to Sea even though they tell us the Sea Levels are rising

SPRING SESSION 2016

BLOGPOST #2,037 AT THE AICP-END

HAPPY FATHER’S DAY!

We cover the board today in discussing the decline of California and the liberal hypocrisy behind it
Delano, CA, 06-19-2016 Sunday: Tomorrow is the first day of summer and boy, the heat increases with the day.  June opened with temperatures in excess of 100-degree days and then it cooled down for a brief respite.  Beginning tomorrow, Monday, the heat will begin climbing again and people will have to live their lives constricted by the water regulations Sacramento forces upon us as though we imbeciles who lack the intelligence to know what is REALLY going on—fascism.
Our illustrious governor, Jerry Brown, believes in the EVILS of climate change and global warming.  According to him and his icon, Barack Hussein Obama, ‘sea levels are rising.’  Whoo-ooo. Why then would this dummy and the Democrat majority mucking up the state want water to CONTINUE flowing out to sea instead of diverting it into the magnificent system of canals and dams so the people who grow the food consumed by the nation and the world continue growing it?
They say it is to protect a small, miniscule fish, the beleaguered ‘Delta Smelt.’  They tell us that if the smelt disappears, the entire ecosystem WEST of the Rockies will decline until no one can live on the western side of the Great Divide.  Really?  Does anyone truly believe this insanity or do the liberals running the state rely on the crumbling education system that pollutes the minds of the young with history textbooks written by the communist educator, Howard Zinn.
Something else of interest to me is the number of windmills the government builds in parts of the state where they would never live but where conservatives do, the eastern portion of the state.  The windmills slaughter hundreds of thousands of birds every year, which alarms I, your host, as I am an avid bird watcher and lover.
What’s more, the insanity these various issues push to the surface is the things that cause us to view our liberal enemies as sufferers of mental disease.  Some of them tell us that ALL wildlife has more value than human life while others proclaim that the ONLY way to save the environment is to outlaw the gasoline-powered engine and to go to nothing but renewable resources of energy, i.e., wind and solar.
Well, who has the higher ranking?  I would guess that the birds can go to hell, no one cares about them, and they would rather see windmills blight entire swaths of the state to generate this phony source of energy.  Likewise, with solar, they set up massive solar farms out in the desert that fry birds as they fly above them and incinerate desert fauna below them.  Does this make any sense to you—it sure as hell makes NO sense to me!
If we do not find some sort of way with which, to topple the Democrat majorities in the Assembly and in the State Senate as well as reclaim the statewide offices from governor to controller as well as both senatorial seats, our state is going to decline thanks to the crackpot ideas the Democrats force upon the rest of us.
In effect, Los Angeles and San Francisco control the entire state and despite what everyone else wants, we are their slaves.  We pay taxes; they hammer us with more and fees, restrictions, and other less visible controls and if we manage to put an initiative on the ballot and it goes through, our state supreme court overturns it such as Proposition 8.
Proposition 8 as you might recall was one that went through with massive support from all political parties, a prop that said “NO” to same-sex marriage.  Twice, we fought for and pushed this ballot measure and twice, government in one form or another told us we ‘are bigots and we are overturning it because YOU are bigots.’
What was even more of a mind-blower is that both Democrats and Republicans worked long and hard to make sure Proposition 8 made it onto the ballot and that people turned out to support it.  Despite massive street protests—most likely funded by the communist agitator/financier George Soros—disrupted daily life and threatened some people and groups.
Christians and Mormons suffered singling out for ‘special treatment’ and the number of protests and street violence went up, purportedly caused by ‘gentle queer folks’ who merely wanted the right to be monogamous.  I am not sure what planet I may have been living on but every gay I have ever known favors as much indiscriminate sex as possible without consequences so why the sudden desire to marry?
Ah, but it is not about being monogamous with the ‘one you love,’ it was about destroying morality from one end of the country to the other and California played a major role in the farce.  Generally, what happens in California happens across the rest of the United States and even though we were not the first state to allow homosexuals to marry one another, we were among the biggest.
Then, back in 2014, we began hearing about AB 1266, the so-called “Bathroom Bill,” one pushed by gay Assemblyman Tom Ammiano from the Bay Area.  He worried night and day that trannys could not take a leak wherever they felt they should because of the rampant homophobia he felt the citizens of the state exhibited.
What a guy.  I never knew I was a ‘homophobe’ in the same way, I did not think I was an ‘Islamophobe’ but lo and behold, I learned that I was on both counts, something that began pushing me towards the right side of the aisle.
The reason I am against the now-law, AB 1266, is that it puts potential predators in proximity with potential victims, women and children.  If someone truly feels like a member of the opposite sex trapped in the body God gave them at birth, then I am sure we can find some sort of middle ground with which, to make their lives easier.  If not mental health care, then there has to be some other way with which, we can help them but first, can we not agree that we have a high number of perverts roaming the land?
If the LGBT community acknowledged that there are predators out there lurking among their ranks, then perhaps we could find common ground.  I have nothing against the gay community and feel horrible about the tragic crime we saw happen in Orlando, Florida.  I believe ALL Americans have the right to life, liberty, and freedom and that if the government fails to protect us than we must find a way to do it ourselves.
Ah, well, perhaps these ideas are little more than a ‘pipe dream,’ because the puppet masters in Sacramento and in Washington, D.C., seem to feel that what the people want—beliefs we have held since the founding of the nation, no less—do not count.  They feed their various groups with hatred for those they deem ‘villains’ and it is this misconduct and this misconception used by the Democrats that is going to destroy not only our state but also the nation.
Governor Brown, abandon high-speed rail and give us the water with which, we maintain our state as the number one state in the nation.  Quit dividing the people from one another; protect the environment while using common sense instead of drinking the liberal Kool-Aid that keeps us at one another’s throats.  We do not deserve this, hell; we do not deserve ANY of this.
What is it going to take to save the nation and the state?  I have some ideas but we will discuss them when I return in six months or whatever it is going to be.  Oh, I predict that Cleveland Cavaliers have the mojo now to smash the Golden State Warriors.  I gave my bookie a H-U-G-E bet because after what I saw in the previous two games, I think Golden State is toast.
See you next time and Happy Father’s Day!
Thank you,
Charles Smithenstein

This is a photo of me back in 1973 while being the Food and Beverage Director at one of the hotels in Bakersfield, CA, located on Union Avenue. I was in my late 30's at the time. I am still working at one of the local hotels in the nearby town of Delano, CA, a place that has been my home for the past 10 years. Our city has experienced marvelous growth and is fast becoming a player in county politics.

MORE TO COME FROM THE ROLLING STONES

SUNDAY, JUNE 19, 2016
Bill Wyman and the Rhythm Kings put out their fourth album, a definite glorious one in our opinion.  “Double Bill” hit record store shelves in 2001 and featured a stellar cast of supporting musicians from George Harrison of Beatles fame to Gary Brooker to Albert Lee and more.  The album features a glut of tunes, six written by Wyman as well as classic remakes of tracks from the 1920s and the 1930s.  The band exhibits that they love what they play and play what they love and that is why we urge everyone to seek this CD out by using the link we have for you here.  Use it to go directly to Amazon.com so you can pick this CD up in the format, the condition, and the price that works for you—you will praise us for sending you there.  Thank you for your patronage.
