I suspect that Donald Trump funded the Campaign of John Kasich so he could remain in the Race long enough to drive Senator Cruz out of it whereas Hillary on the other Side of the Aisle lacks the Energy to vanquish Senator Bernie Sanders

SPRING SESSION 2016

BLOGPOST #1,992 AT THE AICP-END

One never knows what to expect on any given day
Bakersfield, CA, 05-05-2016 Thursday: I have to say, I never quite expected what happened on Tuesday or on Wednesday when the two remaining opponents to Donald Trump vacated the race.  Some contend that Governor John Kasich could become the vice president in a Trump presidency, which would make me flipping ill.  For months now, we have questioned why the Ohioan remained in the race and whether Donald Trump was funding him so he could remain in the fight to prevent Senator Cruz from accumulating MORE delegates.  That alone should disqualify the dimwit governor from becoming anything higher than dogcatcher is and/or in any future election in which, he might choose to run.
Governor Kasich thanked God for the opportunity to run for president and I have to wonder, did God tell you to remain in the race long enough for Cruz to leave it so you could then abandon your bid, too?  It seems awfully fishy to me that this little schmuck—a man who lectured the rest of his competition in numerous debates—decided to abandon his bid after he swore, “I am going to be the nominee” and “I am not leaving the race because I am going to win it.”  What happened, governor, did the Trump campaign pull its funds from your bank accounts?
Now, I realize people are sniffing the air at what I am saying, alleging that Trump used Kasich as a monkey uses a stick to force termites out of a hole so he can eat them to cause problems for the other candidates.  I think we saw this when—last week—Senator Cruz made a deal with Governor Kasich that they would campaign only in certain remaining states they thought they had a chance in which, to do well.
As soon as the deal was made, Kasich was telling curious reporters that “Hey, I did not tell people they could not vote for me in Indiana” or words to that effect.  It was almost as if he double-crossed Senator Cruz to make him look like a turd.
I imagine Trump told Governor Kasich, “I will consider you for the vice presidential gig (even though the Ohioan said he was NOT ‘running for second place’) if you do my dirty work."  Well, it appears Governor Kasich rose to the call and remained in the race—even though he causes as much—if not more—disgust than the pundits tell us Senator Cruz causes simply from being alive.
The reason I say this is that less than 24 hours after the Texas senator gave his farewell speech, bowed out of the race, and went home to recover from the ordeal, Kasich went to the microphones and said, “Adieu.”
I think Senator Cruz was snake-bit from the start.  He has many enemies in and around Washington’s beltway because he is a man of principle.  He stands up for what he promises his voters back home and does his best to keep those promises.  The double-dealing, lying, and out-and-out crookedness that goes on in the nation’s capital around the clock disgusts the first-term senator and he works with utmost energy to restore the nation to one of “We the People.”
The Constitution is an important document, folks, it is one that has kept our nation what the Founders more or less hoped it would be over the course of the past 239 years.  Granted, some of the past few presidents have been proponents of BIG GOVERNMENT and have done their best to rob the states of the power the Founders bestowed upon them.
Even Republicans are not immune to this Siren’s call of becoming one with the whole and that is why so many people in the nation are angrier than ever and want someone of principle to sit in the White House.  Sadly, it now appears that we have a carnival barker, a gruff and mean-spirited, business tycoon, a man who brags about his past promiscuity on the road to winning the big prize.   It is not as if we already did not have Bill Clinton in the job, man, what a putz he was.
The only way to stop him is to attempt to continue voting for Ted Cruz on the remaining statewide ballots to deny Donald Trump the 1,237 delegates he needs and to continue increasing those of Senator Cruz.
Here in California, we vote in the first week of June and Cruz is on the ballot here as is—interestingly enough—Marco Rubio, John Kasich, AND Jim Gilmore.  Poor Governor Gilmore, he must have gotten himself on every state ballot before he realized that no one gave a darn about him; however, the man seems fine enough and it is too bad he did not manage to make the grade.
The thing I fear about Donald Trump is that he is going to need to begin raising large sums of cash, as without it, he has no chance in hell of winning the presidency.  I do not believe he is wealthy enough to fund the $2 billion or so that modern campaign professionals say, it requires winning the presidency.
That puts him in the crosshairs of every Hillary and Bernie supporter who want to take the big dog down a notch.  Add to this the fact that he lacks the ground game in most of the states as well as a clear plan as to how to win the big enchilada in November and one can begin seeing the holes in the entire saga of Donald Trump and his 2016 White House run.
Every day seemingly brings something new and it is never a dull moment around here or in the world.  Hillary now plans to do battle with Trump but has not yet found the ability or the opportunity to vanquish the old senator from Vermont, Bernie Sanders, who continues biting her around her flabby ankles.
Furthermore, Madam Clinton, a woman who parades around in her Chairman Mao garb should frighten the hell out of every reasonably sane person because she is going to be worse than Obama and Sanders will be worse than she will be.  However, when one stands on the precipice and the choices are one of the three, who in God’s Holy Name do we choose?  One is a fascist and the other two are communists.  We are in deep trouble, folks.
See you tomorrow and thank you for joining me today, I love hearing from you and thank you, too, for helping us drive our numbers back up; we could not do it without your daily readership.
See you tomorrow.

In 1980, the Rolling Stones released their next studio album, “Emotional Rescue,” the follow-up to “Some Girls,” and what an album it was.  At first, fans found it somewhat different, especially the title cut, but as each revolution on the record player progressed, and the album grew and grew in power until it was another fine addition to the band’s growing discography.  As always, the Stones demonstrated they could keep in step in with the times and to continue blazing trails, too, which is why we know you will love this album.  Please, use our link so you can go to Amazon.com and pick it up in the format, the condition, and the price that is best for you—you will be glad you did.
