SPRING SESSION 2016

BLOGPOST #1,959 AT THE AICP-END

In three days, Wisconsin VOTES!
Shafter, CA, 04-02-2016 Saturday: We are approaching the next big political contest of the 2016 presidential race and that is the impending battle that we see brewing in the Badger State this upcoming Tuesday.  I think we are going to see some major gains on both sides of the political aisle and I assure you, neither of the frontrunners is going to do well because of self-imposed wounds.
People, Bernie Sanders is on fire!
Bernie Sanders currently is on fire, the man continues to stump not only in Wisconsin but also in New York AND in Pennsylvania, two states looming in the distance but nowhere near this upcoming Tuesday.  New York voters go to the polls on April 19, while Pennsylvania does not hold its primaries until April 26.  Meanwhile, North Dakota had a Republican caucus yesterday while Wyoming has a Democrat caucus on April 09, the next contest AFTER Wisconsin.
April 26 is going to be H-U-G-E electoral day
Now, Pennsylvania holds their contest on the 26th along with Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, and Rhode Island so that is going to be a big day, one I believe is going to be yet another H-U-G-E GAIN for Senator Sanders and an embarrassing disaster for Hillary Clinton.
Then, on May 03, Indiana has its contest while on May 07 the Democrats caucus on Guam.  Following those two electoral contests, Nebraska and West Virginia vote on May 10, Kentucky (Democrats) and Oregon on the 17th and then the Republicans have a contest in Washington State on May 24.  Each contest is going to determine the will of the American people.
June will see the final electoral contests before the parties head towards their convention cities
Then, as the primary/caucus season moves towards its inevitable conclusion, we see the Democrats caucus in the Virgin Islands on June 04, Puerto Rico holds their Democrat caucus on June 05.  Then on the Final Super Tuesday on June 07, like the culmination of a fireworks display, the final states do their thing: California, Montana, New Jersey, New Mexico, and the Dakotas.  The concluding contest is the Democrat caucus in the nation’s capital on Tuesday, June 14 and then, mis amigos, it is off to the two conventions.
I believe most of the upcoming contests favor Senator Sanders
If we look at the calendar, I think many of the contests coming up favor Senator Sanders so that leads us to the conclusion that if Bernie wins most if not all of them, the same thing that happened to Hillary Clinton in 2008 will occur again in 2016 at the Democrat convention in Philly.
The super delegates will begin separating themselves from the Clinton camp, and will slowly morph across the dividing line separating the two and will join Senator Sanders.  Yes, Hillary will rave and rant, will threaten eternal damnation to the ‘traitors’ but it will have little to no effect because the people are weary of the Clintons.
Clinton fatigue—like Bush fatigue—is real
Clinton fatigue has become a major factor in why Hillary Clinton continues to struggle.  When we see the aged, fatigued, shell of former President Bill Clinton, we see a reprobate whom the Millennials see as a scum bum, thanks to his philandering as a man.
When they find out that he is a serial sexual defiler of women, it makes them rear in disgust and leads to the events we see where Sanders supporters go after Mrs. Clinton wherever she shows up to hold a rally.  When they do, Hillary explodes, which makes great media when TV viewers see her having meltdowns; I know it makes me laugh.
Hillary warns Bernie to ‘tone it down’…WHY
Poor Hillary!—she warns Senator Sanders to ‘change his tone’ but he has no control over these people in the same way he had no control over the anti-Trumpists who stopped the billionaire’s rally in Chicago several weeks back.
People are angry, amigos, they do not want to see the same old mierda, they want to see REAL change and Madam Clinton represents an ugly past.  In fact, she has NO redeeming qualities about here and here is the shortlist of some of the more notable problems:
When you add all of the numerous scandals ranging back to Whitewater and Monica Lewinsky, when you consider that she permitted four Americans to die at Benghazi then supported the felonious lies that Susan Rice and Samantha Powers spouted after the event back in 2012, they want nothing to do with Mrs. Clinton.
BOTH conventions are going to be major events
I think both conventions will be fraught with political tension as the ‘powers that be’ seek to undo the newcomers on the block.  Both the Democrats and the GOP conventions should be must-see events on TV as this is going to be the closest any of us living in the 1960s will see to the 1968 Chicago Democrat Party Convention.
I am telling you, those were wild and crazy times back then, amigos and BOTH conventions promise intrigue, backstabbing, and the possibility of violence in the streets.  While I approve of none of this sort of thing, it is going to be fascinating watching it.  What do you think?
I will see you tomorrow for the final day of this stint.
Muchas gracias, buen amigos, nos vemos!

The album we have for you today is an unusual one in that it is the first ‘solo’ album by Rolling Stones guitarist, Brian Jones.  His girlfriend, Anita Pallenberg, a German actress, approached him to do the soundtrack for the film in which, she was appearing, “A Degree of Murder” (1967).  Jones performed most of the instruments with help from Jimmy Page of the Yardbirds, Kenney Jones, the drummer of the Small Faces, and Nicky Hopkins on piano.  Mick Jagger and Keith Richard helped engineer the album and for decades, it has been a tough one to find but has finally seen the light of day.  If you want to hear the talented musician at his best, this is the way in which to do it.  Please, use our link to redirect your browser to Amazon.com where you can get it in the format, the condition, and the price that is right for YOU—you will be glad you did.
