It appears as though John Boehner still wants to be a ‘Player’ in the Current Election Cycle and has signified his desire to remain so by attacking Senator Ted Cruz—someone who helped him in the Past—with some very Ugly Words

SPRING SESSION 2016

BLOGPOST #1,986 AT THE AICP-END

The rise of the OUTSIDER candidates does not seem to go over well with the political apparatuses ruling the country
Frazier Park, CA, 04-29-2016 Friday: One has to wonder at the high level of turmoil taking place within the GOP over the rise of the OUTSIDER candidates and how well most of them have fared in the 2016 election cycle.  Sure, some such as Dr. Ben Carson and Carly Fiorina had to abandon ship following some depressing vote counts but folks, we have seen BOTH Carson and Fiorina rejoin the fray as the former is firmly in the Trump camp while the latter now is the VP choice of Senator Ted Cruz.  I think the OUTSIDER movement is alive and well and that by the time we arrive at the end of the final vote count, either Trump or Cruz will be in the White House and the world, as we have known it, is going to change forever.
We keep seeing all sorts of news reports showing how high the negatives are with Trump and Cruz but hell, folks, they are high on the other side of the political divide when one looks at “Crooked Hillary.”  That woman has HIGH negatives, even people firmly wedded to her camp view her as a liar, a fabricator, and that she leaves much for one to desire when it comes to her trustworthiness.  Everyone I know looks at Hillary with disgust as the more she stands in front of the crowds raving and ranting, the worse she appears and sounds.
Now, I will admit to a deeply held secret.  Friends, I listen to Rush Limbaugh because to me, he makes a full bushel of sense.  He said yesterday on his radio program that we hear on KNZR Radio here in Kern County that ‘if the negatives of Donald Trump are as high as they say, then how come everyone votes for him?’ He did, after all, win all of the counties in a number of northeastern states this past Tuesday and that, folks was very impressive for someone HUGE numbers see as a negative factor.
At the same time, we hear putzes such as former House Speaker John Boehner proclaim his ‘love’ for Donald Trump while referring to Senator Cruz as ‘Lucifer in the flesh’ and who also called the Texas senator, a ‘son-of-a-bitch.’
I heard that Cruz once represented Congressman Boehner when some schmoes happened to have ‘come across’ a cellphone communication the congressman was having while driving on the road in Florida with then House Speaker Newt Gingrich as well as other high-ranking Republicans in Congress.  The conversation revolved around the ethics charges facing Gingrich at the time and the gist of the conversation was how they might combat them.
The couple that ‘stumbled across’ this communication—John and Alice Martin—handed it over to then-House Minority Leader “Baghdad” Jim McDermott—a Democrat—who handed it over to a New York newspaper.  Now, the conversation between Gingrich and Boehner was private, government business and the couple who ‘happened across it’ as they sat in their vehicle in Florida with a tape recorder and a police scanner ended up having to pay a fine of, I think, $500.00—big whoop.
Boehner, however, launched a lawsuit against McDermott for him handing over the sensitive communication to the newspaper and Ted Cruz represented him as his lawyer.  Cruz who helped the Congressman Boehner win more than $1 million in damages for the exposure of the phone call seemingly has a short memory when it comes to who helped him win it.
Nonetheless, it appears to me that mainstream GOP politics account for far more than in maintaining a neutral attitude toward the two top candidates for the Republican nomination to run against Hillary Clinton.  Even though they proclaim the goal is to BEAT Hillary Clinton, it seems they would rather have a major defeat so they can maintain their positions and their power within the Republican Party.
What I will tell you is that I have never been enamored of John Boehner, tending to believe the man is little more than an old-style smoky backroom machinating politico who decides who politically lives and dies.  I would think that once this loser abandoned his office so he would not have to face his colleagues removing him for being such an inept failure, he would go the way of his former friend and confidante, Eric Cantor, who lost in a primary campaign to a relative newcomer to politics, Dave Brat.
Unfortunately, this is not the case, Boehner wants to remain a ‘player’ even as a loser so he has thrown his two-cents’ worth into the political fray, attacking Ted Cruz who is an attractive candidate to Libertarians.  We want liberty, we want to restore liberty to the nation, and we need someone who reveres and loves the founding documents of the nation rather than seeking to usurp them.
The reason our country is in such a disastrous mess is because excessive numbers of politicians want to topple the Constitution rather than to take their vows to uphold it seriously.  What is wrong with the nation?  Why do we have so many traitorous scumbags leading it?  Is there any possibility of restoring it the shining city on the hill at some point in the not-too-distant future?  You tell me.
While Donald Trump sounds like someone who will uphold the Constitution, the man also seems to be somewhat of a dictator-in-waiting.  If the overuse of executive orders and executive memos by Barack Hussein Obama outrages us, it seems loud and clear that Donald Trump will go even deeper down this dark path with the same tools that we so despise.
We still have some time to thwart the Trumpster and Hillary but the number of minutes continues dwindling, we are running out the clock on our nation and I have no idea whatsoever as to who is going to claw his or her way to the top.  However, what I do know is that this election counts for more than any of us can even sense over the horizon so I would hope people will do the right thing and avoid potential dictators.
Please, leave some comments and we will discuss them.  Thank you so much.
Thanks, my friends.
