SPRING SESSION 2016

BLOGPOST #1,973 AT THE AICP-END

Hiatus Day Number 7
San Luis Obispo, CA, 04-16-2016 Saturday: Tomorrow will be the final day of my stint this time around and all I can say, “It’s time to get roaring drunk tomorrow night!”  Do not get me wrong, those of us who can trace our family lineage back to the Emerald Isle are not necessarily heavy-duty drinkers; no, we just like to drink, it is as simple as that.  I think the more we watch the 2016 political campaign continue, the more we need to imbibe stronger and more powerful drinks.  I mean, listening to Donald Trump whine, moan, and bitch, makes me think of an old, washerwoman crying about how the world continues wronging her.
Let me give you some advice: Donald, grow up, become a man, quit resorting to the tactics demagogues use, things never work well for them, have you not ever read, “All the King’s Men?”  That book—written by Robert Penn Warren—might enlighten you how history deals with thuggish politicians surrounded by whack-a-doodle supporters.  Things did not end well for the fictitious Governor Willie Stark of a Southern state because he was a demagogue of the most notorious kind.
I am not saying that what happened to Governor Long should happen to you; what I am saying is that sometimes we invite adverse results to befall us because we are schmucks.  Quit with the sniveling, the whining, the bitching and the moaning; grow a pair, become a man, and follow the rules of the game.
As for what you and your cronies and possibly FOX News did to Senator Ted Cruz last night at the big New York GOP Gala event in New York City—pulling his microphone and playing up the ambient crowd noises in the room as Mr. Cruz gave his speech—is appalling.  Hell, it is beyond appalling and while I know you have legions of crazed supporters, I hope the GOP leadership can find a way to derail your speeding train over a cliff.  I hope they do it in such a way that you find your big fat face with the comb-over hair embarrassed for the REST of your trashy life.
Folks, leave some comments for me because my time this year is most likely over and done, I doubt I will be here later in the year so please, share your thoughts with me.  I want to hear from EVERYONE.  Thank you!
Thank you, my friends!

MORE TO COME FROM THE ROLLING STONES

SATURDAY, APRIL 16, 2016
In 1972, the Rolling Stones released another ‘best of’ compilation CD, this one also a two-LP set, “More Hot Rocks, Big Hits and Fazed Cookies.”  This CD concentrated on alternate cuts from the early days as well as some of the B-sides on singles that never made it onto a studio album.  There was a pair of tunes from the psychedelic era that we absolutely love, “Child of the Moon,” and “We Love You.”  We urge you to use our link so you can redirect your browser to Amazon.com so you can pick it up there in the format, the condition, and the price that is right for you—you will be glad you did, no doubt about it.
