SPRING SESSION 2016

BLOGPOST #1,966 AT THE AICP-END

New York is the battleground state now
San Luis Obispo, CA, 04-09-2016 Saturday: Yesterday, I shared my thoughts with you on the state of the political race in the United States and man, oh, man, has it become much more interesting than ever before.
On the GOP side of the battle raging to win the nomination, it appears that Donald Trump is on solid home ground fighting in New York City to knock out both Ted Cruz and the dimwit John Kasich.
However, in upstate New York, people dance to a different tune and they are much more conservative except of course in college towns, but still are more akin to the heartland of America than the big city and bright lights of the city.
I think Ted Cruz is going to do better than expected in the Empire State
I suspect that Ted Cruz might do better than expected because he has plenty of time to make a major move in New York before voting commences on Tuesday, April 19.  Right now, the Donald is out there blasting the good senator with his constant shouts of “Lyin’ Ted, lyin’ Ted, he puts one hand on the Bible, holds up the other and begins lying.”
I cannot tell you how tired I have become of this stupid refrain, Trump lacks the knowledge needed to govern the nation and instead continues to belittle and to insult his competition.  We all know what Senator Cruz meant about ‘New York values’ because we have the same crap here in very liberal California.
On the road to La Reconquista
Most people in the long ago ‘Golden’ State are conservative.  We live in small towns, mid-size cities, and other locales but the big cities of Los Angeles and San Francisco (and the surrounding Bay Area)—as well as San Diego to some extent—‘call the shots’ like a Mafia don.
We go to the polls and vote conservatively but only the wants and needs of the two big metropolises dictate what is going to happen.  We have not had a Republican (or a Libertarian—ever!) in a statewide office or in one of the senate seats in a long, long time, and it appears that we are now an outpost on Mexico’s road to La Reconquista.
Do you think we like living under millions of illegal aliens?
Do you think we like living beneath a sea of poorly educated, unhealthy, and filthy foreigners from south of the border or that we invite them here on our own volition?  No, of course not but our state government advertises deep in Mexico of all the benefits the average illegal alien can receive if he or she and their families come along with them.
The issue of stopping illegal immigration was one of the major issues that attracted MANY of us to join the Donald Trump bandwagon until he went off the rails nuts because we want that wall, we need the wall, and someone has to stop this inflow of people who could care less about us.
Senator Cruz wants ‘border security’ as do we
Senator Ted Cruz continues to tell us he wants the same thing—border security—and a wall, which is why, many of us like him.
We cannot understand why our government allows the nation to suffer overrunning of its real estate and its institutions with millions of illegals who want to reclaim the state and the region as part of flipping Mexico.  Enough is enough and yet, thanks to the Obama administration in Washington, DC, and the Brown administration in Sacramento, our views, needs and wants mean nothing.
We cannot turn illegals away from employment while the federal law still says ‘we cannot hire illegal aliens.’  The hammer and the anvil on illegal immigration trap the people between the two on this and many other topics here within the state.
Both Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders sound like Scientologists
As time has gone by, I realize that Donald Trump is the same tired one-trick pony as is Senator Sanders.  They recite the same repetitious nonsense as though they were Scientologists attempting to brainwash new converts.
This should concern everyone because how soon is it going to be before adherents of Donald Trump and disciples of Bernie Sanders begin using E-meters to determine the level of commitment to the greater hive of followers.
I do not think anyone has seen the sort of devotion towards Trump and Sanders since our parents and/or grandparents watched the rise of Fascism across the landscape of Europe in the last century.  It scares the hell out of me and it should scare you, too.
WAKE UP!
I hope in the end intelligent people wake up, smell the danger here, and begin breaking away and moving to someone other than any Democrat or Donald Trump.  I think Republicans need to push away from the Trumpster and gravitate towards Ted Cruz.
Senator Cruz is the ONLY one who can win in November, not Trump, not Kasich, and certainly NOT Hillary or Bernie.  It is a real shame we cannot build the Libertarian Party up from the ground floor because we have a great party, one that promotes true LIBERTY.  We need a third party as my friend, colleague and fellow Libertarian Gervais Krinkelmeier says.
What is wrong with John Kasich?
In the end, let me ask a question: what the hell is wrong with John Kasich?  Who funds the boob?  At one time, when he was in the Congress, he seemed like a good man.  He also made a good impression when he used to fill in for the overblown Bill O’Reilly on Fox News.
Once he left to run for the governorship of Ohio, all seemed well, but now we hear that MANY of his so-called accomplishments are not that ‘accomplished.’
It sure seems there are numerous bull-shitters roaming the land, which is sad, because it leaves us with few choices when it comes to picking the next president.  I am telling you, we need to build the Libertarian Party into a strong third party with which, to combat the dregs of the other two.
What’s more, I am telling you, both mainstream parties’ top candidates—with the exception of Senator Cruz—all appear to be Scientologist converts peddling Kool-Aid to their dimwit minions.
See you tomorrow.  Bye.
Thank you, my friends!

MORE TO COME FROM THE ROLLING STONES

SATURDAY, APRIL 09, 2016
In 1971, the Rolling Stones released a compilation album in Great Britain, “Stone Age,” a record containing some of their absolute best rock music from the beginning to the present.  The Stones record gobs of songs, some that come out in Europe or in America but seldom in both or they appear as B-sides on singles.  Brian Jones was a talented musician and there is no doubt among fans of the band just how great a musician he might have become had he not suffered expulsion from the band he founded and then drowned in his own swimming pool.  Please, use our link so you can go to Amazon.com and pick it up in the format, the condition, and the price that is right for YOU—you will be glad you did.
