SPRING SESSION 2016

BLOGPOST #1,953 AT THE AICP-END

EASTER SUNDAY

Welcome to the Easter Sunday 2016 Edition at the American Institute of Culinary Politics-Elemental News of the Day
Kula, HI, 03-27-2016 Sunday: Today is Easter Sunday, perhaps the holiest day of the year or the second, depending on whether you place Christmas first or see the resurrection of Jesus Christ as more important.  I personally see both as being essential to modern Western culture when it seems there are so many diversions aimed at young people causing them to fall away from the Church.
I was watching Bill O’Reilly’s program on Thursday night and have to admit that I was shocked watching the segment featuring Jesse Watters—Mr. O’Reilly’s ‘man on the street’ interviewer.  Mr. Watters asked people what they knew about Easter Sunday and most of them knew little to nothing.
I find it shocking that Generation X-ers would not continue religious training given them by their Baby Boomer parents but it certainly seems to be the case.  Add to the lack of religious training and then you see the constant pushing of SOCIALISM and worse, COMMUNISM through the public education system.
We must do something about all of this abuse of our kids and grandkids because when we depart the world for the Kingdom of Heaven, we will leave behind us non-religious people and the world will indeed go to hell.
Let us now pick up where we left off yesterday with yet more Moody Blues albums as well as records by the band’s individual members.

“Octave” by the Moody Blues
In 1978, the Moody Blues returned to the world of rock-and-roll with the original lineup back on board.  The band released its newest studio CD, “Octave,” which put the band right back to where they were in their heyday.
As always, the band’s music is classic progressive rock with its own unique ethereal flair, something that always brings the listeners actively into it.
We urge everyone to seek this CD out by using our link to redirect you to Amazon.com where you can pick it up in the format, the condition, and the price that is right for you, your ears, and your pocketbook so go there now and grab it—you will be so glad you did!

“Out of this World” by the Moody Blues
The next album by the British rock band, the Moody Blues, came out in 1979 and was the band’s third ‘best of’ compilation, hitting GOLD in the United Kingdom.  Entitled “Out of this World,” the CD contains the band’s music more-or-less up-to-date with music from the beginning through the present.  You can buy this one at Amazon.com by using the convenient link provided for you here.

“Street Café—threw it all away” by John Lodge of the Moody Blues
The next album we have for you today is the next release by John Lodge.  The record by Mr. Lodge hit record store shelves in 1980 and it bears the title, “Street Café—threw it all away.”  John is one of two main parts of the Moody Blues, working with Justin Hayward or writing solo and the two together fronts the band and continues to do so until today.
We love this band and its individual members and all you need to do is to use the expedient link we provide you here so you can journey to Amazon.com and pick up not just this CD but the preceding one, too, in the format, the condition, and the price that fits both you and your budget.  Please—go there now and buy both—you will be glad you did.

“Long Distance Voyager” by the Moody Blues
1981, was a great year for fans of the Moody Blues, as the group put out one of their best albums to date, “Long Distance Voyager.”  This CD contained the monster comeback hit, “Gemini Dreams,” as well as numerous others, and is definitely the album to buy by the band.
Patrick Moraz—the talented Swiss musician—was the keyboardist now, having replaced a road-weary Mike Pinder, an album or so back and never missed a beat.
The mix of the band is classic, it is as if they never took a hiatus of several years and if you have not yet introduced the music of this phenomenal British band, now is the time in which, to do so, so please—use our link to redirect you to Amazon.com
There, you can buy it for about $5.00 (CD and MP3), $3.00 (classic LP form), and even under a buck for cassette.  Do not deny your ears this bone-thrilling recording as it is among the all-time favorites of the American Institute of Culinary Politics-Elemental News of the Day.

“Night Flight” by Justin Hayward of the Moody Blues
The next CD by guitarist/vocalist Justin Hayward of the Moody Blues—“Night Flight”—came out in 1980.  As with his previous album, “Songwriter,” Hayward shows that he has so much talent that he can step outside the Moody Blues and do so with ability, stamina, and talent.
This CD is a great one that his fans proclaim to the highest peaks in the world of music.  We urge you to seek this one out along with the next album we have for you:

“The Present” by the Moody Blues
The Present” (1983) by the Moody Blues.  This album was the follow-up to “Long Distance Voyager” but for some reason it did not garner the attention it so deserved.  The four core band members put out a solid dozen tunes with each band member contributing to them along with keyboardist Patrick Moraz who replaced Mike Pinder in the group.
We love this CD, which is why we suggest to you that using our links, you go to Amazon.com NOW and grab both of them—you will be so glad you did!  Thank you for your support, without it, we would flounder about like a Democrat out of someone else’s money!  That is a joke, folks, LOL.

“Voices in the Sky” by the Moody Blues
The next album by the British rock band, the Moody Blues, came out in 1984 and was entitled, “Voices in the Sky—the Best of the Moody Blues.”  This CD contains between 10 and 12 songs, depending upon whether you buy the U.S. or the UK version of the CD and for the uninitiated is a great way of introducing the music of this classic band to one’s ears and possibly those of their friends and family.  You will love this CD so please seek it out at Amazon.com, something you can do simply by using our link but first check out the NEXT CD:

“Moving Mountains” by Justin Hayward of the Moody Blues
The next CD by guitarist/vocalist Justin Hayward of the Moody Blues—“Moving Mountains”—came out in 1985.  This CD is a collection of the singer-songwriter-guitarist’s favorite songs from his solo career and is therefore a great way for one to hear the difference between the man’s music as a solo artist compared with his group work by buying BOTH CDs and giving them a lengthy listen.
Please, use our links to enrich your ears, mind, and hearts with music by the man and his band, you will be so glad you did, so use our links to go to Amazon.com now.  You can send us thank you notes later when you have time.  God bless and thank you!

“The Other Side of Life” by the Moody Blues
The Moody Blues released their next CD in 1986, “The Other Side of Life,” a polished, radio-friendly CD that spawned one big hit, “Your Wildest Dreams” along with several lesser cuts that delight the ears, minds, and hearts of the listeners.  The album contains nine great additions to the band’s growing discography and even though the 1980’s was a somewhat difficult time for bands out of the 1960’s, the group shows that it still has what it takes to rock the socks off its listeners.

“Prelude” by the Moody Blues
The other CD we have for you today is also by the group, entitled, “Prelude,” it came out in 1987 and features music the group recorded after it underwent changes in its original lineup and Justin Hayward joined forces with John Lodge and the Moody Blues
There are a dozen tunes here that show the listener the direction in which, the band would go and if you do not think that is special, and then you must be a fan of flipping Maroon Five and bonehead Adam Levine
Please, use our links to redirect you to Amazon.com where you can snap up both in the format, the condition, and of course, the price that is right for YOU!  Thank you for your patronage.

Easter is a very important holiday, one we must celebrate so as to keep the Muslims from prohibiting everything we love
I hope you will celebrate Easter with your family, friends, and coworkers—if you have that sort of relationship with them—because this is a very important holiday.  Unfortunately, we have seen how the encroachment of Islam into America and the rest of the Western World have negative consequences for both our Jewish and Christian friends.
As they creep through the woodwork and into the bowels of our society, the Muslim ‘immigrants’ wail, moan, and bitch about things ranging from dogs to hogs and everything in between.
We people here in Hawaii LOVE eating pork and yet the Muslims, if they could would prohibit our use of it in everything from roast pork at luaus to pork sausage for breakfast.  We must stop the insanity by keeping Muslims from entering the country.
Thank you for joining me today, I suspect—the Good Lord willing—we will meet again in about four months, smack dab in the middle of the 2016 presidential campaign.  Aloha.
Aloha!

MORE TO COME FROM THE ROLLING STONES

SUNDAY, MARCH 27, 2016
The seventh album by the Rolling Stones, “Aftermath,” (1967) was a groundbreaking album in the same way the Beatles’ “Rubber Soul” and “Revolver” were.  Times were indeed changing, no doubt, about it, and the first entry of psychedelica and loads of pot were beginning to transform music from simple rock to more complex tunes.  Every song on this album, Jagger-Richard penned, including a lengthy tune, “Going Home,” that was more than 11-minutes long, something unheard of at the time.  The band was adding instruments and different sounds to the point that the experimentation was blowing minds and turning on those who opted to let their feet and minds rise from the ground.  We hope you will seek this CD out by using our link so you can go to Amazon.com and pick it up there in the format, the condition, and the price that is right for you—you will be glad you did.
