Today, we discuss the Democrat Debate and how the Democrats all push the Same Thing—Minimum Wage Hikes, White Cops shooting Young Black Men, and the Crowd went Wild—too Bad it was all a BIG LOAD of Dreck

WINTER SESSION 2015-16

BLOGPOST #1,886 AT THE AICP-END

We discuss the Democrat Debate of Sunday Night today
Oildale, CA, 01-20-2016 Wednesday: Okay, on Sunday night, the Democrats held their debate on NBC-YouTube together as one with moderators Lester Holt and the aged Andrea Mitchell.  I have to say it was interesting to see the three candidates—Bernie Sanders, Martin O’Malley, and Hillary Clinton—go at one another and do a good job of it.  No matter what you hear anyone say or whatever you might read in either the newspaper or in online blogs, the debate was actually good and once again, in the humble opinion of your correspondent, the two men cleaned the clock of the former first lady and senator.
The Three Democrats gave the same Answers to the Same Questions (more or less)
The Democrats gave the same answers to most questions, whether it was crushing the wealthy or taking away guns, to giving women equal pay for equal work, to raise the minimum wage to doing even more to provide healthcare to all Americans including the 20-28 million people who lack insurance and adequate healthcare.
What?--I thought the Affordable Care Act already insured the people who lacked medical insurance—I thought that was the entire purpose behind destroying the American healthcare system.  Since when has it left still more people uninsured, they must be talking about illegals.
Additionally, they also want to close the fictional gun show loophole, the one they continually trot out in their efforts to restrict guns in the hands of the American people.
On top of that, they all want to jump the minimum wage to $15.00 per hour yet no one ever mentions how that just drives wages up and can set in motion inflation—all of them are crazy.
Hillary always wants to take it one-step further than her two challengers do
When Hillary Clinton succeeded Senator Bernie Sanders with her opening statement, she, too, wanted to restrict guns in the hands of the American people mentioning Dylann Roof and the ‘Charleston Loophole,’ another gun show loophole of which, I was not aware—I thought the FBI botched that one.
She also congratulated the good people of South Carolina that they no longer see the Rebel flag fluttering above their schools and their state and federal buildings to which the audience cheered and whooped it up.
There were members of the Congressional Black Caucus sitting there in the audience to provide support, as there were survivors of the shoot out at the Charleston church, the one Roof shot up after sitting in the Bible study group for more than 90 minutes.
Unfortunately, none of the things she mentioned would have changed the ability of that punk to buy the gun he used to commit the crime.
Martin O’Malley actually sounds pretty damned good
Martin O’Malley, former Maryland governor and mayor of Baltimore spoke of all the things he has done to prohibit guns from ending up in the hands of criminals noting that with determination, cool minds can get things done.
To listen to him, he is the only one with consistent work towards protecting all citizens from gun violence, that he has passed numerous laws prohibiting firearms from falling into the wrong hands and that he has visited kids in the hospital who have suffered gunshot wounds through no fault of their own.
He seems kind, compassionate and forward-looking unlike his two elderly competitors.  Yet, the Democrats keep him in low digits in the polls, why do they do this?
Lester Holt noted that Bernie Sanders is not capturing the black vote
Lester Holt—a newsperson who we respect very much—said to Bernie Sanders that it looks like he is losing the black vote to Hillary Clinton in Iowa and in New Hampshire.  The wild-haired senator disputed that statement noting that the polls continue to close in both of the early voting states.  According to him, he is doing far better in the polls that count than is Hillary Clinton and that he plans to win both Iowa and New Hampshire.
Lester Holt asked Hillary Clinton if ‘people have forgotten the Walter Scott shooting in North Charleston…’
Lester Holt asked Hillary Clinton about ‘have we as a people forgotten the tragedy of Walter Scott, a man shot in the back by a white police officer on April 04, 2015 in North Charleston, South Carolina?’
If you recall, Officer Michael Slager—removed from the police force following this horrendous crime and facing trial on first-degree murder charges shot Mr. Scott eight times in the back as he jumped from his car and attempted to scurry away.
No one knows why the officer shot him but when a bystander shot the video, the nation became outraged once, the American people saw this horrendous crime.
White cops shooting young black men, the GOP should never discuss it but the Democrats can throw all the racist comments they want
Hillary went into the spiel of white cops shooting young black men, which from what we have seen seems to be somewhat prevalent in America.  I never thought I would say this and given the numbers of the population and the amount of violent crimes going down, it still outrages the senses to see some disgusting crime such as this.  However, to fan the flames of these isolated tragic incidents for political gain is something the Democrats seem adept at doing with no consideration for all of the pain, misery, and civil unrest they cause.  We need to hear solutions and not incitements and yet, that is what the Democrats have done.  We will continue with more on their debate tomorrow.
We will continue tomorrow…
I think our blog is going to revert to the way we originally did it because scheduling times for various chefs to come in and do their thing is becoming more and more problematic all the time.
Originally, at the old blog, it was the title and the post that was it, it was enough.  We may put the music album and the Beverly Carrick original artwork in a separate post published on the same day.  We would do this so people that wish to see the paintings and the advertised music can look at them there while those that wish to read the opinions of the culinary professionals who are kind enough to devote their time here at the AICP-END blog can do that.  Let us know what you think.
I will see you tomorrow.
Thank you,

In 1984, Steve Winwood released his next album—another BIG SMASH HIT—“Back in the High Life.”  This album returned Winwood to the pinnacle of rock-and-roll power, which was the ‘high life’ indeed.  Two songs—the title cut and “Higher Love”—made this album a massive seller, one worthy of purchase by the entire world.  This album differed from past solo efforts in that it included gobs of big-name musicians who all contributed to the overall effort that brought it major success.  If you have not had the opportunity to hear this CD, then by all means, you need to use our link to go to Amazon.com so you can get it in the format, condition, and the price that is right for YOU—you can thank us later.

  1. As is the norm, Moses discusses the politics of the day, which in this case, is the Democrat debate from Sunday night. I agree with what he said the past couple of days that something is wrong with the DNC chair, Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, who seemingly is in the tank with Hillary and no one else. Could she be the possible VP candidate on a Clinton ticket or is she just a hateful bitch? You tell me what you think and we will debate the hell out of it. Thank you. / Posted by Chef Cheryl La Tigre of the American Institute of Culinary Politics-Elemental News of the Day.
