The GOP Opening Round Debate featuring Fiorina, Huckabee, and Santorum was a GREAT Start to the First Debate of 2016 and all Three of the Candidates did EXTREMELY Well—Rand Paul, however, should exit the Race Now and take Jeb with him

BLOGPOST #1,881 AT THE AICP-END

“Hillary Clinton craves Power”—Carly Fiorina to Lou Dobbs in the Post Debate

Last Night was GOP Debate Night
Oildale, CA, 01-15-2016 Friday: Last night, the FOX Business Network (FBN) held the final debate before the Iowa Caucus and the New Hampshire and South Carolina primaries take place in less than three weeks as well as the FIRST debate of the New Year, 2016.  The undercard featured three candidates, former Senator Rick Santorum, former Governor Mike Huckabee, and business mogul Carly Fiorina who seems to have problems maintaining a presence of the BIG stage.  This is sad because Ms. Fiorina as with the other two deserves to be there because she is a knowledgeable person and has command of the issues.  Listening to her speak following the debate told us that she might have the best ground game going in those three pivotal states.
Rand Paul, the irascible senator from Kentucky whom the polls placed on the undercard announced that since he is a ‘big candidate deserving of being on the BIG stage,’ then he would not participate in the opening round.’  Hmmm, Senator Paul, you have just allowed pride to remove you from all further debates as well as any remote chance of making it to the nomination.
Sadly, I have to say that at least your father stuck it out and fought for his views while you, sir, think you can circumnavigate around the backside and somehow creep back onto the main stage.  I simply do not believe you can do it—make a liar out of me.
Perhaps if Senator Paul goes third party, he might manage to get onto some of the state ballots but I doubt it, you are ‘put away wet, sir, just like a hard-ridden horse.’  Pride can be a flipping bitch sometimes, senator—you might even lose your reelection bid in your home state, which would not upset me as the Paul Family—of which you are a member--seems to be so of, uh, ‘quirky.’
The Opening Round Last Night lasted for ONE Hour
The first debate featuring the three candidates had a running time of ONE hour.  The first question the moderators posed was the candidates’ assessment of the state of the U.S. economy.  Carly Fiorina was up first and she took a shot at Hillary Clinton about how much she, Ms. Fiorina, enjoys spending time with HER husband unlike the Democrat female candidate.  Fiorina pointed out that the economy is not good despite whatever President Obama said about ‘how much it has improved since he came to office.’  Yeah, right.
Governor Huckabee also had something to say on the topic; he slammed the economy under the command of Barack Obama pointing out that Obama ‘should stand in the layaway line at Wal-Mart’ if he wants to see how good it is.  The governor mentioned ‘the woman who scrubs toilets for 15 hours a day, not because she wants to work that many hours or do that job but because the Obama economy has forced her into that tragic circumstance, forcing her to work two part-time jobs to make ends meet,’ wearing out her soul in the process.
Senator Santorum said that ‘all one has to do is to listen to the Democrats debate, that to listen to them, things are bad and that they want to fix them, that all people need do is to look at the disaster in South Carolina, the Palmetto State, the one hosting the debates and how bad things are there.  The crowd erupted in massive applause because things suck for them as they do everywhere else.
Only government continues to do better because thanks to the Democrats, it continues to suck the lifeblood out of the nation, driving it deeper and deeper into debt.  I have to say that having said the other day that perhaps some of these candidates need to leave the race, well, I feel differently now.
Why does Obama seemingly want to make America VULNERABLE to its enemies?
We then moved onto world affairs.  From that point forward, things went downhill FAST for the Obama administration in particular and for the Democrats in general.  ‘The problem with our president,’ according to Ms. Fiorina ‘is that HE NEVER responds to ANY provocations by our enemies.’  She pointed to the recent seizure of two U.S. Navy patrol boats taken hostage by the Iranians for 15 hours and how the scum forced our sailors onto their knees for the TV cameras.  This issue would reappear in the later debate.
Rick Santorum was outraged at how the jihadists threaten America and how no one in the administration stands up to their BLATANT threats.  He urged cadets from the Citadel Military Academy in the audience to stand up so we could applaud them and assured them that he, as president, would stand up for them.  He pointed to the movie, “13 Hours,” and how the Obama administration abandoned Americans to die simply because of politics.  The president said he had licked terrorism prior to Election Day 2012 and Benghazi made him out to be a lying schmuck, a schmutz, a putz, and a schmo.
Should we continue allowing in ‘Syrian Refugees’ after what we saw take place in Europe on New Year’s Eve?
The next question that came up had to do with the ‘refugee’ crisis and the rapes that took place in Europe over the New Year’s Eve and Day celebrations.  Numerous European women suffered sexual abuse at the roving gangs of North African and Arab men, outrages, which the police had a difficult time controlling—there were so many attacks, assaults, and threats.
The Europeans did their best to cover it up but word began to spread about this outrageous activity, what would Ms. Fiorina, as president, do about this troubling problem?
Business mogul Fiorina obviously thinks that the entire refugee ‘program’ has backfired and that we need to stop bringing in anymore of these people until we know who they are, from whence they come, and whether or not they are terrorists or people truly in need of help.  This is something that Donald Trump in the later debate would stand firm on and receive thunderous applause (see tomorrow’s post).  What we cannot do is to allow what we see happening in Europe to occur here, the number one job of the government is to protect the country and to protect the American people, something Barack Hussein Obama has not done and that leads all attentive readers to ponder WHY?
Is the ‘Gun Show Loophole’ REAL?
One of the next questions to come up related to the issue of guns and how easy it is to buy them in the country and what to do about the number of gun crimes we see here in the United States.  Governor Huckabee said that ‘first, we cannot do something so insane as Fast & Furious,’ if you recall the Obama administration’s plan of allowing Mexican criminals to buy guns here in the country and then walk them across the border for use in their miserable drug war—this was his first attempt at stoking up false anger at gun owners.
He thought that when the American people saw what was happening in neighboring Mexico, we would demand government—out of a sense of moral outrage--to stop the flow of guns and perhaps take away private ownership of firearms, asking everyone to hand them over for safekeeping.  It backfired and here is why:
I think most people recall that we lost a Border Patrol officer and one or two DEA agents thanks to the allowing of straw buyers to walk guns across the border and no law enforcement agency has ever held anyone to account in the administration for this abysmal failure of law.  The Obamaists did not think it would blowback in their faces but it did—BIG TIME.
Governor Huckabee went on and blasted President Obama on the phony issue of “the Gun Show Loophole,” the one in which—so says the president—that people can buy a gun easier than buying groceries at the store.’  This is clearly a disingenuous statement yet that is what the president does all the time: he says things without any concern as to whether or not American people know he is lying, he could care less if the citizens catch him lying—he was after all and most likely still is a community agitator, uh, I mean, organizer.’
Furthermore, as Governor Huckabee said, “most of the mass shootings happen in gun-free zones,’ something else that he would change as president.  Give people the right to defend themselves and they will do the right thing; however, communists normally do not concur with this line of reasoning.
Should we prohibit Muslims from entering the nation until we ‘know what is going on?’
One of the other questions asked by the moderators was the question based on what Donald Trump wanted to do, mainly ‘not to let Muslims continue entering the country until we know what the heck is going on.’  Again, Governor Huckabee said that the ‘president’s number one job is protecting the American people’ and that this president fails to do that; hence that is why Trump says what he said—people are angry at the lack of protection.
Likewise, of the number of hate crimes that we have seen take place in the country over the past several years of Barack Obama’s presidency, of 5,500 reported hate crimes, the bulk of them occurred against Jewish Americans and NOT Muslim Americans.  Why then does President Obama not demand that we protect our Jewish citizens from attacks instead of worrying about whitewashing Islam, protecting the religion instead of calling it out for the horrible things its adherents do.  It is not Christians or Jews committing the bulk of the HATE CRIMES but the followers of the ‘religion of peace.’
Why does Barack Obama seem intent on empowering the Iranian Mullahs to ‘nuke up’ when we should be discouraging them?
Another question the moderators asked was ‘about national security and why Barack Obama seems so deadest against doing something about it’ went to Senator Santorum.  The Pennsylvanian expressed dismay at the lack of attention that President Obama gives to the nation’s infrastructure in the case of attack, primarily the electrical grid should Iran or another malevolent world actor hit with an EMP strike.  This could totally leave the nation wide open to a massive attack by our enemies and instead of doing what we must do to take the appropriate steps to protect and to defend it, the president has more concern for helping Iran go nuclear ALL THE WAY.
One must ask his-or-herself why President Obama is so damned ambivalent at best and so in the tank at worst when it comes to protecting and promoting the Iranians instead of the American people.  There is no doubt that the former senator believes strongly in national defense and that the strengthening of our enemies instead of working to stop their devious desires demands that we elect a strong president to defend the nation—he feels that he is the man for the job and could very well be.
Senator Rand Paul might as well leave the race—the man is a LOSER with a capital “L”
In closing for today—we will discuss the main event tomorrow—it is clear that all three candidates (woe to Senator Paul) believe that a strong America with a renewed social, God-fearing fabric, one that believes in traditional marriage, childrearing, education, economic opportunities, and less government is the prescription to restoring our flagging country.
All three of the candidates did well, none abused the other two nor did they criticize or go after the other candidates who would follow two hours after the end of the first debate.  We need to restore and save our nation, to repair the seven-plus years (plus another year to come) of the rule of Barack Hussein Obama.  All agree that the reign of the 44th president has been the most destructive one we have ever seen in our lifetime—it is as if we have elected a dybbuk to the White House and not a flesh-and-blood human being.
In conclusion, only a Republican can do this and certainly not anyone in the other party.  If Hillary Clinton or Bernie Sanders were to win the White House, the nation as we know it would be over as we know it. The opening round last night was a great display of patriotism, the American can-do spirit, and the belief that a return to the ways of the past is the way to move towards a renaissance of sorts.
If we can work together to stop any further damage, we might be able to save the country from the abyss into which, the 44th president has placed it.  Please, join me tomorrow and we will begin discussing the main debate in detail as well as looking back at the first one if we need to do so.
We are the ONLY blog to discuss both debates, we believe the candidates in the first round are as qualified as are the ones in the second round.  I feel bad for Senator Rand Paul; he holds the responsibility for having destroyed any chance he might have had to compete for the nomination.  Ah, sometimes pride, as I said earlier, can cause more problems than we anticipate—oy vey. Thank you.
Thank you,

In 1980, Steve Winwood released what would become a monster album for him.  “Arc of a Diver,” which contained a massive hit for him, “When You See a Chance,” blasted into the top ten of the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States, hitting No. 7 and then No. 3.  The strength of the album sales would put Winwood in one of the top recording and touring acts.  Even more impressive, Steve played all of the instruments from guitars to keyboards to drums.  If you want to hear an album reminiscent of the crème de la crème of Traffic’s later recordings, well, this is the album that you need to buy.   Please, use our link to get it at Amazon.com and once there, get it in the format, the condition, and the price that is right for YOU—you will be glad you did.

  1. Moses discusses the GOP undercard debate from last night on the Fox Business Network, a debate I did my best not to view. I despise Republicans but I have to admit that having read the post by Mr. Scharbug that I am impressed at how well Republicans must see it. The GOP is a party of hate, their leader; Donald Trump is a hateful bigot (although I have no problem with keeping the Muslims out of the country-amen to that, Trump). The rest of their debate however seems to be how much can we tear down the accomplishments of the first black president as well as how to defeat the first female soon-to-be-president Hillary Clinton. They are haters, bigots, dislike foreigners, want to do all sorts of regressive stuff that will minimize minorities, strip us of our power, and return us to the era of Jim Crow, the Ku Klux Klan, ‘separate but equal,’ and lynchings. I urge everyone to watch the Democrats on Sunday night; you will see real political mojo there and none of this phony, rock-and-roller, good-times, happy days yuck. How soon will it be before the Republicans tell us ‘they are going to put a chicken in every pot?’ Shame on them, woe to them, God bless the Democrat Party of the United States and God damn the lying scum that populate the GOP. Please join us today and see what Moses has to say about how great the GOP was last night and then check out tomorrow when Moses discusses the main round of this farce.
