WINTER SESSION 2015-16

BLOGPOST #1,871 AT THE AICP-END

Today, I find that I have to discuss other things and to let the top stories from 2015 languish for a while...
Oildale, CA, 01-05-2016 Tuesday: I have to admit, there are times when nothing seems to shock me and watching Hillary Clinton campaign as a ‘victim,’ using the thing between her legs as her ‘tool’ to elicit sympathy and pity from the American voters boggles my mind.  Her husband ranks among the top serial sexual predators, a man who took advantage of women, abused and used the gentler sex for his own perverted needs, and who, if we are to believe the testimony of Juanita Broderick, used force to attain his ultimate goals, getting between their legs.
Oy vey, folks, I cannot understand how Hillary is not embarrassed as hell doing and saying the things she does and expecting that Donald Trump is not going to use both her actions and her husband’s against her.  It is going to be fun to watch, I assure you.  If there is one thing we always know about liberals is that their ability to lie is unsurpassed by anyone on the Republican side, even the ‘ogre,’ Richard M. Nixon.   He only dreamed of doing the things Hillary, Bill, and Barack Hussein Obama have done and yet, the first three continue to act as though they are as pure as the wind-driven snow.
Donald Trump seems to be attracting the once-powerful ‘Reagan Democrats’
Something else I feel compelled to mention is the fact that Donald Trump, the man who continues to rule atop every poll I have seen continues to bring in record crowds.  His campaign events attract thousands of supporters, people from all sides of the political aisle, akin to what Ronald Reagan used to attract, the old ‘Reagan Democrats.’  Trump may be rough and gruff, he might call names and infer that some such as JEB are ‘losers,’ (which is true, by the way), but he has the vision with which, to lead our country back to success.  However, the GOP continues to wail and moan that the people who show up at the Trump rallies will not show up at the polling booth—WHAT?  Could this be true or is yet another load of steaming dog feces?
If left to its own devises, the GOP will always run with a moderate
I have to say that I am somewhat amazed at times the things the spill out of the gaping mouths of his enemies because what I see in Trump is someone who is not going to do the normal GOP candidate action, i.e., roll over and play dead, wetting themselves in the process.  John McCain, wow, what can we say about that loser other than WHY do people of Arizona continue sending that bum back to Washington?
Another recent example of the aforementioned Republican loser was Mitt Romney, a candidate who after beating the snot out of Barack Hussein Obama in their first debate played it safe by launching an active defense rather than pounding the political crud out of a horrible president.  If anyone prevented his winning the 2012 election, Governor Romney is the one who cut his own political throat.  Again, oy vey!
For the GOP, the past two presidential election cycles have been disasters…
The past two presidential elections have proven disastrous for the party as a whole and one can understand why the people at the bottom—the Republican voters—are angrier than hell.  Rather than stumbling about with dolorous appearances and speaking in lugubrious tones, they demand that their party select the RIGHT candidate with which to challenge Hillary Clinton.  If we left it to the pursy leadership of the GOP, we would either have someone such as Mitt Romney reenter the presidential sweepstakes or some other loser such as Mitch Daniels jump in to satisfy the moderate wing.  Even now, we see ‘stories’ suggesting that Paul Ryan, the current speaker of the House, with the aid of the RINOS steal the nomination away from Donald Trump—if Trump has the votes to clench it—at the convention in July.
Word out there suggests the GOP leadership seeks some sort of way to rob Donald Trump of the Nomination should HE earn it
That is right, there are all of these subliminal undercurrents of a ‘brokered’ convention, which I know and others here at the blog such as Lilah know to be impossible, as the modern rules do not permit someone to rob the nomination away from the frontrunner.  The so-called ‘smoke-filled backrooms’ technically no longer exist because the conventions serve more as public relations events and the coronation of the candidate with the most electors sitting in row upon row rather than a floor fight.  In the past, there were times when an upstart would try to unseat a sitting president but most of the time; the fights at the conventions were over individual planks in the party’s platform.  When is the last time anyone has heard of ‘planks’ and ‘platforms’ at a convention?
Brokered Conventions once occurred but no longer…
You see, since the late 1970s, political conventions typically exist to show solidarity among party members as well as to highlight both the old politicians and new rising stars among the ranks.  The old-timers get to give keynote speeches while some young buck or doe gets a shot giving a speech that establishes their status as future candidates—like Barack Hussein Obama.
Moreover, we get to see the presidential nominee and his vice presidential selection standing side-by-side and in the case of Democrats doing it with shirtsleeves and with clenched upraised fists signifying party solidarity, unionism, and other leftwing images as the Stalinists once did.  Unfortunately, for the Dems, the infighting commences soon after the requisite photos take place as the various divisions within their party begin going after one another, something few on the outside generally see.
The GOP Leadership has to accept the downside of robbing Donald Trump of the Nomination should he win it…
I hope the RINOS do not embarrass themselves in their quest to find some way to derail the Trump freight train because if it does, I do not think the Republican Party will remain.  I think the GOP—if it finds the way with which, it can stop Donald Trump from winning the nomination—will exist as a shadow party in name ONLY.  I think if the Republican leadership in the form of Reince Priebus and former GOP presidential candidates might continue some sort of castrated political party forward, one that most likely will ally with the Democrats because that is where THEY truly want to be.  It was no mistake that JEB told his supporters early in the political process that he sought to win the nomination ‘sans the base,’ because we must face the fact that they find us ‘embarrassing.’
From the ashes of the GOP, another Political Party would arise…
I think if the GOP destroys itself over the nomination of Donald Trump, the Tea Party or some other party will rise from the ashes of the once-great Republican Party phoenix-like.  I recall the party demanding of Donald Trump that he would forego a third party run as well as his support of the nominee if it were someone else.  He complied with the first demand while leaving the door open on the second one but in recent weeks, we saw JEB searching for a way by which, he could renege on supporting Trump if the billionaire was the nominee.  JEB, I do not believe withholding your support will hurt Mr. Trump but it will open a window deep within your soul, you flaming closet Democrat.  See you tomorrow, have a great day and keep the faith.
Thank you,

  1. : Moses gives up discussing the top stories of 2015 in favor of jumping into election coverage 2016. We are about 27 days out from the first electoral contest and it is interesting to see the machinations of the RINOS as they seek some sort of way to STOP the Donald Trump freight train. I find it interesting as an independent on the outside looking in that poor old JEB continues to amble along as though he belongs on the Walking Dead TV show. I have to laugh as Marco Rubio continues to pursue Ted Cruz when there is no way in hell if I were a Republican that I would vote for the first-term senator. I mean, look at the mess Barack Obama has made of the country, the man has trashed our country to the point that it might take a decade or two to repair all the damage he has caused. Please, join us today and share your thoughts, ideas, and opinions, we welcome everyone.
