“Now that the ‘Death Spiral’ of Obamacare has begun, Chef Vladimir is dancing a jig—the Affordable Care Act is the WORST Thing the Democrats have ever done to this Nation!” by Chef Vladimir Gdansk

FALL SESSION 2015

BLOGPOST #1,848 AT THE AICP-END

It makes me ‘Glad’ to see the ‘death spiral’ of Obamacare beginning
Mukilteo, WA, 12-13-2015 Sunday: In my final post of the year, I have to say that I am glad to see the so-called ‘death spiral’ of Barack Obama’s signature law, the abominable ‘Affordable’ Care Act, aka “Obamacare.”  I can remember back in 2009-2010, the Democrats lorded it over us as they controlled the House, the Senate, and the White House in numbers against which, the Republicans could not even hope to compete.  In those heady days of unstoppable Democrat rule, they stuffed one thing after another down the unwilling throats of the American people and did it with glee.
From the start, Obamacare was a flawed law and worse, the Dems used all sorts of tricks and chicanery to make it happen
On the day the Democrats were going to force us to keyster the damned thing, one of the most memorable scenes was the one with Nancy Pelosi and other Democrat House leaders walking through a massive crowd of people begging them NOT TO DO IT.  In her hands, then-Speaker Nancy Pelosi carried this massive gavel, one I believe passed the Civil Rights Act of 1964 when the speaker at that time slammed it down upon the desk thereby putting it onto President Lyndon Baines Johnson’s desk.  I could be wrong as to what the gavel was used for but the whole idea was that Nancy Pelosi wanted the protesters standing in the crowd surrounding the House of Representatives to know was that she was going to stuff it down their throats whether they wanted it or not.
Obamacare gave birth to the Tea Party movement
As you should recall, the Tea Party movement grew out of the unrest caused by Barack Obama and his Democrat allies in fulfilling his ‘fundamental transformation of the United States of America’ by having the federal government take over the nation’s health care system.  The people of this nation were against government-run health care and did everything they could to derail the president’s plan but the Democrats used a variety of tricks they could use to deem things already ‘passed’ by attaching them to other bills that already made it through the process.  This made the majority of Americans take to the streets in protest but on March 23, 2010, with a beaming crowd of liberal onlookers watching, the president signed it into law.
Obamacare drained the blood from Medicare…
At first, there was not a great deal to see or to uncover as the government kept it close to its breast.  They had to rob Medicare and basically to defund the popular Medicare Advantage Plan, one that seniors and the disabled loved because it provided additional care at a low cost the patient covered with a monthly amount.  In order to fund Obamacare and to pour additional money and resources into Medicaid, the government robbed both the main Medicare plans as well as the Advantage plans to the point that many people lost the coverage altogether or had government severely reduce their benefits.  No wonder people are angry.
The healthcare.gov Website was a disaster from day number one
On October 01, 2013, Obamacare went full-on as the healthcare.gov Website opened for business and over the course of a few hours, the site began to implode and appeared to be beyond repair within a relatively short time.  Then Health and Human Services Director Kathleen Sibelius stumbled about as she and her highly paid lackeys did everything they could to put the mess back together.  People spent hours attempting to do what the law required them to do then when they went to push the button to buy insurance, the site collapsed and their information disappeared in an “Obamacare second.”
Obama finally had to criticize NOT his people but the opposition as well as the American people…
The agony of the Website labored on for months all the while the Obama administration stayed the course and did little to nothing to fix the thing.  The people of the country grew angrier by the second, complained loudly and in so doing had to listen to the government blast them for being dimwits, dumbbells, or plain GOP hacks.  The beautiful thing was that not only Republicans but also Democrats, Independents, and other Americans united in anger at the disaster that was unfolding before them.  Then, when video began surfacing of Obamacare architect Jonathan Gruber speaking insultingly of average Americans, the nation went ballistic—unless you watched MSNBC or one of the other liberal news channels.
Poor Kathleen Sibelius, she had to fall on the sword
Eventually, President Obama told Sibelius she would have to fall on the proverbial sword and so she did.  Some other faceless Obamaphile took her place and the health care law managed to claw its way forward.  Nowhere is anyone content with it, the fact that most full-time jobs now consist of 28 hours with part-time making up everything else so employers can get away sans offering health care for their employees, the economy improves barely one-percent per year.  If the liberal agenda did not have such a fawning and faithful media covering their asses for the politicians, I truly believe that the American people would have demanded Congress impeach this pathetic, criminal, pro-socialist, pro-Islamist president.  Alas, most people stand on one side or the other of the political aisle and nothing gets done.  NOTHING GETS DONE.
Congress should have impeached the 44th president prior to 2012
That is going to do it for me for the year, folks, I am glad I was here for the NEW format of the blog to begin, we originally planned to do it in 2016 but lo and behold, the people in charge of the administration pulled the trigger now and so here we are.  Speaking of triggers, I hope my dear wife, the lovely Helen, has found my Christmas list and has gone to the gun store and got me some of the guns I have on it.  I want a Smith and Wesson Model 69 .44 Magnum gun, if jihadists or criminals enter the house, I want her or myself to put two rounds center mass of each scumbag so they never return to our home.  Both my wife and I are big Second Amendment supporters and at least twice a month, we go the range and light up some very interesting targets.
Buy guns for Christmas!
Have a great Christmas, Kwanzaa, and the final few days of Hanukkah and of course, a wonderful New Year’s Eve and Day.  Remember, if you drive, don’t drink and if you drink, don’t drive, we cannot afford to lose a single member of the readership over something one simply does not have to do.  There are taxicabs, there are free rides home for drunks, there are other forms of transportation, just do not put your life or those of loved ones or total strangers at risk because you choose to slide in behind the steering wheel.   God bless ALL of you and I will see you in 2016, the good Lord willing; bye!

Thank you,

FLAG OF THE DAY: DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF THE CONGO

SUNDAY, DECEMBER 13, 2015

The next album by the Spencer Davis Group came out in 1970 following the previous release.  “Gluggo” featured more or less the same lineup as the previous offering with a selection of tunes written by the various members of the band.  As always, the musicianship here is superb, the tunes amazing to hear and the success of the album prove that there can be life after death when a band loses a key member.  Granted, some such as the Doors, the Grateful Dead, and Led Zeppelin chose not to continue but it is possible if the remaining musicians determine that they can and should continue the work the group once started.  Please, use our link to go to Amazon.com so you can get this CD in the format, the condition, and the price that is right for you and remember—the days are growing shorter as the remaining two fall-winter holidays approach.  Christmas will be here 12 days while Kwanzaa in 13.  Buy your gifts now!

  1. As Chef Vladimir describes his feelings on Obamacare, he says he is happy that it appears that it is going to fall into the death spiral. I hope it happens before Mr. Obama leaves office, never in MY life have I so wanted to see the humiliation of a president more so than the one we have now. His petulance, his ego, what more can I say, the man has been the most divisive president this nation has ever seen and we will be dealing with its consequences for decades to come. Please, join us today to see what Chef Vlad has to say and we will discuss it. / Posted by Chef James “JT” Tobiason of the American Institute of Culinary Politics-Elemental News of the Day, posted @ 03:05 P.M.
