“Weekend Session, Part IX: Moses takes the Easy Way out today by sharing some of the Many Musical Selections we promote at Pinterest.com—please, join him!” by Assistant Publisher Moses Scharbug III

We find it sad that the Who were splintering apart but this CD by Pete Townshend, “Scoop,” from 1983 is a compilation of 25 demos recorded by Pete featuring songs from both the band and from his solo efforts as that is how Pete introduced his songs to the band.  Like Ray Davies of the Kinks, Pete wrote and wrote an inordinate number of songs, many of which we know because they made it onto either group or solo albums; however, the way he originally wrote some of them would blow the mind of the listener to hear them in their earliest forms.  If you are interested in the music of both the man and the band, then please use our link to redirect your browser to Amazon.com so you can see what form, what condition, and what price is available to YOU, the beloved readership and longtime rock-and-roll listener.  Thank you for your patronage, we appreciate all of it.

SUMMER SESSION 2015

BLOGPOST #1,750 AT THE AICP-END

Today, we return to the Weekend Edition!
Bakersfield, CA, 09-06-2015 Sunday: Today is Sunday and what we are going to do is to share our Pinterest albums of the day with you.  Five days a week, Monday through Friday, we offer both an album as well as a Beverly Carrick original oil painting that will set your soul on fire.  We also offer things daily at the blog’s Facebook page, a place where we hope that you and everyone you know will go for a visit.  Please, public support is what makes success or denies it and we need your help to keep our blog up-and-running.  Here we go:
“Chicago II” posted @ Pinterest, Sunday, May 03, 2015:
The second album by the horn-dominated band, Chicago, “Chicago II,” hit record store shelves in 1970 and continued the band’s progressive jazzy style interlaced with hard rock.  With hits such as “Make Me Smile” and “25 or 6 to 4” the band continued its domination of the airwaves.  Each album by the band in its early days was a double album full of a wide variety of musical styles, influences, licks, and riffs and with the horns interlaced throughout it, well one could not ask for a more thrilling album than this one.  Please, seek it out at Amazon.com, the greatest online marketplace in the world—you will be so glad you did!
“Plays On” by the Climax Blues Band posted @ Pinterest, Monday, May 04, 2015:
The Climax Blues Band put out its sophomore effort, “Plays On” in 1969 and continued to demonstrate that among British blues bands, the CBB had the groove.  Pete Haycock (guitars, vocals) and saxophone and horn man, Colin Cooper, were in a deep mutually supporting groove that showed this band had the bollocks to go as far as they desired to go.  We hope you will seek this CD out at Amazon.com by using the link we provide you here as we assure you, you will be amazed at the musicianship, and the abilities possessed by the members of this group.
“I Feel-Like-I’m-Fixin’-to-Die” by Country Joe and the Fish, posted @ Pinterest.com on Tuesday, May 05, 2015:
The sophomore effort released by Country Joe and the Fish, one of the psychedelic era’s greatest rock bands to come out of the Bay Area was the crème de la crème!  Unlike their San Francisco fellows, CJ Fish came over from Berkeley, California and their music had a lot to say about the politics of the time in the same vein as their compatriots, the Jefferson Airplane, only they went farther than any of them.  The band’s sophomore effort, “I-Feel-Like-I’m-Fixin’-to-Die” came out in 1967 and is yet another classic to this day! The title cut is one of the best statements about the conflagration in Vietnam and of the feelings of those called to fight in it or the ones who ran away to another country.  If ever there was a pointless yet winnable war, Vietnam is its name. Please take the convenient link posted above, go to Amazon.com, and buy this CD now; you will be glad you did!
“Disraeli Gears” by Cream posted @ Pinterest.com on Wednesday, May 06, 2015:
Cream released its second album in 1967, “Disraeli Gears,” a glorious rock album if ever there was one.  The triumvirate of Eric Clapton, Ginger Baker, and Jack Bruce, plowed the way ahead for other power trios of their time and for all who would follow them.  “Sunshine of your Love” was one of the most-played and still-played rock-and-roll classics that virtually everyone knows close to five decades later.  We urge all fans of heavy-duty yet multi-faceted rock music to seek this one out at Amazon.com by using the link we provide you up top—you will be glad you did.
Creedence Clearwater Revival’s “Bayou Country” posted @ Pinterest.com on Thursday, May 07, 2015:
Creedence Clearwater Revival—the great country-hard rock group from the Bay Area put out their sophomore effort in 1969, the iconic “Bayou Country”—and this one continued the fame-and-fortune started by the band’s debut effort, the one featuring “Proud Mary.”  Unlike any of their San Francisco-Berkeley-East Bay compatriots, Creedence carved its own niche across the musical charts by cranking out hit after hit.  We recommend this album to you the fans because it is among the must-have rock albums from the 1960s that every serious fan of the era must own.  Please, use our link to redirect your browser to Amazon.com so you can pick it up now in the format, the condition, and the price that rocks your socks—you will be so glad you did!
Thanks for joining me today!

PLEASE BUY ALL OF THE ALBUMS WE ADVERTISE AT AMAZON.COM!
PLEASE SEE MUSICAL ALBUMS AT THE END OF THE BLOG
As always, we have a great time around here and that is why we want all of you to become a part of the organization by submitting articles to us for inspection and full-credit.  It is a great thing if you would do this, as it is a symbiotic relationship: we give you the space to share your recipes and in return, you send us more and more people who will become dedicated followers of the AICP-END
Currently of multi-diversity across the Internet, it is important that we hear the voices of more and more people from all walks of the foodservice profession —join us. We urge our readership to write to us, leave comments, and if there are any of you, who would care to write an article for us, please get in touch via Magnolia Hilltop Brewers, P.O. Box 20669, Bakersfield, CA 93390-0669.  We obviously do not pay anything but give YOU full byline and that, my friends, is worth its weight in gold.
We want as many people who want to write to be able to do so and we believe that by presenting a forum for our fellow chefs, we are doing something for our beloved industry.  We love diversity and hope to add new and different authors to our pantheon of chefs, food and beverage directors, and culinary professionals.  Come on and join us, it will be fun! Expect that when all of us have run through our cycle, we will be introducing some brand-new talent or so Stinky says.
We have touted the AARC Technology Company here in Bakersfield, CA, and must add the Nerds on Call.com folks.  Without them keeping our blog up-and-running, there is no telling where we would be now.  We have a great many problematic issues here at the AICP-END because even with the best security systems in the world, malware and other terrible fecal materials manage to penetrate the blog site.  Do yourself a favor, hire the best, and note, you can have online help via a remote button on your desktop for just $25 per month!  Get in contact with the Nerds now!  Here is another note: do NOT do business with Galkos Construction, Inc., those people are nothing but crooks as if you lease your system, you will never pay it off, plus you have to pay them for excess energy produced by your system, the electric company does not buy all of it nor do they!  AVOID GCI AT ALL COSTS; DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE CROOKS!
We are selling recipes all the time and you can order things you would like copies of simply by mailing us your name, address, the recipe you would like and a check for $1.00.  You can buy an entire week’s worth of recipes when we do a series simply by sending us a check or money order (no cash please!) for $20 and we will have it out to you in the next day’s mail.  Please become a part of the AICP-END by sending us your names, addresses, and information and we will welcome all of you with open arms.
To buy paintings, recipes, or full article series, please send us your information by mailing us at P.O. Box #20669, Bakersfield, CA, 93309-0669.  You can call about paintings at 661-374-1430; we will take all calls and provide to you as much information as is available.  It is time that we begin taking the next step and to immortalize Beverly Carrick for eternity and begin moving towards the establishment of a website of our own! God bless each single one of you amongst our fan base!
I thank you for joining me throughout my vacation; I do my best never to miss a post when it is my time to do the blog.  Most of the time, I sit in the back, drinking whatever we have on hand in the refrigerator so let me explain something to you that I began yesterday.  I said one of the important things in life is for one to avoid all intoxicants during their lifetimes and what I meant is that one should avoid them when one is young.  Growing up is difficult enough but when one is older, has success in hand, and has a family willing to do the driving, one can do whatever the heck one wishes to do as long as they do not abuse other people or put the lives of others at risk.  Look at it as a reward for having lived a good life—that is the philosophy that has sustained me for as long as it has.  I will see you tomorrow, we should be in Southern California and then by tomorrow afternoon, back in the lovely town of Oildale, California.  Thanks for joining me this week.
The Closing Words of our Founder, Stinkbug:
Anyhow, let us close with this impassioned plea—please leave some comments and/or become a follower. What's more, why not spend some money and purchase an album by the Who, John Entwhistle, Keith Moon, Pete Townshend, Roger Daltrey, SAVOY BROWN, and everyone else we advertise here and/or buy a book by any of the authors we advertise here! In addition to that, we occasionally offer cookbooks and other oddball items so always pay attention to whatever you find in the tabs on the right side of the home page, everything you need is there!  Allied with them, we are pleased to market their merchandise!  Amazon.com is one of the greatest—if not the ultimate greatest!—online department stores in which, one can find almost everything on the planet.
As everyone knows, we love them and they love us and we want all of you to visit them daily, take advantage of their deals on everything from kitchen equipment to cookbooks, CDs, DVDs, and everything else a person could want.  Everything you buy from them puts money into our pockets, which allows us to keep this fine blog up-and-running 24/7/365!  God bless America and God bless Amazon.com, the world’s largest online marketplace in the world and most likely in the Universe!
Thank you!
