SUMMER SESSION 2015

BLOGPOST #1,715 AT THE AICP-END

Welcome to Day Number Seven of the Scharbug Family’s Vacation in Bermuda!
Bakersfield, CA, 08-02-2015 Sunday: Ah, today is Sunday and that is nice, sitting on the beach enjoying the rolling waves coming in, bathing the shore.  The sun hangs overhead among the puffy clouds while seabirds wheel above us in the crisp, cool air.  The interesting thing about coming here is that we are in the southern part of the Bermuda Triangle, something that always remains in the back of one’s mind, whether you fly in or come by boat, one always knows that there is a possibility that one might not make it here or once here, make it back home.  To the south, we have the Turks and Caicos while directly south, we have both the island of Hispaniola (Haiti and the Dominican Republic) as well as our brand-new friend, Cuba.  I wonder if President Obama is going to return Guantanamo Bay to the communists—nothing would surprise me at all anymore.  Since it is Sunday, let us pick up where we left off yesterday, we have plenty of time to discuss our vacation as we will be here one more week for sure, possibly two more.  Here we go:
Rare Earth: “Dreams/Answers” @ Pinterest.com:
One of the top American blues-rock-white soul bands in the world came out of Motown, Michigan, Rare Earth.  They were so good that they were the first and ONLY white act on Motown Records, an accomplishment no other band ever achieved as far as we know.  The band formed in 1960 and their first album was 1968’sDreams/Answers.”  The group featured Gil Bridges (saxophones, flutes, and lead vocals), Peter Hoorelbeke (drums and lead vocals), Kenny James (keyboards), John Persch (bass, trombone, and vocals), and Rod Richards (guitars and vocals).  This album is one we highly recommend as it sets the groundwork for what was to come, which is awesome rock-and-roll out of Detroit, Michigan, people!  Please use our link to redirect your browser to Amazon.com where you can snag it for a great price in the format and the condition your heart tells you to buy!  Please, go there NOW and buy it—you will be glad you did!
“The Band” by the Band @ Pinterest.com:
The sophomore effort by the Canadian-American rock group, the Band, came out in 1968 and continued building the legend of this amazing group that once backed up Bob Dylan and other top vocalists of the late 1950’s-1960’s before launching their own group.  The self-titled, “The Band” came out in 1969 and contained two monster hits: “The Night they drove Old Dixie Down” (Joan Baez would later cover this tune) and “Up on Cripple Creek.”  Once again, the band creates numerous songs that their fans will know and revere for the rest of eternity.  The musicianship is superb and the vocals excellent so what more can one ask other than to use the link we provide you here so you can redirect yourselves to Amazon.com where you can get it in the format, the condition, and the price that is right for YOU—you will be glad you did!
“Surfin’ USA” by the Beach Boys @ Pinterest.com:
The Beach Boys released their second CD in 1963, “Surfin’ USA,” which kept them on the top by generating MORE Top 40 hits on the radio.  The band was coming together around the core five members of the group and when they were not in the recording studio, they were out on the road playing night after night to enthusiastic crowds.  Brian Wilson continued cranking out the songs with some input from his fellow band members but at this point in the young band’s career, the work of writing songs was entirely upon him.  The title tune from this CD is one of the most memorable tunes from the early 1960’s, a song they more or less purloined from black rocker, Chuck Berry.  Great album, however; one we wholeheartedly recommend to the readership so please—go to Amazon.com now and pick it up; you will be so glad you did!  Thank you for your patronage!
“Yes” by YES @ Pinterest.com:
The first album by the British progressive-rock band, YES, came out in 1969 and was self-titled.  The group consisted of some of England’s top musicians all in one place, including Jon Anderson (vocals/percussion), Peter Banks (guitars/vocals), Chris Squire (bass/vocals), Tony Kaye (organ/piano), and Bill Bruford (drums/percussion).  The first album contained originals as well as covers of Beatles and Byrds tunes.  Some fans got in at the start while others would wait an album or two before the band exploded onto the scene with the arrival of Rick Wakeman.  Please, seek this CD out by using our link to redirect your browser to Amazon.com so you can pick the CD up there in the format, the condition, and the price that is right for YOU—do it now: you will be glad you did!
“Quicksilver Messenger Service” by QMS @ Pinterest.com:
The first album by San Francisco psychedelic band, Quicksilver Messenger Service, the self-named CD came out in 1968 and featured the four members that would define the band’s early sound.  On board was amazing snaky guitarist, John Cipollina who had one of the unique styles when it came to playing his instrument.  Also aboard was fellow guitarist, Gary Duncan, who was a powerful rhythm guitarist who interacted with Cipollina in defining the band’s powerful guitar sound.  David Freiberg brought in the overwhelming bass as well as a viola on occasion while Greg Elmore delivered a thunderous drum line in a very hypnotic way as in the old blues drummers who had a sound more akin to African and Cajun-style drumming than any other around at the time.  The three guitarists contributed vocals and together they were one of the top live bands of the era and are still around in a version led by Gary Duncan.  Check this CD out by going to Amazon.com and picking it up in the format, the condition, and the price that is right for you!  You will be so glad you did!
MORE CDS TOMORROW!

PLEASE BUY ALL OF THE ALBUMS WE ADVERTISE AT AMAZON.COM!
As always, we have a great time around here and that is why we want all of you to become a part of the organization by submitting articles to us for inspection and full-credit.  It is a great thing if you would do this, as it is a symbiotic relationship: we give you the space to share your recipes and in return, you send us more and more people who will become dedicated followers of the AICP-END.  Currently of multi-diversity across the Internet, it is important that we hear the voices of more and more people from all walks of the foodservice profession —join us. We urge our readership to write to us, leave comments, and if there are any of you, who would care to write an article for us, please get in touch via Magnolia Hilltop Brewers, P.O. Box 20669, Bakersfield, CA 93390-0669.  We obviously do not pay anything but give YOU full byline and that, my friends, is worth its weight in gold.
We want as many people who want to write to be able to do so and we believe that by presenting a forum for our fellow chefs, we are doing something for our beloved industry.  We love diversity and hope to add new and different authors to our pantheon of chefs, food and beverage directors, and culinary professionals.  Come on and join us, it will be fun! Expect that when all of us have run through our cycle, we will be introducing some brand-new talent or so Stinky says.
We have touted the AARC Technology Company here in Bakersfield, CA, and must add the Nerds on Call.com folks.  Without them keeping our blog up-and-running, there is no telling where we would be now.  We have a great many problematic issues here at the AICP-END because even with the best security systems in the world, malware and other terrible fecal materials manage to penetrate the blog site.  Do yourself a favor, hire the best, and note, you can have online help via a remote button on your desktop for just $25 per month!  Get in contact with the Nerds now!  Here is another note: do NOT do business with Galkos Construction, Inc., those people are nothing but crooks as if you lease your system, you will never pay it off, plus you have to pay them for excess energy produced by your system, the electric company does not buy all of it nor do they!  AVOID GCI AT ALL COSTS; DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE CROOKS!
We are selling recipes all the time and you can order things you would like copies of simply by mailing us your name, address, the recipe you would like and a check for $1.00.  You can buy an entire week’s worth of recipes when we do a series simply by sending us a check or money order (no cash please!) for $20 and we will have it out to you in the next day’s mail.  Please become a part of the AICP-END by sending us your names, addresses, and information and we will welcome all of you with open arms.
To buy paintings, recipes, or full article series, please send us your information by mailing us at P.O. Box #20669, Bakersfield, CA, 93309-0669.  You can call about paintings at 661-374-1430; we will take all calls and provide to you as much information as is available.  It is time that we begin taking the next step and to immortalize Beverly Carrick for eternity and begin moving towards the establishment of a website of our own! God bless each single one of you amongst our fan base!
I have to give it to Governor Mike Huckabee earlier in the week for telling the truth about the deal Barack Obama worked out with Iran on its nuclear ambitions.  The governor is right when he said the DEAL is going to march the Jews to the ovens, first, however, to the gas chambers, governor, then to the ovens.  As a Jew, I am appalled at the horrible way the Frankenstein-like secretary of state, John F. Kerry—did you know this schlemiel went to Vietnam?—sold out both the United States and the world’s ONLY Jewish state.  Everyone knows the Iranians are nothing more than lying trash, I hope they blow themselves up from their own mistakes!
What’s more, some say the bastard is going to win the Nobel Peace Prize for brokering this ‘deal’ and then will use it as a springboard to challenge his predecessor Hillary Clinton for the Democratic nomination for president.  One has to note that things are indeed getting interesting but if Lurch—as Rush Limbaugh calls this doofus—gets the bid, we have BIG fricking problems, my friends.  Anyhow, I will see you all tomorrow when we begin anew with MORE of our favorite CDs we promote at Pinterst.com under Brian Carrick’s name.  Thanks and God bless and remember: pray for Israel, she needs it!
The Closing Words of our Founder, Stinkbug:
Anyhow, let us close with this impassioned plea—please leave some comments and/or become a follower. What's more, why not spend some money and purchase an album by Eric Burdon and the Animals, WAR, Eric Burdon, and everyone else we advertise here and/or buy a book by any of the authors we advertise here! In addition to that, we occasionally offer cookbooks and other oddball items so always pay attention to whatever you find in the tabs on the right side of the home page, everything you need is there!  Allied with them, we are pleased to market their merchandise!  Amazon.com is one of the greatest—if not the ultimate greatest!—online department stores in which, one can find almost everything on the planet.
Needless to say, we love them and they love us and we want all of you to visit them daily, take advantage of their deals on everything from kitchen equipment to cookbooks, CDs, DVDs, and everything else a person could want.  Everything you buy from them puts money into our pockets, which allows us to keep this fine blog up-and-running 24/7/365!  God bless America and God bless Amazon.com, the world’s largest online marketplace in the world and most likely in the Universe!
Thank you!

  1. Moses Scharbug III continues enjoying his vacation and shares some of it with the readership. He then embarks on the next batch of albums we share via Brian Carrick’s Pinterest account with our fans, most notably the sophomore efforts by both the Band and the Beach Boys as well as the debut efforts of both YES and Rare Earth. He also throws in the debut effort of Quicksilver Messenger Service, a band we have shared here on many an occasion but since they are so good, he shares them again! Please, join us today and share your thoughts on these or on any other topic you might have on your mind like blowing the Iranians off the face of the globe if we want world peace and sending our beloved leader with them for the ride (you know, a ‘roller coaster ride’ yuck, yuck). Yeah, I am joking so Secret Service, do not come looking for me in Bermuda, that is what Moses has to say.
