As usual, you are extremely lucky today as we have not one but TWO great CDs with which, to tempt your mind and ears.  The first CD is by Eric Burdon and the New Animals, a great live CD entitled, “Live in Seattle” (2002).  All of the hits are here, all in one place with one of Britain’s greatest vocalists belting them out to the delight of the fans.  Please check this CD out and while you are at it, check out the next one, too.  The second is by the powerful and unique Los Angeles, California, funk-rock-soul-jazz band, WAR, “The Very Best of War” (2003), a two-CD set that contains 34 songs this fabulous band recorded over the course of its lengthy, successful career.  On it are songs from all periods so this is WHY we suggest you use our link to redirect you to Amazon.com.  While you are at it, pick up the previous CD we promoted, as well—you will be glad you did!

SUMMER SESSION 2015

BLOGPOST #1,702 AT THE AICP-END

The Summer Session 2015 begins in earnest
Bakersfield, CA, 07-20-2015 Monday: Okay, I have done a couple of weeks of heavy-duty commentary and am now tired.  A man my age has the right to do whatever the heck he wishes because that is one thing age gives a person, the right to do ‘whatever the heck they want’ to say and pretty much do whatever they want to do without fear of any sort of blowback.  We last shared political cartoons back in December of last year so I believe it time to pick up where you and I left off, let us have some fun because in this life, fun is all we have.  Anyhow, I just finished my breakfast, had some fresh smoked salmon with some fruit, nuts, and a tad bit of veggies, I try to eat the best I can so when I want to pop the top atop a can of beer, I can do so without regret just as I now am.  Here we go:
#PC0018.1a Political Cartoon #463
Our first cartoon comes to us from the Bakersfield Californian edition of Monday, February 03, 2014, a great one if I do say so myself.  Most everyone with half a brain—what we affectionately call a ‘half-wit’ (I know it is not PC-friendly but do you think I give a shit?)—knows that the political class lives in comfort, they have a marvelous lifestyle and are ‘somewhat immune’ to what the REST of us suffer.  This is what we call ‘life inside the beltway,’ the men and women who serve the nation have little to no idea how the rest of us live.  The announcer says that in ‘this economy, all Congress has on its minds is jobs.’  Yes, the only jobs they have in mind are their own and what they will do when they leave office—if they ever do.
#PC0018.1b Political Cartoon #464
You know, I remember the Anheuser-Busch ‘puppy love’ commercial of the last Super Bowl, XLIX, and it was perhaps one of the most beloved commercials of the Big Game.  I am not sure what the cartoonist is attempting to say in this cartoon so I will leave it to you to write in and let me know.  Please, tell me, I welcome all of your comments.
#PC0018.1c Political Cartoon #465
The next cartoon comes from Wednesday, February 05, 2014, makes light of the Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia, what with armed security personnel being omnipresent at the games to protect against terrorism.  Luckily, for all involved, nothing untoward happened and the games went well.  For that, Vladimir Putin deserves our gratitude.
#PC0018.1d Political Cartoon #466
This cartoon from Thursday, February 06, 2014, shows a husband going through the ceiling as his wife shares a newspaper story with him regarding the battle over the debt ceiling.  According to the liberal news media, all sorts of horrible things were going to happen such as the delaying of tax refund checks to people who desperately lived beyond their means and needed the money to bail them out; well, these things NEVER happen, they are merely scare tactics the Democrats employ.
#PC0018.1e Political Cartoon #467
This cartoon criticizes how Hollywood makes it seem that drug usage is a part of normal life, how ‘cool’ they are, and how this propaganda stands atop a pile of bodies, lost in America’s war on drugs.  Virtually every show that can have drugs and alcohol inserted into it has drugs and alcohol, as is the ever-present availability of tobacco products.  One has to wonder who is in league with who and WHY Hollywood would be the number one proponent of pushing ALL of these life-altering substances.  Ah, well, you be the judge, decide for yourselves.
America has lost the War on Drugs…

PLEASE BUY ALL OF THE ALBUMS WE ADVERTISE AT AMAZON.COM!
As always, we have a great time around here and that is why we want all of you to become a part of the organization by submitting articles to us for inspection and full-credit.  It is a great thing if you would do this, as it is a symbiotic relationship: we give you the space to share your recipes and in return, you send us more and more people who will become dedicated followers of the AICP-END.  Currently of multi-diversity across the Internet, it is important that we hear the voices of more and more people from all walks of the foodservice profession —join us. We urge our readership to write to us, leave comments, and if there are any of you, who would care to write an article for us, please get in touch via Magnolia Hilltop Brewers, P.O. Box 20669, Bakersfield, CA 93390-0669
Note, we obviously do not pay anything but give YOU full byline and that, my friends, is worth its weight in gold.  We want as many people who want to write to be able to do so and we believe that by presenting a forum for our fellow chefs, we are doing something for our beloved industry.  We love diversity and hope to add new and different authors to our pantheon of chefs, food and beverage directors, and culinary professionals.  Come on and join us, it will be fun! Expect that when all of us have run through our cycle, we will be introducing some brand-new talent or so Stinky says.
We have touted the AARC Technology Company here in Bakersfield, CA, and must add the Nerds on Call.com folks.  Without them keeping our blog up-and-running, there is no telling where we would be now.  We have a great many problematic issues here at the AICP-END because even with the best security systems in the world, malware and other terrible fecal materials manage to penetrate the blog site.  Do yourself a favor, hire the best, and note, you can have online help via a remote button on your desktop for just $25 per month!  Get in contact with the Nerds now!  Here is another note: do NOT do business with Galkos Construction, Inc., those people are nothing but crooks as if you lease your system, you will never pay it off, plus you have to pay them for excess energy produced by your system, the electric company does not buy all of it nor do they!  AVOID GCI AT ALL COSTS; DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE CROOKS!
We are selling recipes all the time and you can order things you would like copies of simply by mailing us your name, address, the recipe you would like and a check for $1.00.  You can buy an entire week’s worth of recipes when we do a series simply by sending us a check or money order (no cash please!) for $20 and we will have it out to you in the next day’s mail.  Please become a part of the AICP-END by sending us your names, addresses, and information and we will welcome all of you with open arms!
To buy paintings, recipes, or full article series, please send us your information by mailing us at P.O. Box #20669, Bakersfield, CA, 93309-0669.  You can call about paintings at 661-374-1430; we will take all calls and provide to you as much information as is available.  It is time that we begin taking the next step and to immortalize Beverly Carrick for eternity and begin moving towards the establishment of a website of our own! God bless each single one of you amongst our fan base!
Today, we are beginning a new look for the blog, a stripped down view that we hope will simplify things for our readership as well as for us.  We will admit that we are under assault at times online whenever we attempt to do our work such as either posting or researching.  We do not know if it is Chinese counterfeiters or the U.S. government under the auspices of ‘Net Neutrality,’ whatever is doing it has made life difficult enough that we are happy to do a streamlined version from here on out.  Thanks for joining us today, we welcome everyone’s participation and look forward to your comments on any of our posts.  Thank you and God bless!
The Closing Words of our Founder, Stinkbug:
Anyhow, let us close with this impassioned plea—please leave some comments and/or become a follower. What's more, why not spend some money and purchase an album by Eric Burdon and the Animals, WAR, Eric Burdon, and everyone else we advertise here and/or buy a book by any of the authors we advertise here! In addition to that, we occasionally offer cookbooks and other oddball items so always pay attention to whatever you find in the tabs on the right side of the home page, everything you need is there!  Allied with them, we are pleased to market their merchandise!  Amazon.com is one of the greatest—if not the ultimate greatest!—online department stores in which, one can find almost everything on the planet.
We love them and they love us and we want all of you to visit them daily, take advantage of their deals on everything from kitchen equipment to cookbooks, CDs, DVDs, and everything else a person could want.  Everything you buy from them puts money into our pockets, which allows us to keep this fine blog up-and-running 24/7/365!  God bless America and God bless Amazon.com, the world’s largest online marketplace in the world and most likely in the Universe!
Thank you!

  1. Today, Chef Moses shares the BEST in political cartoons so we ask that you join us to share your comments. We enjoy looking at political cartoons because they give us a glimpse into the inner workings of various cartoonists. Most cartoonists are hardcore liberals, which is fine, as long as they hold to the truth but most of them seek to undermine whatever solidity the millennial generation possesses so they will fall into lockstep and vote Democrat—which is a load of crap as you all should know.
