“Weekend Session, Part I: Murph shares the First Batch of “Albums of the Day at Pinterest” with the Readership featuring Many Great Bands of the Recent Past” by Chef Murph MacDougal

--> --> --> --> --> -----------------------------
Today’s CD is yet another ‘best of’ compilation by Procol Harum: “Inside-Outside: the Very Best of Live and in the Studio” (2014).  This two-CD set is a collector’s item although some long-time fans express anger over the fact that Matthew Fisher’s name and photo were left off the set.  However, if you know the story of how Fisher took Gary Brooker and Keith Reid to court over “A Whiter Shade of Pale” songwriting credits, it was a horrible story and somewhat understandable in the same way the Rolling Stones have sort of minimized Bill Wyman’s contributions to the band.  Longtime band mates do horrible shit to one another on occasion but what matters here is the MUSIC.  The MUSIC IS WHAT MATTERS, MATES, two CDs chock-full of great stuff from the beginning to modern-day versions of old favorites-stuff that will make you jump with joy!  What is more, you can buy it for about $10.00 so if you have NOT yet introduced your ears to the band, do it now by using our link.  Go to Amazon.com and buy it now—you will be glad you did!

SPRING SESSION 2015

BLOGPOST #1,645 AT THE AICP-END

Welcome to the FIRST Post of the Weekend Edition at the American Institute of Culinary Politics-Elemental News of the Day
Bakersfield, CA, 05-24-2015 Sunday: Welcome, we are going to do something we have not done before or more like, we are going to do it in a different way.  I realized I went long yesterday, as we intended doing things differently altogether because the weekends business in the spring and summer is slow.  We advertise an “album of the day” at Pinterest every day but some of them do not have links with which to buy them here at the American Institute of Culinary Politics-Elemental News of the Day.  It is the ads that keep us functioning, you know, up-and-running and so we want to make sure that when we present something at Pinterest and give them the web address with which, to come see us, they can find the direct links to Amazon.com.  This gives us the credit for the sale and gives the reader a great CD that he or she might have never heard of, a win-win for everyone.
Thursday, January 22, 2015 @ Pinterest:
01-22-2015 Th: The Association- “And then…along comes the Association / this is one of the all-time great CDs by one of the top vocal groups of the 1960’s-early 1970’s.  These guys had numerous hits including the title cut on this CD and that is why you need to find it at the Elemental News of the Day! You can find the link for this exceptional CD up top.
Friday, January 23, 2015 @ Pinterest:
01-23-2015 F: The Jefferson Airplane- “Takes Off” / 1966 was a great year to live in San Francisco as the era of Flower Power, Free Love, and ‘Tune in, turn on, and drop out’ opened the door to a new and wild kind of sound: psychedelic rock music of which, the Jefferson Airplane were the best!  Once again, you can locate the link up top.

Saturday, January 24, 2015 @ Pinterest:
01-24-2015 S: The Band- “Music from the Big Pink” / 1967 / anyone who does not know the Band needs to check them out, as they were the quintessential performers of North American music.  They could rock-and-roll and they could do most other forms so please check them out! This is a group that we have not yet offered the readership here at the AICP-END Blog so we are proud to do so now.  We expect to present the Band to you sometime in 2016.
Sunday, January 25, 2015 @ Pinterest:
01-25-2015 Su: The Flamin’ Groovies- “Sneakers/Rockfield Sessions” / 1967 / The Groovies were one of the original San Francisco bands of the Psychedelic Sixties and this is the coupling of two original unreleased CDs on one.  The Groovies are definitely a band we have promoted here at the blog; in fact, we began offering them right from the start when we began our blog at Google Blogger.  We love them and know that you will, too so please: check it out!
Please check out the above CDs!
The first couple of weeks of doing ‘album of the day’ at Pinterest, we did not do it every single day whereas after a while we did.  However, when we come to June next month, we will forego doing any Facebook, Pinterest, or anything else online with the exception of ‘best of’, recipes, political cartoons, favorite Facebook Posts (from our site), and whatever else we choose to do.  When the political season ignites later in the year and especially in 2016, we will be up-and-running seven days a week.  Thanks for joining us today.
We are in the Business of giving our All to our Readers!

ROBIN TROWER ANTHOLOGY

THE BEST OF PROCOL HARUM—HALCYON DAZE
As always, we have a great time around here and that is why we want all of you to become a part of the organization by submitting articles to us for inspection and full-credit.  It is a great thing if you would do this, as it is a symbiotic relationship: we give you the space to share your recipes and in return, you send us more and more people who will become dedicated followers of the AICP-END.  Currently of multi-diversity across the Internet, it is important that we hear the voices of more and more people from all walks of the foodservice profession —join us. We urge our readership to write to us, leave comments, and if there are any of you, who would care to write an article for us, please get in touch via Magnolia Hilltop Brewers, P.O. Box 20669, Bakersfield, CA 93390-0669.  We obviously do not pay anything but give YOU full byline and that, my friends, is worth its weight in gold.  We want as many people who want to write to be able to do so and we believe that by presenting a forum for our fellow chefs, we are doing something for our beloved industry.  We love diversity and hope to add new and different authors to our pantheon of chefs, food and beverage directors, and culinary professionals.  Come on and join us, it will be fun! Expect that when all of us have run through our cycle, we will be introducing some brand-new talent or so Stinky says.
LIVE AT THE HOLLYWOOD BOWL 1973
We have touted the AARC Technology Company here in Bakersfield, CA, and must add the Nerds on Call.com folks.  Without them keeping our blog up-and-running, there is no telling where we would be now.  We have a great many problematic issues here at the AICP-END because even with the best security systems in the world, malware and other terrible fecal materials manage to penetrate the blog site.  Do yourself a favor, hire the best, and note, you can have online help via a remote button on your desktop for just $25 per month!  Get in contact with the Nerds now!  Here is another note: do NOT do business with Galkos Construction, Inc., those people are nothing but crooks as if you lease your system, you will never pay it off, plus you have to pay them for excess energy produced by your system, the electric company does not buy all of it nor do they!  AVOID GCI AT ALL COSTS; DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE CROOKS!
THEN AND NOW—THE BEST OF PROCOL HARUM
We are selling recipes all the time and you can order things you would like copies of simply by mailing us your name, address, the recipe you would like and a check for $1.00.  You can buy an entire week’s worth of recipes when we do a series simply by sending us a check or money order (no cash please!) for $20 and we will have it out to you in the next day’s mail.  Please become a part of the AICP-END by sending us your names, addresses, and information and we will welcome all of you with open arms!
DAY OF THE EAGLE—BEST OF ROBIN TROWER
To buy paintings, recipes, or full article series, please send us your information by mailing us at P.O. Box #20669, Bakersfield, CA, 93309-0669.  You can call about paintings at 661-374-1430; we will take all calls and provide to you as much information as is available.  It is time that we begin taking the next step and to immortalize Beverly Carrick for eternity and begin moving towards the establishment of a website of our own! God bless each single one of you amongst our fan base!
STATE TO STATE—LIVE ACROSS AMERICA 1973-1980
I hope you enjoyed today and that you will seek out all of the CDs we promote here at the AICP-END Blog.  We hope that you help support us by using our links to redirect you to Amazon.com, the world’s greatest online supermarket for anything one can want.  We do the best we can to benefit the readership and attempt to edify and to instruct them in the ways of the world and how we might be able to change it.  Sure, there are flashier, highflying blogs that can open the parameters of your mind but we are blue-collar working folks even though we wear white jackets and work in professional foodservice.  Well, it has been one great week and I am so glad that you spent time with me, there is so much to do but never enough time.  Anyhow, we will meet again so God bless and keep the faith and remember: Libertarianism is the way to go.  See you soon!

INSIDE-OUTSIDE LIVE—THE BEST OF LIVE AND IN THE STUDIO
The Closing Words of our Founder, Stinkbug:
Anyhow, let us close with this impassioned plea—please leave some comments and/or become a follower. What's more, why not spend some money and purchase an album by Procol Harum, Robin Trower, Gary Brooker, Matthew Fisher, James Dewar, and everyone else we advertise here and/or buy a book by any of the authors we advertise here! In addition to that, we occasionally offer cookbooks and other oddball items so always pay attention to whatever you find in the tabs on the right side of the home page, everything you need is there!  Allied with them, we are pleased to market their merchandise!  Amazon.com is one of the greatest—if not the ultimate greatest!—online department stores in which, one can find almost everything on the planet.  We love them and they love us and we want all of you to visit them daily, take advantage of their deals on everything from kitchen equipment to cookbooks, CDs, DVDs, and everything else a person could want.  Everything you buy from them puts money into our pockets, which allows us to keep this fine blog up-and-running 24/7/365!  God bless America and God bless Amazon.com, the world’s largest online marketplace in the world and most likely in the Universe!
Thank you, my friends!

This is a picture of me when I was a young chef in the kitchen back in 1975. I apprenticed underneath my father and spent six years working for him in his British-Irish restaurant in Fresno, California. I later moved to Frazier Park, California, and spent quite a few years working in the area and that is where I met Stinkbug. Anyhow, I am now working at a country club over on the coast near San Luis Obispo.
