Procol Harum released its next CD, “MMX,” (2012), another great live collection featuring the modern-day band doing songs from both the past and present, better than ever.  Whether or not you know the other band members matters not, what matters is that Gary Brooker is at the helm singing the songs with a gusto not seen since the OLD days.  Please go to Amazon.com and pick the CD up at the price, the format, and obviously the condition that is right for you, so please, go there now!

SPRING SESSION 2015

BLOGPOST #1,633 AT THE AICP-END

The Democrat Party was lucky that it did not lose MORE seats than what it did last year…
Bakersfield, CA, 05-12-2015 Tuesday: I have to say, it is somewhat great to come in but once a year as it allows me truly to look back on things I might have predicted or thought might happen and then see how most of them did not.  I do not believe ANYONE could have foreseen the drastic drubbing MY party took at the polls last year in November 2014; I think we knew we knew were in trouble but not to the point it seemingly turned out to be.  As with George W. Bush in 2006, no matter what the Republicans did or might have done, people were dead-tired over six years of Bush.  Granted, he is not culpable for everything that happened while he was in office but boy howdy, did he take the blame for all of it and more?
…our losses were the Fault of failing popularity of President Obama…
Four times since I have been blogging here at the American Institute of Culinary Politics-Elemental News of the Day, I have discussed the problems with Obamacare from the standpoint of being both a Democrat and an American employer affected by it.  I thought the people would see with clarity that Barack Obama was not the bad guy here but the Republicans tarred and feathered him to the point of what MY party did to President George W. Bush over the miserable war in Iraq.  Loyal Democrats did their best to come out and save President Obama and his plan but no, we had defectors and dimwits in our own camp.  We had one such as that flipping economist and partial creator of the Affordable Care Act, Jonathan Gruber, who went out and ruined it, actively ruined it by saying the stupid shit that he did—did he possibly think FOX News would never have found clip after clip of him calling the American people stupid? Sheesh!
Jonathan Gruber was one of the main reasons the people clobbered the Democrat Party…
Last November, the people flooded the polls enough to do everything they could to neuter our president and to stop him from carrying out anything more of his agenda.  Thanks to him, Jonathan Gruber, and others such as the pathetic little Harry Reid, the GOP was able to gather up enough support from one end of the country to go out there and to stymie President Obama.  Thankfully, our president does not care who he must fight and therefore continues fighting to keep his agenda moving forward as his own campaign logo depicted.  I am just glad that we did not have a presidential election last November or we would have had someone such as Mitt Romney or Donald Trump sitting behind the desk in the Oval Office, raping the nation as usual.
Had last year been a Presidential Election Year, we might have had Mitt Romney or Donald Trump sitting behind the Desk in the Oval Office…
We also have growing problems here in the country when people no longer feel safe as violence of all kinds continues going up more so than ever before in the nation’s history.  We have seen riots in several cities across the United States, Baltimore being the most recent example as well as over the growing threat of militant Islam.  I have for many years warned against the dangers of allowing in more and more Muslims because we are sowing the seeds of own destruction all across the country.  Nine days ago, two Muslim jihadists went on a short rampage down in Garland, Texas, when they went to shoot up a contest that would award $10,000 dollars to the best depiction of the Prophet Mohammad.  Granted, maybe that was not the smartest thing to do (Pamela Geller, do you hear me?) but we still have the right to say what we want just as we have the right to own and responsibly use firearms.
Does it make sense to anger an entire Faith? Maybe not, but they also need to find a sense of frigging humor!  Fuck their Prophet!
Overall, when you combine these things into one ongoing narrative, it sure does seem like government at most levels is losing control.  At least in Texas on Sunday, May 03, 2015, Garland, Texas did not become another Charlie Hebdo massacre thanks to the quick reaction of some local cops.  We cannot allow  a bunch of loco Muslims running around shooting people up, sure, maybe they felt the organizers of the event were making fun of their so-called ‘prophet,’ but in this country—even with a Muslim president—we still have a right to free speech.  Thank God for that and thank God that some people are able to carry firearms as otherwise, we would be in a world of hurt.
I am glad the Police in Garland, Texas, shot the Two Islamist Thugs…
As for white cops shooting black suspects, do you think it ‘funny’ that Latino people do not go out and run amuck in the streets when a cop shoots one of us? There are far more of us—Hispanics—than there are of black Americans and I simply do not see the cops shooting us to the point that we go out and riot in the streets.  At least, if we felt compelled to go out and make a statement, we would not burn down our barrios, people, that makes absolutely NO sense to me whatsoever.  All right, that will do it for today, let’s head on out to the end.
I do not see White Cops shooting Latinos and the Latino Community going out and burning down their OWN Neighborhoods…

As always, we have a great time around here and that is why we want all of you to become a part of the organization by submitting articles to us for inspection and full-credit.  It is a great thing if you would do this, as it is a symbiotic relationship: we give you the space to share your recipes and in return, you send us more and more people who will become dedicated followers of the AICP-END.  Currently of multi-diversity across the Internet, it is important that we hear the voices of more and more people from all walks of the foodservice profession —join us. We urge our readership to write to us, leave comments, and if there are any of you, who would care to write an article for us, please get in touch via Magnolia Hilltop Brewers, P.O. Box 20669, Bakersfield, CA 93390-0669.  We obviously do not pay anything but give YOU full byline and that, my friends, is worth its weight in gold.  We want as many people who want to write to be able to do so and we believe that by presenting a forum for our fellow chefs, we are doing something for our beloved industry.  We love diversity and hope to add new and different authors to our pantheon of chefs, food and beverage directors, and culinary professionals.  Come on and join us, it will be fun! Expect that when all of us have run through our cycle, we will be introducing some brand-new talent or so Stinky says.
ALL THIS AND MORE
We have touted the AARC Technology Company here in Bakersfield, CA, and must add the Nerds on Call.com folks.  Without them keeping our blog up-and-running, there is no telling where we would be now.  We have a great many problematic issues here at the AICP-END because even with the best security systems in the world, malware and other terrible fecal materials manage to penetrate the blog site.  Do yourself a favor, hire the best, and note, you can have online help via a remote button on your desktop for just $25 per month!  Get in contact with the Nerds now!  Here is another note: do NOT do business with Galkos Construction, Inc., those people are nothing but crooks as if you lease your system, you will never pay it off, plus you have to pay them for excess energy produced by your system, the electric company does not buy all of it nor do they!  AVOID GCI AT ALL COSTS; DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE CROOKS!
THE SPIRIT OF NØKKEN
We are selling recipes all the time and you can order things you would like copies of simply by mailing us your name, address, the recipe you would like and a check for $1.00.  You can buy an entire week’s worth of recipes when we do a series simply by sending us a check or money order (no cash please!) for $20 and we will have it out to you in the next day’s mail.  Please become a part of the AICP-END by sending us your names, addresses, and information and we will welcome all of you with open arms!
THE PLAYFUL HEART
To buy paintings, recipes, or full article series, please send us your information by mailing us at P.O. Box #20669, Bakersfield, CA, 93309-0669.  You can call about paintings at 661-374-1430; we will take all calls and provide to you as much information as is available.  It is time that we begin taking the next step and to immortalize Beverly Carrick for eternity and begin moving towards the establishment of a website of our own! God bless each single one of you amongst our fan base!
AT THE BBC 1973-1975
Back in the 1960’s, I used to be a big fan of British rock and roll, something that carried over with me into the 1970’s and the 1980’s and Procol Harum was among my favorite groups.  I must say that I feel somewhat proud that I get to do one week of Procol Harum and Robin Trower, all of this music is wonderful, there is none better.  I can recall driving in my car when the opening organ chords of “A Whiter Shade of Pale” began and how the shivers went up and down my spine.  The band was great; I fell in love with them and had all of their original nine albums plus their greatest hits.  I also owned Robin Trower’s first eight albums along with the first two albums Matthew Fisher made (although they were nothing like the work he did with Procol Harum) and played them until they wore out.  I am telling you, this is a delightful band and if you have not yet bought the first 2-3 CDs, then by all means, please do so because June 01, 2015, we will begin doing another band.   Adios, amigos, nos vemos a la manana!

MMX
The Closing Words of our Founder, Stinkbug:
Anyhow, let us close with this impassioned plea—please leave some comments and/or become a follower. What's more, why not spend some money and purchase an album by Procol Harum, Robin Trower, Gary Brooker, Matthew Fisher, James Dewar, and everyone else we advertise here and/or buy a book by any of the authors we advertise here! In addition to that, we occasionally offer cookbooks and other oddball items so always pay attention to whatever you find in the tabs on the right side of the home page, everything you need is there!  Allied with them, we are pleased to market their merchandise!  Amazon.com is one of the greatest—if not the ultimate greatest!—online department stores in which, one can find almost everything on the planet.  We love them and they love us and we want all of you to visit them daily, take advantage of their deals on everything from kitchen equipment to cookbooks, CDs, DVDs, and everything else a person could want.  Everything you buy from them puts money into our pockets, which allows us to keep this fine blog up-and-running 24/7/365!  God bless America and God bless Amazon.com, the world’s largest online marketplace in the world and most likely in the Universe!
Muchas gracias, buen amigos!

  1. Chef Hector admits that the losses experienced by the Democrats last November blew his mind, he knew there were going to be some but nothing compared to what happened. Yet, the Dems in power do not seem to have learned the lesson the losses showed them that the path they travel and continue to travel is not the way the party should go. If we want to regain the initiative, we need to find someone to replace Hillary Clinton because the woman is a crook, smells like a crook, and which, many think would be the third term of Barack Obama more so than her husband is, the former president is. He suspects that NEXT year is going to be a GOP landslide in many places but especially in the presidential race. If we wish to retain power, we must begin forging a new way ahead NOW.

  2. At least Donald Trump would know what the heck he is doing. The guy in the White House now is either dumb as a box of rocks or does everything to destroy the nation. If he were not the first nonwhite president, I can tell you, he would never have won reelection and most likely would have undergone impeachment. I hope something remains when he is out of office.
