SPRING SESSION 2015

BLOGPOST #1,630 AT THE AICP-END

Marriage is NOT a Right—it is a Luxury bestowed upon us by Government…
Bakersfield, CA, 05-09-2015 Saturday: Yesterday, we began discussing a touchy issue, one that seems to be as divisive today as slavery was back in the 18th and 19th Centuries.  What I am discussing is the idea that marriage is a “RIGHT” and that no one—including governments—can tell us who we can and who we cannot ‘love.’  Friends, I have ‘been around in life,’ in fact, this October, I will be 70 frigging years old, something I once dreaded but since have come to accept with less fear.  Since I have been able to reclaim my health by giving up cigarettes and scaling down the amount of booze I drink per day to a six-pack of beer or less, I am not as frightened of hitting old age as I once was.  I have lived life on the edge as back in the day--the 1980’s--and back; I did many risky things and in fact, lost my first wife because I was an old hound dog and felt that I had to dip the wick into every that crossed my path.
I have lived a well, uh, ‘interesting life’…
Having worked in restaurants my entire life and done most of it in my hometown of Ventura or elsewhere up-and-down the coast, I came across numerous young women waiting tables and did my best to get as much nookie as I could.   That is what young men do, they bed as many waitresses as they can and do so in and out of marriage.  My first wife, Alicia, was someone of a crazy chick and we lived a wild life, all the while working at some of the most famous restaurants, hotels, and country clubs in and out of Ventura Beach and Ventura County, California.  As the years went by, I could not keep up with the lifestyle and gradually had to hang back concerned about my health.  I picked up some disreputable diseases most of which the doctors could treat but some that have been with me to this day.
I put my Health at Risk; thankfully, I have recovered it as Best I can
I did my best as a father to instruct my five kids as to the right way to live their lives and have been fairly lucky in that none of them have suffered serious injury or have lost their lives.  I am proud of them as well as my grandkids and am grateful to have met and married a wonderful woman who has helped me along in life.  It took time to recover from some of the lifestyle issues in which, I involved myself but such is the by-product of success and money.  Now, I can say that I walk the ‘straight and narrow’ and am pleased that I do.  I do my best to share my hard-earned lessons with not only my kids but also the young people who have worked with me over the past couple of decades.
I am not proud of many of the Things I have done but such is the way of Youth…
When it comes to who can and who cannot ‘marry’ one another, I could care less; however, what I do care about is maintaining societal norms so that my kids, grandkids, and eventually great grandkids can grow up in a somewhat normal society.  The politicians no longer concern themselves with allowing this to happen, unfortunately, they look for every single group, sub-group, and sub-sub-group to promote so they can get more and more piles of cash with which, to prolong their flipping careers on the public dole.  If I truly believed that the politicians felt in their hearts the things that splatter out of their decrepit mouths, I might not suffer the opposition I do within my heart over seeing two men marry one another but I do.  I do not think it is right nor do I believe that two men or two women should be able to adopt children.
Marriage has been with us throughout the History of Humanity and the Definition has NEVER changed even in Societies that allowed or promoted it…
What I know is this: over the years, I have seen most every group of people one can imagine, that is one of the outstanding joys one has when one is a ‘lifer’ in the world of professional foodservice.  I do my best to employ a wide range of humankind but I do draw the line at certain things and have gone to court over them to protect my likes and dislikes when it comes to giving someone a job or not giving them a job.  I might hire someone who suffers confusion as to what ‘its’ gender might be but pick and choose exactly where I am going to place them.  If I have some mixed-up twit who believes that he is a woman and wants to wear a dress, that person is NOT going to be the face of my establishment waiting on customers.  While I can hang with it, some guests may not be able to do so, so I am not going to drive away potential repeat clientele to allow some mixed-up fuck to wait my frigging tables.
…Homosexuality has also been the Downfall of many Great Civilizations as well…
Sure, some whine and snivel over my views but that young man who wants to dress and appear as a woman is at best going to wash pots and pans or is going to assist the pantry chef by peeling carrots, onions, and cleaning celery and other vegetables.  There is no way I am going to send that pathetic little shit out to represent me at the tables as I do not want to lose business.  After a period of washing pots and feeling crappy doing it, they normally will come to terms with the dress code and will accept MY requirements so they can move up to waiting tables and making some fat juicy monetary tips.  Maybe one day, we will be able to accept ‘circus freaks’ interacting with us and us thinking nothing about it but for now, at least while the older folks like me still run things and do business with ALL classes and types of people, they will respect us in the same way they want US to respect THEM.
If you want MY Respect, then you must Respect ME…

LIVING OUT OF TIME LIVE

SEVEN MOONS WITH JACK BRUCE
As always, we have a great time around here and that is why we want all of you to become a part of the organization by submitting articles to us for inspection and full-credit.  It is a great thing if you would do this, as it is a symbiotic relationship: we give you the space to share your recipes and in return, you send us more and more people who will become dedicated followers of the AICP-END.  Currently of multi-diversity across the Internet, it is important that we hear the voices of more and more people from all walks of the foodservice profession —join us. We urge our readership to write to us, leave comments, and if there are any of you, who would care to write an article for us, please get in touch via Magnolia Hilltop Brewers, P.O. Box 20669, Bakersfield, CA 93390-0669.  We obviously do not pay anything but give YOU full byline and that, my friends, is worth its weight in gold.  We want as many people who want to write to be able to do so and we believe that by presenting a forum for our fellow chefs, we are doing something for our beloved industry.  We love diversity and hope to add new and different authors to our pantheon of chefs, food and beverage directors, and culinary professionals.  Come on and join us, it will be fun! Expect that when all of us have run through our cycle, we will be introducing some brand-new talent or so Stinky says.
RT@RO08
We have touted the AARC Technology Company here in Bakersfield, CA, and must add the Nerds on Call.com folks.  Without them keeping our blog up-and-running, there is no telling where we would be now.  We have a great many problematic issues here at the AICP-END because even with the best security systems in the world, malware and other terrible fecal materials manage to penetrate the blog site.  Do yourself a favor, hire the best, and note, you can have online help via a remote button on your desktop for just $25 per month!  Get in contact with the Nerds now!  Here is another note: do NOT do business with Galkos Construction, Inc., those people are nothing but crooks as if you lease your system, you will never pay it off, plus you have to pay them for excess energy produced by your system, the electric company does not buy all of it nor do they!  AVOID GCI AT ALL COSTS; DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE CROOKS!

ALL THIS AND MORE
I hate the reason that we must even discuss marriage as to who can and who cannot partake of the institution, can we not just table it for now and allow the norms of society to continue unabated.  We should be able to respect the mores of society especially if they have been in place for as long as they have.  It is not as if same-sex marriage has been with us throughout human history, what has been with us is that homosexuality in general has in many cases been seen as something deviant and its practitioners persecuted although some ‘enlightened societies’ have given it widespread acceptance.  Unfortunately, for every society that ACCEPTED homosexuality as an equal state of human affairs all seem to have gone down to destruction, it is something that happens to long time liberal cultures and it is never good.  Do we really want to weaken our society by allowing in and giving state sanctions to deviant and perverted ways of life or do we wish to protect society and keep it strong?  However, at the same time saying we can accept perversion at certain levels—be glad you have the right to marital contracts that give you everything but the name “marriage” to your civil unions…that is what you wanted at one time, is it not?  Have a great day and be sure to comment on this and other topics, I welcome all levels of the conversation to join me in this discussion, thanks and have a great Saturday. God bless and have a great day!
THE SPIRIT OF NØKKEN
The Closing Words of our Founder, Stinkbug:
Anyhow, let us close with this impassioned plea—please leave some comments and/or become a follower. What's more, why not spend some money and purchase an album by Procol Harum, Robin Trower, Gary Brooker, Matthew Fisher, James Dewar, and everyone else we advertise here and/or buy a book by any of the authors we advertise here! In addition to that, we occasionally offer cookbooks and other oddball items so always pay attention to whatever you find in the tabs on the right side of the home page, everything you need is there!  Allied with them, we are pleased to market their merchandise!  Amazon.com is one of the greatest—if not the ultimate greatest!—online department stores in which, one can find almost everything on the planet.  We love them and they love us and we want all of you to visit them daily, take advantage of their deals on everything from kitchen equipment to cookbooks, CDs, DVDs, and everything else a person could want.  Everything you buy from them puts money into our pockets, which allows us to keep this fine blog up-and-running 24/7/365!  God bless America and God bless Amazon.com, the world’s largest online marketplace in the world and most likely in the Universe!
Thank you!

  1. Last week, Chef Stinkbug left a comment at Think Progress’ website via its newsletter criticizing the fact that all of a sudden, gays and liberals are all out beating the drums of marriage ‘equality,’ meaning that virtually anyone can marry one another or anything they so wish. It is possible that the outrage that might come out of that comment will condemn our blog to the crapper of history but whatever happened to the right to FREEDOM of SPEECH--did it vanish or can we uncover it somewhere? People have a right to express their feelings without fear of retribution because once we go down that path; we outnumber them more they outnumber us so I would not want to get into a fight with the bulk of society because some have perverted ideas. Look, marriage is NOT a right, it is a benefit given to us by society. Each state can make its own laws as to who can and who cannot marry and they all contain one commonality: marriage is between ONE man and ONE woman and anyone who disagrees simply is blowing smoke up the asses of fellow gays. Long ago, not EVERY Dem supported the DOMA whereas now, because of political expediency, they all support it. Look at the black community, once the Dems supported them but when the blacks no longer had any value for the party, the Dems moved them BACK to the end of the bus while they went out there and brought in the Gays and the Hispanics. How frigging sad and the same thing will one day happen to the Gays, when it makes sense to politicians to throw them back under the bus they will and do it without a second thought. People, let us support one another and do it with humanity and not because some politician wants to exploit us. Please, join us today and share your thoughts, we welcome every viewpoint. Thank you!
