“Political Topics and Essays, Part CDXLV: Itzi opens the Week by continuing the Discussion started by her Colleague, Cheryl la Tigre on what matters to the Democrat Party as well as the Problems America faces both at Home and around the World” by Chef Itzi Nakamura

Procol Harum released its next CD, “The Singles A’s and B’s,” (2003), another great packaging of the band’s singles with both A- and B-sides.  Many bands back from the founding generation of British and American rock-and-roll have all released albums in which they give you ALL the singles, something that is fun.  Many people, unless they bought the 45 rpm records of the day know the ‘B’ sides and that is why we highly recommend this CD for your listening pleasure.  Please seek it out by using the link we provide you up top so you can go to Amazon.com and pick it up now in the format, the condition, and the price that is right for YOU!

SPRING SESSION 2015

BLOGPOST #1,618 AT THE AICP-END
Hello and welcome to another week of liberal views…
Bakersfield, CA, 04-27-2015 Monday: It is great to follow my Hawaiian “sister”, Chef Cheryl La Tigre, because it provides the readership with the views of two different female Democrats albeit from the wonderful Hawaiian Islands.  I think Cheryl concerns herself with national politics and social causes such as promoting the idea that all of us—Gay, straight, bi-sexual, and whatever—can live together in harmony.  We do not have to tear at one another’s throats in an insane effort to condemn one side while promoting the other because we are all enlightened Americans living in the 21st Century.  We have more important problems facing us than who will and who will not bake a gay couple a wedding cake or shoot their wedding photos, things such as ISIS, al-Qaida, and homegrown jihadis are all things with which, we need to concern ourselves and not just a constant barrage of social issues no matter how important they may seem.
If Hillary is to be our nominee, then we must circle the wagons around her…
Nonetheless, I will discuss the social issues on-and-off throughout the week because we must face the facts—the election battles of 2016 are underway and will keep our attention for the next—what is it, 19 months?—and we must participate in the fight.  Everything that takes place over the spring, summer, fall, winter and again throughout most of next year until Election Day on Tuesday, November 08, 2016 will force us to spend copious amounts of energy as we do our best to push another Democrat into the White House.  Under the guidance of President Barack Obama, we have done so much in such a short time to rectify all of the wrongs plaguing the nation for decades, some since the end of the Civil War.  We still do not have equality for all Americans and that is something we must contend with if we are going to have a cohesive nation in the next 20 years.
Social Issues are important but so is the Global War on Terror
Therefore, I think Democrats will have to rally around whoever wins the nomination because at this point, we cannot assume Hillary Clinton is going to wrap up the nomination.  She stumbled when she first came out and toyed around tossing her hat into the ring and then when she did, she held private campaign stops, ones that did not permit the public or the press to enter and to interact with the candidate.  A week ago, we saw the GOP candidates going after Hillary almost exclusively rather than attacking themselves in New Hampshire, a sign of what is to come thanks to Rush Limbaugh, the blowhard political bullfrog who rules the airwaves.  (Please note that I do not support that jackal simply because the board of the AICP-END puts up the radio station that carries him on Maui onto each of my posts, I have to roll with the flow when it comes to stuff Stinkbug wants).
It should be clear to all that the GOP is going to crush Hillary first and then one another so what is our backup plan.
My second fear is that the next election is going to be a foreign policy election thanks to the growing crises we see around the world, something I discussed almost exclusively in my last go-round. I am the one who came up with the term and the idea of the GRAND BARGAIN, one in which, the civilized nations of the world link arms to crush the terrorists we see battling one another and the west around the globe.  Last September, that was the topic of most of my blog posts (please see my list of posts at the end of every post this week) because the global war on terror was getting out of hand.  The terrorists were and still are murdering, raping, maiming and terrorizing different parts of the world while our president concerns himself with his social agenda.  I am not criticizing him for doing so but it would make a difference if we could commit more time, effort and resources to crushing ISIS and its associated spin-off whack job groups.
The Grand Bargain—my Concept—is one that would work if we but attempted to form it…
As the week goes by, we will cover all of these topics and more as we have seven days to hash things out, which gives you plenty of time to participate in the process.  I would love to hear from all of you, you need to leave comments so we can share a dialogue and promote understanding among various groups of Americans and around the world with our allies.  A grand bargain would indeed be a great thing if the nations that have a stake in the global game—you know, trade, law enforcement, and battling climate change-global warming—would come together in a spirit of unity, cooperation, and friendship—and go out there and crush every terrorist group at one time.  United together, we could accomplish much and each partner could then tend to each one’s own unique spheres of influence as well as those that overlap with one another in mutual effort.  If we cannot come together to accomplish these lofty goals, then we must concede the fight to those who will destroy us as we cannot do it alone.
Prepare yourselves for a week of hot topics, stunning ideas, and soul-searching liberalism…

BBC LIVE IN CONCERT

I’LL BE THERE/JOURNEY’S END
As always, we have a great time around here and that is why we want all of you to become a part of the organization by submitting articles to us for inspection and full-credit.  It is a great thing if you would do this, as it is a symbiotic relationship: we give you the space to share your recipes and in return, you send us more and more people who will become dedicated followers of the AICP-END.  Currently of multi-diversity across the Internet, it is important that we hear the voices of more and more people from all walks of the foodservice profession —join us. We urge our readership to write to us, leave comments, and if there are any of you, who would care to write an article for us, please get in touch via Magnolia Hilltop Brewers, P.O. Box 20669, Bakersfield, CA 93390-0669.  We obviously do not pay anything but give YOU full byline and that, my friends, is worth its weight in gold.  We want as many people who want to write to be able to do so and we believe that by presenting a forum for our fellow chefs, we are doing something for our beloved industry.  We love diversity and hope to add new and different authors to our pantheon of chefs, food and beverage directors, and culinary professionals.  Come on and join us, it will be fun! Expect that when all of us have run through our cycle, we will be introducing some brand-new talent or so Stinky says.
GO MY WAY
We have touted the AARC Technology Company here in Bakersfield, CA, and must add the Nerds on Call.com folks.  Without them keeping our blog up-and-running, there is no telling where we would be now.  We have a great many problematic issues here at the AICP-END because even with the best security systems in the world, malware and other terrible fecal materials manage to penetrate the blog site.  Do yourself a favor, hire the best, and note, you can have online help via a remote button on your desktop for just $25 per month!  Get in contact with the Nerds now!  Here is another note: do NOT do business with Galkos Construction, Inc., those people are nothing but crooks as if you lease your system, you will never pay it off, plus you have to pay them for excess energy produced by your system, the electric company does not buy all of it nor do they!  AVOID GCI AT ALL COSTS; DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE CROOKS!
CLASSIC TRACKS AND RARITIES
We are selling recipes all the time and you can order things you would like copies of simply by mailing us your name, address, the recipe you would like and a check for $1.00.  You can buy an entire week’s worth of recipes when we do a series simply by sending us a check or money order (no cash please!) for $20 and we will have it out to you in the next day’s mail.  Please become a part of the AICP-END by sending us your names, addresses, and information and we will welcome all of you with open arms!
LICORICE JOHN DEATH
To buy paintings, recipes, or full article series, please send us your information by mailing us at P.O. Box #20669, Bakersfield, CA, 93309-0669.  You can call about paintings at 661-374-1430; we will take all calls and provide to you as much information as is available.  It is time that we begin taking the next step and to immortalize Beverly Carrick for eternity and begin moving towards the establishment of a website of our own! God bless each single one of you amongst our fan base!
THE FIRST FOUR LEGENDARY ALBUMS
Something else we will discuss this week is the ‘deal with Iran’ that President Obama has painstakingly negotiated at great expense to his personal reputation because it is important and it is clear to me the GOP wants to fight him over it.  I suspect the Republicans would rather have the Iranians agree to NO deal than to come to terms over a deal that might not have everything we want but enough to cause engagement between the West and the mullahs.  I suspect one of the reasons Iran is so damned stubborn when it comes to the negotiating of the deal is that they see the United States as a den of snakes, snakes that will fight them at every twist and turn just to do it.  If the Republicans had their way, there would be NO deal whatsoever so we must applaud the president for perseverance in accomplishing his goals.  The fact that the Iranians might come to terms with us is enough for us to keep pounding it into being.  Who knows—cooperation with the Iranians might bring peace to the world and bring them into the modern era?  We shall see what we shall see, my friends.  Aloha, I will see you tomorrow, same place, same time, same you and me.  Bye!
THE SINGLES A’S AND B’S
The Closing Words of our Founder, Stinkbug:
Anyhow, let us close with this impassioned plea—please leave some comments and/or become a follower. What's more, why not spend some money and purchase an album by Procol Harum, Robin Trower, Gary Brooker, Matthew Fisher, James Dewar, and everyone else we advertise here and/or buy a book by any of the authors we advertise here! In addition to that, we occasionally offer cookbooks and other oddball items so always pay attention to whatever you find in the tabs on the right side of the home page, everything you need is there!  Allied with them, we are pleased to market their merchandise!  Amazon.com is one of the greatest—if not the ultimate greatest!—online department stores in which, one can find almost everything on the planet.  We love them and they love us and we want all of you to visit them daily, take advantage of their deals on everything from kitchen equipment to cookbooks, CDs, DVDs, and everything else a person could want.  Everything you buy from them puts money into our pockets, which allows us to keep this fine blog up-and-running 24/7/365!  God bless America and God bless Amazon.com, the world’s largest online marketplace in the world and most likely in the Universe!
Thank you!

  1. Chef Itzi returns for her first engagement of 2015, the last time she was here, it was September and the theme she found more important was the growing crisis with ISIS and other radical Muslim groups. She also discussed her ideas for the “Grand Bargain,” the joining together of the world’s civilized nations to take out all of the terrorist groups around the world so we can get back to the business as usual state of affairs. Itzi also recognizes that we are in the beginning stages of yet another presidential political campaign season and so will seek to discuss the social issues that seem to perplex the mainland’s politics but not so much in the nation’s 50th state, a place where we accept EVERYONE no matter who and what they might be. It also makes damned good business sense and yet, we do protect religious organizations and church-owned businesses from having to participate in things in which, they might have issues of morality-immorality. If the rest of the nation could copy Hawaii, then Itzi believes the rest of the nation could live in the same harmony that we do so she will do her best to convert the mainland audience over the remainder of the week while discussing national security affairs, too. Please, join us today and share your ideas with her, she welcomes everyone.
