“Finally—More Political Cartoons and the Best in Moses’ Comments, Part Forty-One: the HUMP DAY Session finds Moses back to doing what he does Best and that is presenting and discussing Political Cartoons—please, join him today for some very Special Laughs” by Moses Scharbug III

--> --> --> -------------------------
The 60th release by the one-and-only King Crimson is yet another live CD featuring one of the band’s ‘ProjeKcts” meaning it is a sub-group of the band doing its thing on a stage somewhere in the world.  This 1999 release is “Live at the Jazz Café 1999,” which features a stimulated subgroup doing its thing.  With Robert Fripp aboard, that is all you need and we feel that once you hear it, you will concur.  Some less avid fans see this sort of thing as a way to pry additional funds out of a fan’s pocket but what with the numerous five-star offerings by the group, don’t worry, it’s worth the asking price of $25 plus!  Please, use the link, go to Amazon.com, and buy it NOW—you will be glad you did—the AICP-END does not lie to its readership!

THIRD DAY OF HANUKKAH

FALL SESSION 2014

BLOGPOST #1,488 AT THE AICP-END
HUMP DAY!
Bakersfield, CA, 12-18-2014 Thursday: It’s Hump Day today so we will return to the political cartoons with which, to lighten the mood.  It is the end of the year, I get that, the number of visits declines and that is A-OK with me.  We know that next year, things will begin picking up and that is great so today, as mentioned, we will look at some more political cartoons.  First, however, I would love to say this: I hope that the San Francisco 49ers sinks to the bottom of their division that even the lowly St. Louis Rams climb atop them.  If we have to watch that whacked-out coach, Jim Harbaugh scream and yell one more or time or to watch that ‘bush baby’ quarterback, Colin Kaepernick—the “Illustrated Man”—act like he’s Joe Montana or Steve Young, I will pull out my catheter and go nuts.  I was so glad that on Pearl Harbor Day that the Oakland Raiders beat the snot out of the 49ers, that was my moment of giddiness, I am telling you, I cannot stand that team and there are very few among the staff here who LIKES the 49ers.  I personally am a Pittsburgh Steelers fan, they are my favorite team and I am sorry that the 49ers and the Steelers did not meet this year.  Here we go with the cartoons:
#PC0017.1g Political Cartoon #443
I love this cartoon from January 21, 2014, one that shows Michelle Obama happy that she was old enough to sign up for AARP.  Her husband, the president, sits behind the desk in the Oval Office lamenting the fact that ‘not enough young people are signing up for Obamacare.’  I do not know what the president or his chief confidant, Valerie Jarrett believed but once the young folks of this nation discovered the sad fact that the Affordable Care Act was built atop their backs, they quit signing up for it.  The entire healthcare act is nothing more than a house of cards, awaiting the slightest breeze to come along and to knock it down.  From the time the Democrats shut out the Republicans in 2009 and began manipulating every facet of the government so they could shove this horrendous act through both houses of Congress and onto the president’s desk, most of us knew that its days were few.  We HOPE that the Republicans will do the right thing and defund it as the first step to ripping it apart but if they fail us, then they in turn will need to fear the voters on Election Day.
#PC0017.1h Political Cartoon #444
This cartoon makes light of the fact that maybe one day, NASA will finally be able to send astronauts to Mars.  Unfortunately, I am of the belief that thanks to eight years of Obamaism, the space agency’s days of glory are far behind it.  I expect that the Chinese or perhaps the Indians will make it to the moon and then onto the red planet.  Yes, I realize we have tested a new rocket by which, to send space travelers out into deep space but the way to go is to first build a moon colony and then build our rockets there, thereby being able to maximize fuel storage for a deep space flight.  The gravity of the moon is so much less that of Earth that it makes sense for us to colonize our nearest neighbor in space so we can build all of our space exploration devices there as well as to launch them from there, too.  Oh, I am sure there is some unknown that keeps us from doing this but I would love to know what it is!

#PC0017.1i Political Cartoon #445
Oh, you have to love this cartoon; it shows the morphing of President Richard M. Nixon saying, “I am not a crook” as it becomes New Jersey Governor Chris Christie saying he is ‘not a bridge-jammer,’ a reference to Bridgegate.  We live in a sad world, my friends, and it is my hope that we can get past the politics of anger, of distortion, and yes, of personal destruction so we can become a civilized people once again.  Time will tell, my friends, time will tell.

#PC0017.1j Political Cartoon #446
The next cartoon comes from Wednesday, January 22, 2014, and it attempts to show the Republicans as being the corrupt politicians in Washington, D.C.  The Democrats will never be able to put it behind them that they used ever-questionable legal move within the House and Senate to deem the Affordable Care Act already passed by attaching it to a bill that had been previously passed.  Millions of Americans cried ‘foul’ on this and yet, the Democrats went ahead and did it, patting one another on the back with glee that they had pulled one over on the American People.  I used to detest the Democrats but NOW, I absolutely HATE them thanks to what Barack Obama did to get his way and continues to do to get his way.  I predict that he will go down in history as the WORST president this nation has ever seen and that is tragic, as the black people of this country truly need a positive role model.

#PC0017.1k Political Cartoon #447
The final cartoon for today came out on Thursday, January 23, 2014 in the Bakersfield Californian, the place where we cull all of our political cartoons (well, most of them).  This one shows the president attempting to ‘discipline’ the NSA, seeing as how it recently had been caught spying on the American People (as though the president did not know).  What I have to say about all of the scandals is that it amazes me how easily they get pushed down the line by the next one that comes along and displaces them, NONE ever get fixed, they just go out of the public’s eye.  If we truly had a news media that devoted itself to the protection of the American People, we would suffer none of these insults.  I wish I had the money to buy the New York Times!

As always, we have a great time around here and that is why we want all of you to become a part of the organization by submitting articles to us for inspection and full-credit.  It is a great thing if you would do this, as it is a symbiotic relationship: we give you the space to share your recipes and in return, you send us more and more people who will become dedicated followers of the AICP-END.  Currently of multi-diversity across the Internet, it is important that we hear the voices of more and more people from all walks of the foodservice profession —join us. We urge our readership to write to us, leave comments, and if there are any of you, who would care to write an article for us, please get in touch via Magnolia Hilltop Brewers, P.O. Box 20669, Bakersfield, CA 93390-0669.  We obviously do not pay anything but give YOU full byline and that, my friends, is worth its weight in gold.  We want as many people who want to write to be able to do so and we believe that by presenting a forum for our fellow chefs, we are doing something for our beloved industry.  We love diversity and hope to add new and different authors to our pantheon of chefs, food and beverage directors, and culinary professionals.  Come on and join us, it will be fun! Expect that when all of us have run through our cycle, we will be introducing some brand-new talent or so Stinky says.

We have touted the AARC Technology Company here in Bakersfield, CA, and must add the Nerds on Call.com folks.  Without them keeping our blog up-and-running, there is no telling where we would be now.  We have a great many problematic issues here at the AICP-END because even with the best security systems in the world, malware and other terrible fecal materials manage to penetrate the blogsite.  Do yourself a favor, hire the best, and note, you can have online help via a remote button on your desktop for just $25 per month!  Get in contact with the Nerds now!  Here’s another note: do NOT do business with Galkos Construction, Inc., those people are nothing but crooks as if you lease your system, you will never pay it off, plus you have to pay them for excess energy produced by your system, the electric company does not buy all of it nor do they!  AVOID GCI AT ALL COSTS; DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE CROOKS!

I hope that you have enjoyed today’s assortment of cartoons and that you will be tomorrow along with everyone you know.  It is our goal to continue propelling out blog upward and outward so that it ranks among the greats.  We love the Rightwing News.com folks, they have some of the best posts any of us have ever read just as does the Atlas Shrugs Website, managed by Pamela Geller.  Conservatives own the radio waves as they do the online world and this is something that drives the Dems bonkers, they always seek ways by which, they can control and to dominate through various fairness doctrine bills, something no love of freedom can ever condone or accept.  Please help us by visiting us every day, as that will help us increase our numbers to reach astronomical limits.  We love you, hope that you love us, so please, join us today, and also at the Facebook Page, we invite you all to become one of us!  God bless, I will see you all tomorrow, take care and have a great Thursday!

Anyhow, let us close with this impassioned plea—please leave some comments and/or become a follower. What's more, why not spend some money and purchase an album by King Crimson and everyone else we advertise here and/or buy a book by any of the authors we advertise here! In addition to that, we occasionally offer cookbooks and other oddball items so always pay attention to whatever you find in the tabs on the right side of the home page, everything you need is there!  Allied with them, we are pleased to market their merchandise!  Amazon.com is one of the greatest—if not the ultimate greatest!—online department stores in which, one can find almost everything on the planet.  We love them and they love us and we want all of you to visit them daily, take advantage of their deals on everything from kitchen equipment to cookbooks, CDs, DVDs, and everything else a person could want.  Everything you buy from them puts money into our pockets, which allows us to keep this fine blog up-and-running 24/7/365!  God bless America and God bless Amazon.com!

  1. The HUMP DAY edition of the AICP-END features a return to the political cartoons that make all of us laugh such as ones dealing with NASA, the GOP, Richard M. Nixon and Chris Christie comparisons. We enjoy looking at and sharing political cartoons that we cull from the Bakersfield Californian newspaper as it provides us with unique insights into both ourselves and into the minds of others. We think it is always a good thing to know the minds of the Democrats as they are among the most devious of the political parties inhabiting modern-day America. At one time, your Grandfather’s Democrats were as patriotic as any other party in the country (with the exception of the communists or the socialists) but somewhere following the 1960s, we entered a new age in which, they became the communists and the socialists. What is so overwhelming is the idea that the GOP wants to follow in their footsteps that they believe everything the news media tells them they should believe and that drives all sane people bonkers. We want the Republicans to stand up and to fight all of the outrageous things the Obama Administration is doing such as legalizing another 5-8 million illegals NOW with millions more to come. Why do these people HATE the United States as much as they do what this nation has done that causes a portion of the people born here to want to see it destroyed. A time of reckoning is coming and it is coming soon, we must all be aware of the signs and to watch out for what’s to come. It might liberate us and it might be the ultimate end, only time will tell.
