“Political Topics and Essays, Part Two-Hundred-and-Eighty-Two: Chef Vicky discusses TWO Local Races here in California Today, the Salas-Rios Campaign for Assembly and the Vidak-Chavez Campaign for the State Senate—why do the Democrats LIE?” by Chef V. Vicky Mazarotti

We continue offering CDs today by the wildly electronic/experimental band, King Crimson.  The band’s sophomore effort, “In the Wake of Poseidon” came out in 1970 and featured a somewhat fluid lineup built around Robert Fripp and Peter Sinfield as well as Greg Lake and other in-and-out collaborators.  This CD is a great one, one that encapsulated parts of the band’s ongoing live show so parts of it were no surprise to those who had seen the band in concert.  Please use our link posted up top to go to Amazon.com—the world’s one-and-only online marketplace—and pick it up NOW at the price, the format, and in the condition that is right for you; YOU will be GLAD you did!  Thanks!

FALL SESSION 2014

BLOGPOST #1,430 AT THE AICP-END
I will be Glad when the Elections are over…
Bakersfield, CA, 10-21-2014 Tuesday: I must say that I have never been as depressed as I am now in a long time and it is not because business is bad or that my home life is horrible.  In fact, I am confident that with the right legal and insurance companies advice that we will be able to find a way to continue providing quality healthcare coverage to all of our employees even if we have to go a completely different route.  We think that these triage systems where people can pay a flat fee per month to receive quality healthcare is the way to go and that funding these groups of choice will be the way that many employers will go in the future.  You see, for every onerous law the government creates, there are always unintended consequences that blossom before the consumer’s eyes, giving him or her the necessary opportunity by which, they circumvent the worst parts of the law.  We are beginning to see this now with the Affordable Care Act and we can only hope that new ways of working around the worst parts of the bill will continue to present themselves so we can limit the amount of damage the law will do to ALL employers.
Why are the Democrats ALWAYS so Despicable?
We have some local races here in the area of California in which, we live, ones that see a great many NEGATIVE campaign advertisements, ALL from the Democrat side of the aisle.  We have TWO key races, one for State Senate between incumbent Andy Vidak and Luis Chavez and the other for the Assembly, a race between Pedro Rios and Rudy Salas.  Both Chavez and Salas are Democrats while Vidak and Rios are Republicans and the difference between the two parties is like night and day.  The GOP ads are positive, uplifting, and empowering while the Democrats are ugly, negative, and despicable.  The advertisements against Rios are horrible, they make Rios seem like he is the worst scumbag in the world.  They claim he missed EIGHTY PERCENT of the Delano, California, city council, which is nothing more than a fabrication.  Yet, they have all of these illegal alien types saying horrible things about him and making all sorts of negative statements that are nothing but false.
Pedro Rios is a GOOD Man
Mr. Rios served in the military after coming here as an illegal alien child, brought here by his family.  He made it through prestigious educational institutions and served the military of his adopted country, too, while earning citizenship.  The man left the state for ONE month so he could tend to family business in Argentina and yet, the Salas advertisements run by the Salas campaign fail to mention this.  The sad thing is, the GOP is not giving a great deal of money to the campaign of Rios, which is disgusting, an absolute insult to a state the Republican Party truly needs.  We have conservative Hispanic candidates who want to serve in government and yet, the leadership of the GOP could care less.  I can tell them this, when you throw worthwhile candidates under the bus, you get what you deserve and the GOP leadership is going to reap everything that it fails to sough.
Rudy Salas is a Horrible Bum of a Man as is his Entire Campaign
The other campaign between California State Senator Andy Vidak, Republican, and Luis Chavez, a no-account illegal alien scumbag who has said some pretty despicable things.  He has said that ‘nothing lives in the San Joaquin Valley but tumbleweeds,’ a nice thing to say about more than a million Californians.  His ads claim that SOMEONE in the Vidak campaign has said that Mr. Chavez does not few the Second Amendment favorably.  We have asked him countless times to please, tell us who slandered you so we can publish it and expose negativity on the side of the Republicans.  Yet, he and his campaign NEVER answer the queries and continue whining and moaning about how badly the Vidak campaign has hurt his feelings, the poor thing, so sad, so tragic, I wish we could expose whoever it was who hurt his tender little feelings, the lying bastard.,
Luis Chavez is another Democrat Bum
The problem with politics in the modern era is that the Democrats have NO limits when it comes to running campaign ads against their opponents.  As we have seen in these two races, the Democrats hammer away with relish against their opponents knowing that what dead Nazi propaganda Chief Joseph Goebbels said is true: “If you tell a lie long enough, the people will believe it.”  This is precisely what the Democrats think is going to win them reelection or to win a new seat, by being as nasty as they can, for as long as they can.  If anyone questions them on the content of their advertisements, they will not take questions and will do their best to get away.  This is becoming a very outrageous strategy that angers those of us who value scruples, morality, and Christian ethics; I hope that the two GOP candidates will trounce their opponents but one never knows.  Maybe we will have to try to do things the same way and outdo our opponents to the point that they beg us to stop.  Wouldn’t that be great?
Vote for Senator Andy Vidak of California

We urge our readership to write to us, leave comments, and if there are any of you, who would care to write an article for us, please get in touch via Magnolia Hilltop Brewers, P.O. Box 20669, Bakersfield, CA 93390-0669.  We obviously do not pay anything but give YOU full byline and that, my friends, is worth its weight in gold.  We want as many people who want to write to be able to do so and we believe that by presenting a forum for our fellow chefs, we are doing something for our beloved industry.  We love diversity and hope to add new and different authors to our pantheon of chefs, food and beverage directors, and culinary professionals.  Come on and join us, it will be fun! Expect that when all of us have run through our cycle, we will be introducing some brand-new talent or so Stinky says.

We have touted the AARC Technology Company here in Bakersfield, CA, and must add the Nerds on Call.com folks.  Without them keeping our blog up-and-running, there is no telling where we would be now.  We have a great many problematic issues here at the AICP-END because even with the best security systems in the world, malware and other terrible fecal materials manage to penetrate the blogsite.  Do yourself a favor, hire the best, and note, you can have online help via a remote button on your desktop for just $25 per month!  Get in contact with the Nerds now!  Here’s another note: do NOT do business with Galkos Construction, Inc., those people are nothing but crooks as if you lease your system, you will never pay it off, plus you have to pay them for excess energy produced by your system, the electric company does not buy all of it nor do they!  AVOID GCI AT ALL COSTS; DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE CROOKS!

IN THE COURT OF THE CRIMSON KING
I have no idea who will win what campaign or where but the thing is, no one who has half a brain can ever take the images their eyes see for granted, meaning, we have no idea what is going to happen on Election Day.  Back in 2012, we mostly believed that Mitt Romney was going to displace Barack Obama as president because the incumbent was horrible then and far worse now.  We need to see major change and transformation in this country if we are going to have anything of value to leave to our kids and their kids.  We certainly do not want to give them a top-heavy welfare state so all of us who think as we do must know that we have a moral duty to guide the younger people along on this journey, we cannot give our kids a nation as divided as what we have now, it would not be fair.  Please, open your hearts, your minds to the realities of modern-day America, we have the power, the ability, and the drive to fix it and that means we MUST fix it lest we watch the Democrats destroy it.  Have a great day, buy a King Crimson CD and let me know what you think by leaving a comment or two.  See you all tomorrow!
IN THE WAKE OF POSEIDON
Stinkbug’s Closing Words:
Anyhow, let us close with this impassioned plea—please leave some comments and/or become a follower. What's more, why not spend some money and purchase an album by King Crimson, Jimmy Page and Roy Harper, and Mott. What’s more, we also recommend buying CDs by Andy Fraser, Paul Rodgers, Mott the Hoople, Led Zeppelin, Paul Rodgers and Queen, and Backstreet Crawler. In addition to that, be sure to buy CDs by the second grouping of bands: Widowmaker, Crawler, Robert Plant, Bad Company, the Yardbirds, Free, Ian Hunter, Paul Kossoff, Jimmy Page and the Black Crowes, and everyone else we advertise here and/or buy a book by any of the authors we advertise here! In addition to that, we occasionally offer cookbooks and other oddball items so always pay attention to whatever you find in the tabs on the right side of the home page, everything you need is there!  Allied with them, we are pleased to market their merchandise!  Amazon.com is one of the greatest—if not the ultimate greatest!—online department stores in which, one can find almost everything on the planet.  We love them and they love us and we want all of you to visit them daily, take advantage of their deals on everything from kitchen equipment to cookbooks, CDs, DVDs, and everything else a person could want.  Everything you buy from them puts money into our pockets, which allows us to keep this fine blog up-and-running 24/7/365!  God bless America and God bless Amazon.com!
Thank you!

  1. Chef Vicky discusses two local races here in Kern County today, the Rudy Salas-Pedro Rios battle for the Assembly in Sacramento, CA, and the Andy Vidak-Luis Chavez battle for the State Senate. She laments the fact that the Democrats’ advertisements are so downright nasty, ugly, and despicable and points out the fact that the GOP candidates always run positive ads and never resort to the tactics their opponents use routinely. Why does politics have to be this way, is there never going to be a time when we can actually run uplifting campaigns instead of witnessing one side go down and dirty while the other attempts to remain on the up-and-up? Rudy Salas should be ashamed of his campaign’s advertising as is ranks among the worst we have seen and we hope that once you read today’s post that you will agree with us. The time has come for ALL political parties to observe certain rules of etiquette so we can move beyond these bare knuckles, drag-out fights that seem to be so common. Please, join us today for some intriguing political commentary in this countdown to Election Day 2014!
