“Political Topics and Essays, Part One Hundred-and-Ninety-Four: never doubt the Power of Music to spur a Rebellion against a Dishonest Government, we need Rock-and-Roll to lead the Way in driving the Obama Regime out of Power!” by Chef Tiresias Helenus Grinikeodopuloposlus

--> --> --> ------------------------------
The first CD for today is the second solo album by Mott the Hoople’s frontman, Ian Hunter.  The album is entitled, “All-American Alien Boy,” which came out in 1976 and continues this artist’s ongoing saga, a great one to be sure.  Guitarist Mick Ronson and other stellar musicians provide support to him, which makes this CD an important one, well worth, your hard-earned dollars to buy.  Go to Amazon.com and pick it up there at a great price, which gives us the credit and you, some wonderful ear candy!  Our next CD for today is the third effort by BAD COMPANY, entitled “Run with the Pack,” (1976), which contained more amazing hits—including the title cut—with more piano than ever giving the band an even greater sound.  This is definitely a CD everyone should own as it encapsulates the era by putting a wide variety of styles in one place.  Once you put it into your CD player, you will be quick to agree with us that it is a phenomenal CD and makes you pine for the “good old days!”  Please go to Amazon.com and pick this CD up now, as it is simply wonderful as well as the previous CD as it is a good one, too!

SUMMER SESSION 2014

BLOGPOST #1,342 AT THE AICP-END
DOWNHILL FRIDAY, FOLKS!
Bakersfield, CA, 07-25-2014 Friday: I had fun yesterday discussing modern music and I wanted to add something else to what we were discussing.  Musically, the 1960’s and the 1970’s were exciting times for rock-and-roll music, which to me, encompasses the blues, country-rock, and whatever other spinoff or original form is connected to it.  The 1980’s saw the birth of the electronic movement, which most every band did their best to imitate the sounds of swirling synthesizers and other electronic instruments.  In the 1990’s, we saw the birth of Grunge Rock as well as the minimalist rock of bands such as U2, all great stuff to be sure.  Had Kurt Cobain not blown off his head with his shotgun, there is no telling where the sound he and his bandmates crafted in their garages would have gone but I bet it would not sound like the crap we hear now!
It is too bad Kurt Cobain had to commit suicide…
The fact that Justin Bieber and all sorts of blonde-headed whores can all get up there, imitate the hell out of one another, and have massive careers doing it tells me the world of music is bereft of heroes.  Sure, the Rolling Stones are still rolling out there as is U2 but most of the OLD bands have either gone out of business or with new and different members do the oldies circuit like going to county fairs, Las Vegas, and wherever else there is for them to go.  We must be thankful that we still have the opportunity to hear these bands because the hits always sound good but the current musical era simply does not have the excitement that the opening decades do.  I mean, can anyone play a fricking guitar solo anymore?  It sure does not seem like it, it is all about crotch grabbing, twerking, and all sorts of other primal sexual expressionism that is enough to cause one to put a gun in their mouth and to take off the top of their fricking head!
Why does everyone have to grab his or her fricking crotch?
Thankfully, we have a few bands that arrive on the world stage that show that we still have musicians dedicated to doing things in the old ways albeit with new instrumentation and vocal styles.  That is WHY we love the Leaves so much, they are a band that has a diverse blend of musical influences, their melodies flow throughout their songs and yet, they can get down and rock-and-roll and does it hard, something that is a welcome diversion when living in the Era of Obamaism.  I think that if bands woke up and became political in their lyrics and their actions, and then began going after the Obamaists in the way they did to Lyndon Baines Johnson and Richard Millhouse Nixon that maybe we would not be in the fix we now are.  Oh, for the days when every concert featured political harangues, we need that same sort of fire to ignite the possibilities as to what Americans and the Western World can do, not to whom we can surrender.  The time for a spark is now more so than ever before needed and I hope it comes soon!
President Lyndon Baines Johnson
Yesterday, I forgot to mention a couple of the bands that came over to the United States during the various British Invasions so let me rectify that now.  The Moody Blues came over in the Second Wave of the British Assault, 1966-1968, as did Fleetwood Mac.  Both of these bands were welcome diversions and showed musicians what others could do.  The fact that the Moody Blues were light years ahead of the electronic explosion of the 1980’s tells you something that it took 15 years before what they did became mainstream.  Heck, Graham Edge, the noted drummer of the Moodies played an electronic drum kit, something no one else did until the age of electronic everythings.
The Moody Blues
My hope is that one day; we will have a revival instead of all of these boy bands and slutty chicks practically fornicating on stage.  If I had my druthers to see either that skank Madonna or Grace Slick, I would dump the first while rushing to see the second.  I think we are only dreaming when we think of Grace as she was a bit older than her bandmates in the Jefferson Airplane /Starship and now is happily retired.  She paints for her creative release and does a damned fine job of it; however, I will forever remember her from the 1960’s through the 1980’s, she was one of the all-time greats when it came to vocals.  If you do not believe me, look for those bands by perusing through our tags on the right side of your screen; look for the names of their bands and there you go!
The Jefferson Airplane
I am glad we can take some time off from hashing out political topics because let’s face it; Barack Obama is not going away anytime soon as the Republicans lack the balls to take the fight to him.  I will say this; however, at least John Boehner is demonstrating some spunk in suing the president on behalf of the American People as someone has to battle back against the crimes this administration routinely commits.  You see, the thing that makes us different from anyone else is the fact that we have a Constitution that guarantees the rights of the people while emplacing restrictions on the government; no nation has ever had a document such as ours ever before and this is why the Dems are so flipping mad.  If you do see, what is happening then you need to open your eyes as if you do not, you will become a perpetual serf!  Let’s close the post down now!

As always, we have a great time around here and that is why we want all of you to become a part of the organization by submitting articles to us for inspection and full-credit.  It is a great thing if you would do this, as it is a symbiotic relationship: we give you the space to share your recipes and in return, you send us more and more people who will become dedicated followers of the AICP-END.  Currently of multi-diversity across the Internet, it is important that we hear the voices of more and more people from all walks of the foodservice profession —join us. We urge our readership to write to us, leave comments, and if there are any of you, who would care to write an article for us, please get in touch via Magnolia Hilltop Brewers, P.O. Box 20669, Bakersfield, CA 93390-0669.  We obviously do not pay anything but give YOU full byline and that, my friends, is worth its weight in gold.  We want as many people who want to write to be able to do so and we believe that by presenting a forum for our fellow chefs, we are doing something for our beloved industry.  We love diversity and hope to add new and different authors to our pantheon of chefs, food and beverage directors, and culinary professionals.  Come on and join us, it will be fun! Expect that when all of us have run through our cycle, we will be introducing some brand-new talent or so Stinky says.

We have touted the AARC Technology Company here in Bakersfield, CA, and must add the Nerds on Call.com folks.  Without them keeping our blog up-and-running, there is no telling where we would be now.  We have a great many problematic issues here at the AICP-END because even with the best security systems in the world, malware and other terrible fecal materials manage to penetrate the blogsite.  Do yourself a favor, hire the best, and note, you can have online help via a remote button on your desktop for just $25 per month!  Get in contact with the Nerds now!  Here’s another note: do NOT do business with Galkos Construction, Inc., those people are nothing but crooks as if you lease your system, you will never pay it off, plus you have to pay them for excess energy produced by your system, the electric company does not buy all of it nor do they!  AVOID GCI AT ALL COSTS; DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE CROOKS!

SHOUTING AND POINTING
WIDOWMAKER
One of the things that have always kept the American spirit alive is the fact that music plays a big part in the role of average Americans’ lives.  Rock-and-roll is the one and only thing that inspires hope in the hearts of men and women, abused by their government and the music we crave comes from a certain time, WAY BEFORE the crap our grandchildren revere as the best there’s ever been.  Look at that little smuck, Justin Bieber, yes, he makes money but he’s also a punk and there is no room in manly society for punks such as he.  Do we envy him his money?  Sure, who would not but I would rather earn it actually doing something worthwhile rather than prancing around like a little Gay boy, twerking for the people.  Good Lord, what has become of the Western World when we praise slippery little punks like Bieber and his entire ilk?  Be here tomorrow and we will continue discussing whatever there is to discuss!

Stinkbug’s Closing:
Anyhow, let us close with this impassioned plea—please leave some comments and/or become a follower. What's more, why not spend some money and purchase an album by Widowmaker, Mott, Andy Fraser, Ian Hunter, Bad Company, Mott the Hoople, Led Zeppelin, Backstreet Crawler, Free, the Yardbirds, Paul Kossoff, and everyone else we advertise here and/or buy a book by any of the authors we advertise here! In addition to that, we occasionally offer cookbooks and other oddball items so always pay attention to whatever you find in the tabs on the right side of the home page, everything you need is there!  Allied with them, we are pleased to market their merchandise!  Amazon.com is one of the greatest—if not the ultimate greatest!—online department stores in which, one can find almost everything on the planet.  We love them and they love us and we want all of you to visit them daily, take advantage of their deals on everything from kitchen equipment to cookbooks, CDs, DVDs, and everything else a person could want.  Everything you buy from them puts money into our pockets, which allows us to keep this fine blog up-and-running 24/7/365!  God bless America and God bless Amazon.com!
Thank you!
