Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi—Head of ISIS—al-Qaida in Iraq & Syria
Bakersfield, CA, 02-15-2014 Saturday: It’s Saturday—that is a good thing and it means that we will cut back on the number of things we discuss today.  I have to laugh at an article I read in last week’s Bakersfield Californian, on how the main branch of al-Qaida has disowned their fellows operating in Iraq and Syria due to the level of brutality they practice.  I guess that for folks who cut the heads off screaming and pleading victims that blowing everyone up and then lopping off the heads of the survivors is excessively much for them to handle!  Actually, he is mad because the man running the combined efforts in both Iraq and Syria is not doing so with legal authority.  Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi is a renegade al-Qaida killer, who has elevated himself to the top of the heap in region while overall boss, Ayman al-Zawahiri lurks in his cave somewhere along the border between Pakistan and the ever-friendly Afghanistan.  I guess it is difficult when you cannot leave your cave and go on a road trip to Iraq and Syria to scold your subordinates but that seems to be the case for Mr. Zawahiri.  If he pokes his head out, he is liable to get a big kiss from Barack Obama and one of his drone strikes.  However, al-Baghdadi seems to have but one picture, one that is grainy and not all that good and he seems to move about the region at will.  It would seem that if Mr. Zawahiri wants Mr. al-Baghdadi to do what he wants, he’s going to have head west with numerous of his Jihadi fighters and put his underling under his thumb—if he can do it!
Ayman al-Zawahiri—overall Leader of al-Qaida: Cave Dweller
What seems to be the matter is that al-Baghdadi controls an enormous amount of power and is in conflict with the lawful, authorized version of al-Qaida in Syria, the Nusra Front.  However, ISIS, the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria is self-proclaimed and much larger than the boys doing the fighting for the Nusra leadership are.  It seems clear that al-Baghdadi is an usurper and it must cast some fear across the leadership on the other side of Iran because there is not much they can do about it save to go over to Iraq/Syria and put some discipline on the upstarts.  In many ways, this would seem somewhat comical but it is sort of like a pirate chieftain with eyes of the entire world not being able to exert control over the whole thing.  Regional leaders pop up and put the fear of God into their enemies while giving rewards to their friends and if not stopped and stopped soon, Zawahiri may never regain control.  I think that if even Osama bin Laden were still alive, he would be hard-pressed to straighten this mess out because when it seems you are confined to a cave, there is not much you can do, much less enforce on the young and the unruly!
Osama bin Laden—former Leader of al-Qaida until Obama whacked him
Therefore, Mr. Zawahiri issued a statement in which he proclaimed, “ISIS is not a branch of al-Qaida and we have no organizational relationship with it” and as a result, “al-Qaida is no longer responsible for the actions and behaviors” of these scumbags who have been doing their best to rid the area of the competition.  If it takes slaughtering the innocent and removing their heads, then so be it, this is how the jihadists go about their business and it’s a crying shame when we lost more than 100 brave Americans in the hellholes of Ramadi and Fallujah to have these bastards flying their standards over these cities.  It’s sort of like the Lord of the Rings and having different sorcerers like Sauron and Saruman and their accompanying orcs, trolls, goblins, and all the rest of their evildoers fighting one another for the same prize.  In the end, ALL of these groups and people are criminals and need to be exterminated as such.  We are fighting a war of the worlds and it’s one we can ill-afford to lose!
The Black Flag of Jihad
Most people know, there are many affiliated groups of al-Qaida spread throughout both Africa and the Middle East and it’s clear to most except for the dimmest bulbs among us that terrorism is on the march and soon could be retracing the steps taken by the last Muslim invasion of Europe, the Ottoman Turks.  Back in the 1400’s, they penetrated as far as the gates of Austria and it was only due to the hard work, blood, sweat, and tears shed by combined European powers that it was stopped.  Now, we see this ominous rise of evil men from all over the world with the intent of forcing the rest of the world to accept Islam or die fighting it.  I believe that our present president lacks the will or even the real knowledge of what’s coming, then again, he could be in tacit approval of it and hopes for a victory.  Like I said yesterday, anyone who spends his or her youth growing up in madrasas has Islam imbedded in his or her heart and that is President Obama in my estimation.  I fear that in another year or two, the war will be raging against both Israel and our allies throughout the region—rapidly diminishing all the time—and then will be headed our way.  In a war of the worlds such as this one, we could very well be facing an enemy as evil as the Martian invaders in H.G. Wells’ classic novel.
President Barack Obama
I think that if ISIS thrives without coming under the control of the overall al-Qaida command, then it bodes ill for the original cave-crouching lowlifes.  It means that virtually within the span of a year or less, all of these groups will copy the new model while kicking the old men to the curb, well, if there were curbs near the caves in which, they hide, that is.  I suspect that a Pandora’s Box of evildoers using the al-Qaida name like the ones in Somalia and in the Maghreb in Yemen will each go their own way, like when a cancer metastasizes and goes bad, all parts of the body will fall prey to the disease and it will become more and more virulent.  I see this as an overwhelming illness infecting the host of humanity and if the U.S. does not do what it’s done in the past, inoculating the rest of the free world by defending it, we will all succumb together or separately.  Look at Western Europe, tacitly; it’s already spreading like wildfire using the freedoms of these nations to force it to submit to Allah and totalitarianism.
The European Union—becoming Islamicized by the Day
Now, I am going to say something highly controversial so it’s a good thing that it’s Saturday, I believe that the world was a better place when the Europeans mostly and the United States to a lesser degree colonized the developing world.  Yes, I believe this to be true because the western powers brought civilization, law and order, and education to all of these peoples who fought among themselves, fought against the spread of Islam, kept all of these things in their place so the people could live freely under their guidance.  I know that many are going to condemn what I am saying but it’s true, hammer me, I don’t care, I truly believe that the folks living in Africa and Latin America were better off when the Europeans looked out for their needs and solved their ills.  Since the age of colonialism ended, all of these places have been enveloped with various forms of lawlessness, revolt, upheaval, and lack of respect for human rights.  Sure, some have done better than others have but let’s face it, the Middle East was way better off under the governance of Europeans!  There have been some bumps in the road such as the two world wars but until the end of World War II and the end of colonialism, much of the world has gone, well, to hell!
The United Nations—under the Spell of Islam
There you go, I said it, I put it out there and let the critics pounce, it matters not to me.  I didn’t spend ten years in higher education to come out ignorant, uneducated, and full of false idealism.  I opened my eyes to the way of the world, the world is not doing very well in its present state, and the United Nations is nothing but a failed joke.  Like the League of Nations before it, what has it truly solved other than to give dictators a place in which, to accuse the developed world of being the archenemy, of pointing fingers accusatorily at those with the money and the knowledge to fix their problems.  We have given all of these crappy places the ability to attain wealth from selling their natural resources and almost all of them booted the western world out when they saw they could use the money to their own nefarious ends.  Look at the Saudis, these people more or less control our president and make him sing their song, no ours.  Hell, the man bowed to their leaders as he did to China’s and probably some others whom I have long since forgotten that is how much of an example they made on my soul.
Chef Lilah Paulikovich
We wrap it all up tomorrow, my friends, because that is what we do and then the very lovely Lilah Paulikovich, the beautiful Hawaiian conservative Republican chef will arrive here from Honolulu and will do her week in the coveted Stinkbug chair!  I am sure that whatever we discuss tomorrow will leave a lasting impression but I truly want you to leave me some hellacious comments so I can show you for the fools you are…YOU know I’m right, we here at the AICP-END are almost always right!  Especially when it comes to discussing the spread of jihad aided by the impotent young whippersnapper of a president we have, one who spent way more time in Islamic schools than anyone else I know, Christ, it’s frightening, I tell you!   Allah, please forgive me, I pray, yeah right, Allah, you know where the hell you can go! Let’s wrap it up!

We urge our readership to write to us, leave comments, and if there are any of you, who would care to write an article for us, please get in touch via Magnolia Hilltop Brewers, P.O. Box 20669, Bakersfield, CA 93390-0669.  We obviously do not pay anything but give YOU full byline and that, my friends, is worth its weight in gold.  We want as many people who want to write to be able to do so and we believe that by presenting a forum for our fellow chefs, we are doing something for our beloved industry.  We love diversity and hope to add new and different authors to our pantheon of chefs, food and beverage directors, and culinary professionals.  Come on and join us, it will be fun! Expect that when all of us have run through our cycle, we will be introducing some brand-new talent or so Stinky says.
LOVINTHINGS
We have touted the AARC Technology Company here in Bakersfield, CA, and must add the Nerds on Call.com folks.  Without them keeping our blog up-and-running, there is no telling where we would be now.  We have a great many problematic issues here at the AICP-END because even with the best security systems in the world, malware and other terrible fecal materials manage to penetrate the blogsite.  Do yourself a favor, hire the best, and note, you can have online help via a remote button on your desktop for just $25 per month!  Get in contact with the Nerds now!  Here’s another note: do NOT do business with Galkos Construction, Inc., those people are nothing but crooks as if you lease your system, you will never pay it off, plus you have to pay them for excess energy produced by your system, the electric company does not buy all of it nor do they!  AVOID GCI AT ALL COSTS; DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE CROOKS!
LEAVIN IT ALL BEHIND
We are selling recipes all the time and you can order things you would like copies of simply by mailing us your name, address, the recipe you would like and a check for $1.00.  You can buy an entire week’s worth of recipes when we do a series simply by sending us a check or money order (no cash please!) for $20 and we will have it out to you in the next day’s mail.  Please become a part of the AICP-END by sending us your names, addresses, and information and we will welcome all of you with open arms!
MORE GOLDEN GRASS

Box #20669, Bakersfield, CA, 93309-0669.  You can call about paintings at 661-834-5185; we will take all calls and provide to you as much information as is available.  It is time that we begin taking the next step and to immortalize Beverly Carrick for eternity and begin moving towards the establishment of a website of our own! God bless each single one of you amongst our fan base!
SIXTEEN GREATEST HITS
Since it’s Saturday, let’s wrap it up as quickly as possible by first having me promote the awesome music by the Grass Roots!  Did you know that this band was one of the all-time great bands to come to life in the 1960’s and then continue on more or less until today even with untold changes in personnel?  If you think the venerable British band, Savoy Brown underwent changes in personnel, all I can say is, “You ain’t seen nothing yet!” Look it up on the Internet and besides changes in musicians, they had tons of hits that you hear until today, in grocery stores, elevators, and elsewhere.  To me, that is the sign of true success, has the music of a group become so ingrained in America that you do not even know who the band or the singer is.  Yes, indeed, I hope you check into them and maybe one day, I can persuade my fellow board members to do Paul Revere and the Raiders, Three Dog Night, and maybe at some point, Blood, Sweat & Tears, a band that has had almost the same gigantic amount of musicians roaming through its history! We will finish with everything tomorrow, have a great Saturday, buy some CDs, some books by Thomas Sowell or whoever else we promote and most of all, leave some comments and refer your entourage—let us keep them informed! See you tomorrow, have an awesome day!
MOVE ALONG
Stinkbug’s Closing:
Anyhow, let us close with this impassioned plea—please leave some comments and/or become a follower. What's more, why not spend some money and purchase an album by the Grass Roots,  It’s A Beautiful Day,  Moby Grape, and everyone else we have advertised and/or buy a cookbook from Amazon.com—we want to make some money here so help us out by buying something!  Allied with them, we are pleased to market their merchandise!  Amazon.com is one of the greatest—if not the ultimate greatest!—online department stores in which, one can find almost everything on the planet.  We love them and they love us and we want all of you to visit them daily, take advantage of their deals on everything from kitchen equipment to cookbooks, CDs, DVDs, and everything else a person could want.  Everything you buy from them puts money into our pockets, which allows us to keep this fine blog up-and-running 24/7/365!  God bless America and God bless Amazon.com!
Thank you!
