“Political Topics and Essays, Part Forty-Three: Like a Man on Fire, Chef James comes in and takes it to the Gay Mafia, the Obama Agenda, and promotes a Larger Role by American Independents in saving the United States from the Obamaists!” by Chef James Hall

Today’s album by the Flying Burrito Brothers is their second release, and a great one at that, which came out in 1970: “Burrito Deluxe” (1970) and was the best album the band ever did! Featuring Gram Parsons, Chris Hillman, Mike Clark, Bernie Leadon, and of course, “Sneaky” Pete Kleinow, it made country-rock a household sound! In addition, we are also promoting the book, “Milton Friedman on Economics: Selected Papers” by Milton Friedman, which came out in 2008! Use the link above to buy the album, then go to the other link, and buy the book!

The Peace and Freedom Party of Old
Bakersfield, CA, 02-24-2014 Monday: Hello, friends, it is good to be back and what is more, I love the new format as now, I can concentrate on getting my political points across rather than worry about proofing recipes and then throwing in a few secondary thoughts either before or after the base essay!  If you have followed my posts, then you know that I am a political independent, once long ago, a member of the Peace and Freedom Party, I mean, how wild is that, right.  That was the quintessential ‘hippie party’ in that it brought together people from all sides of the aisle here in California and other broadminded states and gave us all the idea that we could be transformative when it came to American politics.  Unfortunately, these guys never had the opportunity to ever change a thing because if you are not a member of one mainstream party or the other, you basically throw away your votes in every national election and in many statewide ones, too. Therefore, I had to cross over to the American Independent Party, which also is a non-starter except for those rare times when someone like Ross Perot comes along, lights the match to the powder keg and then ends up dropping out because they could care less if they win an election or they do not.  It is a very sad thing to lead people along and then to abandon them at the time in which, they need you and this is what happens time after time.
American Independent Icon, Ross Perot
As an American independent, I tend to study the issues with meticulous care and do my best to attend town hall meetings as well as attend local politics in action such as going to the City Hall when major issues need discussing.  Since I live in Santa Barbara, California, I live in one of those rock-solid liberal bastions in which, we always try to find ways in which, we can continue cementing the liberal dream of controlling the lives of every citizen.  We pass all sorts of laws designed to bite the proverbial hands that feed the community, you know, the wealthy one-percent that we have here more so than any other place in the state with the exceptions of Beverly Hills, San Francisco, and Marin County.  Yet, even those one-percenters do not feel like they are the evil ones, you know, the ones the liberal pursue unless, of course, they buy their ways out of being hunted by giving liberal donations to liberal candidates.  In so doing, they remove themselves as targets or find themselves occasional targets to which, they can spend more in donations so as to be left alone.  Yes, it is a scam but that is what fuels liberal politics and politicians, they believe in drawing blood from those they seek to offer ‘protection from persecution policies,’ meaning hefty donations to the war chests of the politicians.

Santa Barbara, California
You see, politics in / the United States have become more a matter of paying the proper hands the correct amounts so that one can continue to live his or her life in the way in which, they choose to live it, free of having leftists plant themselves in their front yards at ten o’clock at night holding protest signs.  A week or two ago, some poor oil executive had a bunch of environmental whackos show up outside their home after ten o’clock at night with burning torches and masks covering their faces protesting fracking or wait, it was the Keystone XL Pipeline.  The man begged them, ‘not here not at this time of night’ but the little pricks probably did not take the hint and had to suffer arrest at the hands of law enforcement.  Here in Santa Barbara, we seldom see stuff like that but the reason for that is because we do our best to fly beneath the radar so we can offset these problems from happening!  Did you ever think that you would see an America such as this one?  We are on the road to dictatorship and it is getting damned ugly in the world!
The Flag of the Gay Nazis
The good thing is, we have an election in November that I hope is going to solve many of the problems of which, we find ourselves smack dab in the center!  I know that when last I was here in September 2013, I was in the middle of discussing several topics when it ended on Sunday, September 08.  We were discussing the problems of immigration reform and the homosexual drive to force Gay marriage down the throats of every American and both of those topics are alive and well.  It seems that now, we have judges in a variety of states that have taken it upon themselves to strike down rulings on defense of marriage in different states, something on which, the voters voiced their feelings and which, the judges seem to feel is bigoted and that they need to overturn them.  The same thing happened here in California—twice no less, the last time with Proposition 8!—and no matter how many times the voters voice their opinions, the courts overturn them!
Gay Symbolism
The thing that makes many of us disgusted is the idea that nowadays, the far left liberals decry that Gay rights are the same as rights for the blacks, it is the same thing, which is the farthest thing from the truth!  Homosexuality is about behavior whereas whatever skin color one has at birth is a matter of genetics.  I do not think there is a single young man—unless he is so fortunate to find dates at an early age—who does not consider going down the homosexual route after his first taste of sex.  I mean, if a young guy is so lucky to find a woman to give him sexual gratification but then she disappears out of his life or fails to keep giving him what his young inexperienced libido demands, that that young fellow has not considered going down that path!  It is a matter of behavior and it’s also a matter of one’s hormones or lack of them that leads one in whatever direction they so choose to follow but I do NOT believe that anyone is born inherently Gay!
Gays love President Barack Obama
Therefore, let me say this to you: Gay rights and marriage are all a distraction as the liberals seek to force many of us into silence by making us appear or worse, to feel that we are closet bigots.  This has been the tactic since Day One with Barack Obama, his proponents have made his opponents to feel like they are the ones who need attitude readjustments when in fact, it is THEY who need adjustments, NOT us!  Do not get me wrong, I am fairly liberal on many social issues but I get angry when people make me out to be wrong or to be prejudiced in some way when I have never been bigoted about anyone or anything over the course of my life.  If there is one thing the foodservice industry teaches us, it is the fact that we work with all sorts of people, Gay, straight, black, brown, yellow, red, white, you name it, we work with them.   To be successful, we have to work as a well-oiled crew, which means we cannot have a lot of diversions pulling us apart, we pull together, work hard, accomplish the job, and share in the results.  I would say this is what America needs to do, it needs to find a way in which, we can all pull together and not attack one another, we have to put a stop to that as otherwise, our nation is not going to last another 100 years, much less another 238 years.
President Barack Obama
That is going to be the last word for this start of the week, Monday, here at the American Institute of Culinary Politics-Elemental News of the Day!  I am telling you that in our line of business, we work side-by-side with all manner of people and when there are issues, we find a way in which, we can solve it and then move ahead and that would be a great thing for the nation to emulate.  All too often, we allow push-pull politics to tear us apart as we spend more time slinging mud at one another than we do in sitting down around a large table and working out our problems.  We can do it, I know we can and it is my hope that we will find a true opposition party with which, to stop what the Obamaists are doing rather than allowing the negatives to continue unabated.  This has been the most divisive pair of presidential administrations this nation has ever seen and it is clear that we need to put a stop to what has been going on so we can save the country for our kids!   We will continue with more of the same tomorrow, I hope you will join me!
Forward with Obama is NOT moving ahead!

We urge our readership to write to us, leave comments, and if there are any of you, who would care to write an article for us, please get in touch via Magnolia Hilltop Brewers, P.O. Box 20669, Bakersfield, CA 93390-0669.  We obviously do not pay anything but give YOU full byline and that, my friends, is worth its weight in gold.  We want as many people who want to write to be able to do so and we believe that by presenting a forum for our fellow chefs, we are doing something for our beloved industry.  We love diversity and hope to add new and different authors to our pantheon of chefs, food and beverage directors, and culinary professionals.  Come on and join us, it will be fun! Expect that when all of us have run through our cycle, we will be introducing some brand-new talent or so Stinky says.
LIVE AT LAST
We have touted the AARC Technology Company here in Bakersfield, CA, and must add the Nerds on Call.com folks.  Without them keeping our blog up-and-running, there is no telling where we would be now.  We have a great many problematic issues here at the AICP-END because even with the best security systems in the world, malware and other terrible fecal materials manage to penetrate the blogsite.  Do yourself a favor, hire the best, and note, you can have online help via a remote button on your desktop for just $25 per month!  Get in contact with the Nerds now!  Here’s another note: do NOT do business with Galkos Construction, Inc., those people are nothing but crooks as if you lease your system, you will never pay it off, plus you have to pay them for excess energy produced by your system, the electric company does not buy all of it nor do they!  AVOID GCI AT ALL COSTS; DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE CROOKS!
SYMPHONIC HITS
We are selling recipes all the time and you can order things you would like copies of simply by mailing us your name, address, the recipe you would like and a check for $1.00.  You can buy an entire week’s worth of recipes when we do a series simply by sending us a check or money order (no cash please!) for $20 and we will have it out to you in the next day’s mail.  Please become a part of the AICP-END by sending us your names, addresses, and information and we will welcome all of you with open arms!

God bless each single one of you amongst our fan base!
GILDED PALACE OF SIN
I am excited at the wide range of music we find ourselves offering the public this time around because who does not know and love both the Grass Roots and the Flying Burrito Brothers!  Growing up in the 1960’s was an exciting time as all of the music—including the lower end bands like the Blues Magoos, the Seeds, the Electric Prunes, all had memorable hits.  I mean, listening to Question Mark and the Mysterions and other one-hit wonders of the times were awesome, the music was phenomenal unlike the crap we hear on the modern radio stations.  Listening to losers that came up on the Internet have become monstrous stars unlike the ones that had to play seven nights a week, three shows a night, that was true music my friends—never doubt that for a single minute!  That’s it for today, buy some CDs, leave some comments, become followers, and then be one among with us for the rest of your lives!  I will see you all tomorrow!
BURRITO DELUXE
Stinkbug’s Closing:
Anyhow, let us close with this impassioned plea—please leave some comments and/or become a follower. What's more, why not spend some money and purchase an album by the Flying Burrito Bros, the Grass Roots,  It’s A Beautiful Day,  Moby Grape, the Doors, and everyone else we have advertised and/or buy a cookbook from Amazon.com—we want to make some money here so help us out by buying something!  Allied with them, we are pleased to market their merchandise!  Amazon.com is one of the greatest—if not the ultimate greatest!—online department stores in which, one can find almost everything on the planet.  We love them and they love us and we want all of you to visit them daily, take advantage of their deals on everything from kitchen equipment to cookbooks, CDs, DVDs, and everything else a person could want.  Everything you buy from them puts money into our pockets, which allows us to keep this fine blog up-and-running 24/7/365!  God bless America and God bless Amazon.com!
Thank you!

This is me as a chef during the 1980's when we took a group photograph for a Chefs de Cuisine yearbook. At the time, I was working at a hotel in Bakersfield, CA, down on Union Avenue. It was still somewhat nice and the area was still the original "restaurant row" of the city. Now, I am 67 years old and work over in Santa Barbara, CA, as a food and beverage director for a fine-dining country club.
